My favorite towel is Mr. Everything from Autofiber. It is very similar to the Rag Company Edgeless 365 except it is 390gsm. Your video is filled with great information on different microfibers. I also learned the hard way that thick fluffy microfiber towels start to lint after using them to apply paint sealants, quick detailers and drying aids. I bought several dozen of them and got so frustrated with the lint that I threw them all away.

Thank you and thanks for letting me know. The lint is definitely the enemy. Cheers

Bilt Hamber has their own blue 375gsm cloth. Just lovely for everything.

I generally agree with you about the fluffy towels not being great for a lot, but one use I find them to be amazing for is to keep a couple in your car for interior small dusting and cleaning on the go for the interior especially on glossy trims and delicate screens. It works exceptionally well as a handy towel to always keep in the door pocket.

Rinse less wash: fluffy towels in a bucket, 3-5 towels depending on vehicle size.
I agree with your tip about the interior dust towel. They aren't very good for sealants which Is why I bought them but I also use a few indoors for dusting which works well.

Great in depth dive into microfibres.
I think detail POPO is underrated and is definitely a great value. I’ve had the twisted loop for many years.
Definitely will try the Kirkland laundry soap too.
    Thanks

For glass, the Popo carbon blanket towel is my favorite for a streak-free final wipe. For a first wipe on dirtier glass, I like a twist loop like the Autofiber glass flip towels

Its a shame the high plush towels lint so bad. Have you ever tried the Klin Korea towels? I have some and love them. A little pricey but well worth it in my opinion. Great video.

Costco towels have been tagless for quite a while now. Detailing is dirty work and you need some less expensive towels, Defintely the way to go for a general purpose towel for interiors/wheels/engine bay etc. The ''weave'' towels you referred to are more commonly referred to as pearl weave, they are definitely the best in short nap technology. for polish/coatings/sealants etc. I use a similar cheaper laundry detergent+ vinegar for my cheaper towels and rags to richer for my expensive towels to help break down the Si02/ceramic build up.
