The thing is, Gengar actually requires skill as you need to be very accurate with your skills, miss once, you get punished unlike other broken mons in this game
They should make more pokemon like Gengar where there is high risk high reward and also require skill to use like you can play Gengar in alot of diffrent way even tho his move set is simple that is why Gengar is fun to play because you have full control of the pokemon if the player is good the pokemon is also good
Gengar can definitely have great games. I personally think Gengar is just in dire need of a new/reworked passive ability since its current one does basically nothing at all. I also think it's odd that Gengar is pretty much the only speedster whose movement abilities are almost strictly meant to be used to go in for KOs, rather than maneuver around the map. For that reason, I'd also be happy if they lowered Gengar's Unite Move cooldown, even if it means they'd have to lower the move's damage to balance it out.
I think his mobility is meant to be either Dream Eater or Hex cause of him teleporting onto enemies, but I do see your point. It's not really enough to get you across a map
That or have him float and increase movement speed but I like the idea of reworking its Unite to be more about moving around the map faster and surprise attack more often.
@jakiru8783 definitely, Hex should be on equal terms with Dream in terms of surprising foes. They could make it so you can teleport with them anytime without having to hit enemies
Glad to see my main on this channel after a while! Have a 60% win rate on him but my entire experience with him feels more like a 50/50 for me. He can be extremely good or extremely bad depending on what ensues throughout the game. With my build I’m using a lot of silver emblems because I only have those but I usually pour a lot into Sp. Atk and run stacking because of the early scores I like to get after getting a KO chain at the start. Usually after stacking I run back to jungle the minute I see that Baltoy back up to stay high on the leveling curve. Based on my experience, I think clearing your jungle quickly as soon as it spawns makes it spawn more frequently as well, but I could be wrong.
Gengar is a mon that i simply flee on sight. Like yeah its squishy to take down if the player isnt skilled, but honestly if a person is running with gengar-they have confidence in themselves for a reason 😅😂
Don't forget the magical Gengar trick. Where you were losing Rayquaza and you ulted. When you knew it was about 3/8th health and then jacked the unite baron
- Liquidation gives you a Surging Strikes basic (healing + cdr) - Unite Move cannot be escaped after it hits and will refund you 90% if you don’t hit the follow up due to Unstoppable Those two would fix the Lv 7 gank and give it a a better late game.
I think the Pokémon that cannot win without a lot of team help is Machamp. and even with a good team, you won’t end up doing a lot of damage either especially now with the new range of all rounders, Machamp feels really outdated in terms of his damage and sustainability. I feel like he needs a large buff to all his damage moves.
go for green + black, instead of focusing on the specific stats. if you dont have enough to fill it up (you need three that are both) then dont worry, just get as close as you can. happy gaming!
"Gardy's looking for a huge unite here" five seconds later gardevoir proceeds to panic unite dragonite alone dealing basically no damage 😂 Edit: Timestamp 8:36
Spragels finally unlock Gengar full potential and now he know that Gengar is S tier if the player is good and have a high skill Spragels is going to be a GENGAR MASTER he is playing a pokemon that is the hardest to Master now Spragels officially playing pokemon unite with his full skill power and full potential
I feel with Gengar it's ability needs a rework as it's just a movement increase effectively just having a float stone Change its ability to cursed body and make the opponents move gets disabled when it gets hit and have a cool down
It would be awesome if devs added 2 more moves on each pokemon (1 on each slot) to choose from, this would make builds more unique and allow TH-camrs to make more varied and diverse builds. Like, giving Gengar the option to pick either Shadow Ball, Sludge bomb or Dark Pulse on his first slot and Hypnosis, Hex or Taunt/Substitute on his second slot. Just by adding 1 more move to each slot it would be amazing for build variety and content creation imo
yeah I don't know ever since the patch I think it's impossible to win with Zapdos. I mean, not only is Zapdos unpickable they're not even on the map anymore! I mean what are Zapdos mains supposed to do when you remove them from the normal game mode entirely!!?
i really hate if you are winning without doubt and ONE of your teammate starts Rayquaza.. i mean u are winning why are u doing him just stay away and stop the enemy team starting him... Lost so many Games because my team doing him and they steal it easily...
I accidentally bought Gengar a few weeks ago and was like "aw man what a waste of coins..." but then I started using it and actually had a great time! I'm a terrible player but Gengar works really well. I just wish the other moveset would get buffed.
The thing is, Gengar actually requires skill as you need to be very accurate with your skills, miss once, you get punished unlike other broken mons in this game
yeah I think that's what makes gengar balanced imo
@@fastfirefox1475gotta know who to hit and when to attack, all the while not getting dove on.
@@fastfirefox1475 direct dash on anyone then get punished cuz you did little damage to a goodra
@@fastfirefox1475 it's about timing mostly, sure it does a lot of damage, but like they can just pull back and ambush you if you're stupid enough

Totally agree with this!!
Hex also needs better targeting to prioritize those under the effects of status.
@jakiru8783 definitely, Hex should be on equal terms with Dream in terms of surprising foes. They could make it so you can teleport with them anytime without having to hit enemies
I hate when my dumb team follows gengar alone and gets KO
Because no one play Gengar and because of that no one know how to fight Gengar
Surely not following😂 the ghost alone in the jungle to get slain from behind like in horror movies😂😂😂😂

The very definition of a glass cannon. All Pokémon can win with a level lead or solid team but there are some pretty bad Pokémon.
This holowear fits Gengar so well
@Spragels that was a sick video dude so true about Gengar either you roll them or they roll you
Gengar is a mon that i simply flee on sight. Like yeah its squishy to take down if the player isnt skilled, but honestly if a person is running with gengar-they have confidence in themselves for a reason 😅😂
That absol KO at ray fight through the wall was FILTHY. Full HP and never stood a chance.
It good but lot of it kit feel outdated ex. Passive and it unite
Don't forget the magical Gengar trick. Where you were losing Rayquaza and you ulted. When you knew it was about 3/8th health and then jacked the unite baron
hey jake, what buffs would you give wet bear to make it a decent carry again, but not overpowered like before?
Probably small Unite move buff for more damage, slightly more damage on rapid strike or slightly more healing on rapid strike.
- Liquidation gives you a Surging Strikes basic (healing + cdr)
- Unite Move cannot be escaped after it hits and will refund you 90% if you don’t hit the follow up due to Unstoppable

This is the best video and I completely agree my friend :)

Been a while since I played Pokémon Unite (around 6-8 months) and Gengar was my main back then so excited that it’s truly good now!
gengar has been my main since release, thanks for giving him some attention
Same!!
do you have alternate emblems to suggest? because i don't have many of these emblems XD

I just watched your mr mime video and just want to let u know that , ARE YOU SERIOUS 😂
I swear, every game where spragels go mid, someone in lane is pinging Retreat! in the first 60 seconds
"Gardy's looking for a huge unite here"
five seconds later gardevoir proceeds to panic unite dragonite alone dealing basically no damage 😂
Edit: Timestamp 8:36
I have the same exact build for gengar. But your gengar heals much much faster than my gengar. How ? I'm confused
Spragels finally unlock Gengar full potential and now he know that Gengar is S tier if the player is good and have a high skill Spragels is going to be a GENGAR MASTER he is playing a pokemon that is the hardest to Master now Spragels officially playing pokemon unite with his full skill power and full potential
do you have space gengar also i used gengar the most of the games i've played since i got the space skin
try espeed luca its a bit of struggle in soloq
I feel with Gengar it's ability needs a rework as it's just a movement increase effectively just having a float stone
Change its ability to cursed body and make the opponents move gets disabled when it gets hit and have a cool down
Wouldn't mind a Sableye or Greedent video
I miss Gengar. Shadow ball and dream eats you to rush down after everything
gengar for console so much easier to get your shots with a controller and probably on a scuff controller would be the best to help the aim.
Your video is the reason why i want to buy gengar and absol
Gengar is actually my go to for speedsters since I solo. It’s also the most fun to play in my opinion
I personally like to play zoroark, it good at it, but by far the funnest in my opinion
It would be awesome if devs added 2 more moves on each pokemon (1 on each slot) to choose from, this would make builds more unique and allow TH-camrs to make more varied and diverse builds.

for the poeple that say this game is for children we got a full grown adult man here playing this 😂😂
Is it bad that I use hex + shadow ball as my moveset?
Yes

Sableye and greedant can win but they seem to be actively trying to not.
Gengar & Zoroark are the most broken speedsters and can K.O. a entire team
while all enemies are at full health
Ad a skilled Gengar user, you can get ko after ko in some games, and do diddly squat in other games
Charizard
Gengar is a hard character in a meta where all the top tiers are super easy
Is hard but if you are good you can one shot like 90% of the pokemon unite roster
gengar might be S tier, but the vc system in this game is decidueye memorial tier
Gengar works in lane just not in spragles' games
since when was gengar classified as bad??
Ayo that was indeed a nice game
QOTD: Water Urshifu is the worst Pokémon to me
None of the pokemon "can't win", however, water bear pretty much can't win if the enemy team doesn't let you get 3 levels up 💀
I love it when A tier players call themselves S tier.
I play against youtubers and crush them...
QOTD: Goodra, Greninja, Water bear...
100% Water Bear
Yall underestimate sludge bomb + hex, thing's crazy. btw gg
gengar isnt S tier, it's gamble tier. If you get a good matchup you win, if you get scizor, 3 defenders and comfey you lose (yes that happened)
Play Hex instead into those matchups.
You do better into tanks when you play Hex. Scizor is a non-threat as well
@@MedhaosFEH I do play hex whenever needed with my 67% wr gengar but it's such a struggle to do what other pokemon do from a save range
Spragels play mew pls.
Yee
If it's gengar, I click😏
I know Greninja can win but the ones on my team never do
Ok now do water bear
If someone has the audacity to play a bad pokémon, they're either insanely cracked or unbelievably bad.
Most of the time its the second option 😂
Yeah that’s true… the second part at least
What about machamp? I have never seen a good one. It does nothing and dies as fast as an attacker
Talonflame is better than Gengar
Buff my gengar! He is high risk mid reward most of the time
i really hate if you are winning without doubt and ONE of your teammate starts Rayquaza..
i mean u are winning why are u doing him just stay away and stop the enemy team starting him...
Lost so many Games because my team doing him and they steal it easily...
They should remove ray and make first team to score 500 pts
When do i actually start playing against real people in this game. Won 30 games in a row, 600 to like 100
At around veteran or ultra
Yio
