Remembering the times when clutch claw was introduced in World and all these new combos were implemented to make the most of it. Glad to see it has a successor in Wilds
This is why there is "in between MH game (e.i. Rise etc..)" between the mainline games. These two branches compliment each other. Glad to see they implemented Rise's mount system and roughly the "weapon swap" (skill switch in Rise).

What rise mechanic?
Wonder if the Seikret can be used to move freely or not, like the Palamute in Rise?
It can. It does have an auto-pilot function, like the mounts in World that just take you to the monster. But you can also just explore at your leisure whilst riding the Seikret.

Much of this sans the mount are in MH World if you’d like to get into the series. You can get it on sale pretty frequently.

World is great but Rise is a fantastic entry point as some of the grinding in World can be monotonous at times.

LETS FREAKIN GO BRO!!! This is another MH game using the MH:world engine!!! but better! SHarpen your weapons and eat your steaming hot meals people, we got some new hunts on our hands!!
It's not the same engine. World was built on MT framework which was a PS3/xbox360 engine. Rise used the far more advanced RE engine but was targeted at the switch so its graphics were scaled way back. I'm pretty sure that Wilds uses the REX engine which is an upgrade to the RE engine.

We knew About it for quite a time. You are able to carry 2 weapons of your choice to the hunt (your mount is carrying second one)

Hmm kinda miss the less realism aproach of worlds here, but it seems to have some cool mechanics just realy hoping for a vibrant setting worlds was pretty.
Biggist selling point for me though is chef Animation. Food is realy impostant in this franchise… litteraly was the thing that stopped me from forking money over for Rise…. Literally is the biggest deciding factor!
