Thanks for the in-depth review. I personally like Dura Dressing for the tires on my cars, which keeps a nice sheen on the tires for months, but this is a great-looking product also.
DarkSide is probably the best I’ve seen in terms of resistance to rain. The darkening effect doesn’t last on any tire dressing IMO. DarkSide is about as good as you can expect from a dressing not a coating.
How would you compare it with PERL? Currently doing 1:1 Perl and I wash my tires (full rim take off) every two weeks. Been very happy with Perl because it goes on, lasts me 2 weeks, and comes off relatively easy. But it would be nice if I didn’t have to recoat it every car wash and only had to do it every other.
Adams products are not much better than the chemical guys they’re kind of a joke. They don’t even manufacture. Their own stuff. Another company manufactures it for them and put their name on it.
Thnx! I've been using Adams and Fireball. I'm almost out. And I scrub the crap out of my sidewalls before reapplying. I use ONR everytime I come back and only wash my car once a month. So far, my dressing lasts almost a month.
I bought dark side, used it on 3 different vehicles and on every vehicle it slung, tires were cleaned with brake buster and after I applied it I then wiped the tire with a rag and let it sit for 2 days and still slung
Are you asking about the thing under the wheel? If so, its a rubber tile that I got from Homedepot. I park the cars on top of them so i don't have to move the car back and forth to clean all the way around the wheel
I wish companies would just get rid of time claims. It varies way too much from car to car. It’s like fuel mileage claims, the estimates are created based off the most perfect conditions possible. Not real world in my opinion.
This is very well presented with good follow-up in terms of longevity, and high level comparisons towards the end. Thanks.

Thank you for watching. Darkside is my favourite looking tire dressing so far.
ive tried perl, darkside, and blackout and i think i like darkside the most
I ordered it recently, can't wait to get it.. I was using the tw graphene tire shine..
I hope you like it as much as I did. I’m gonna put this and the tw Graphene on the same vehicle to see which does better
@@TheCarDetailingChannel mix them, hehe..
I have a bottle of Darkside but haven’t used it yet. If I can got a month or maybe a bit longer without having to dress the tires it’s worth it to me.

Thanks for sharing your experience with it. I’m curious to see how this does against some others that also claim x amount of time
I've been using Adam's Graphene Tire Dressing, but have been curious about Darkside by Carpro. Looks good.
Dark side is way better! You won’t be disappointed

Would love to see a comparison. I am pretty happy with Darkside so far.
Darkside is a solid product by Carpro. Definitely going to be putting it up against some competitors

Which Adam’s product are you using? I might buy some more long lasting tire dressing to do a fun little comparison
I've been using the Adam's Graphene Tire Dressing. Since then, I've read that "Adam's Graphene" is all hype. I am not a chemist, so who knows?
@@dtnaIt’s pretty good but it doesn’t last as long as DarkSide or Fireball.
Darkside always is absorbed so much in my applicator that it barely gets on the tire. Any advice?
Perfect shine. I’m curious
Perfect for me. I think high gloss looks terrible on tires and trim.
What do you use to clean the tires doing weekly maintenance washes after applying Darkside? I have this product and I honestly am indifferent about it
The tires get pressure washed and foamed down during my pre wash process. I follow that with an ONR wipe down and I’m usually good to go
I bought dark side, used it on 3 different vehicles and on every vehicle it slung, tires were cleaned with brake buster and after I applied it I then wiped the tire with a rag and let it sit for 2 days and still slung
That’s pretty odd. I’ve never had this sling. How heavy are you applying it?
That's what I've been seeing. I have it in my cart but I am reading mixed reviews about them slinging. I think I'm going to pass.
Gyeon q2 tire is good also. About the same
Oh I gotta try that for sure. I love Gyeon products
What do you call that thing where you mount the wheels?
Are you asking about the thing under the wheel? If so, its a rubber tile that I got from Homedepot. I park the cars on top of them so i don't have to move the car back and forth to clean all the way around the wheel
@@TheCarDetailingChannel yes exactly. What do you put on the search bar for these to come out?
@thefreshprinceofgreenhills search for Rimmats. I have some and they are brilliant. Not exactly the cheapest option but they seem to do the trick
All of these detail stuff that claim they last never do,

My VIP from chemical guys is empyt. I'm going for this one Keep the good work.
