The enthusiasm of these guys never stops ,it's contagious .these guys are such a joy to watch and there videos are so informative .The best sailing Chanel by far and never condescending .thank god they haven't gone down the mental health route as so many channels have down as they have gone way to woke .A channel for sailors and also for people who want to get away from the mundane on a weekly basis .
Love the little model at 0:56...it's the little things that count. And even if all you know for other languages are Spanglish and Polynesian greetings, that's still better than no knowledge! Motivate yourself to pick up more languages! As Federico Fellini once said, a different language is a different vision of life. To have another language is to possess a second soul. So by learning another language, you're opening the door to that culture and thus a new perspective. Opening ourselves up by learning other languages...is how we grow as people. It's another way of appreciating the world surrounding us. If you talk to a person in a language they understand, that goes to their head. But to them in their own language, that goes to their heart.
These guys are true adventurers and seemingly so genuine and honest. Their positivity is infectious and they always see the bright side of things in life.
I really like the sugar scoops that fold up, it seems like a good safety feature from both a following sea point of view but also for safety when you are on deck. You guys see soooo excited about your new boat, and that's a fun thing Keep the good stuff coming guys.
And safety for landing fish, granted our sugar scoops are much smaller as we’re only 38 ft but I have not been comfortable with my husband going down there to land a big fish while underway, they really can thrash and it’s not much space (he does have he hand holds but I’d be much happier with the fold up sugar scoops). Alas our budget was not a new boat boat so we’ll be happy with our 38 ft 11 year old boat and I’ll just make him clip in when there’s a big fish on.
I've never noticed this before.. but Nikki is an absolute stunner. y'all are an awesome power couple.. I'll be tuning in from time to time, excited when y'all get your new boat splashed and hashed.
Love seeing your excitement over this stuff! This really is like watching two kids in a toy shop. This was a neat tour! Though I still think you chose the right one. When you decide to make a big purchase of a mode of transport, you look for the one that speaks to you. And the boat you ended up selecting spoke to you! Fun fact: The flag at 1:49 is the civic ensign of the British Virgin Islands! The ordinary British Virgin Islands flag is dark blue! The flag and its coat of arms has been in use since 1960! It features St. Ursula holding a gold oil lamp and surrounded by eleven lamps. These eleven lamps represent her 11,000 virgin followers. These islands would be named after these followers by Columbus in 1493 as the BVI's many islands reminded him of them. Below the shield is a banner that says "Vigilate" which is the territory's motto and means "Be watchful" in Latin. Although what is now BVI was claimed by the Spanish in 1555, they didn't build any settlements there and the Dutch were the first to live there until 1666 when English planters forced the Dutch to leave.
Just a suggestion to think about with lots of tea drinking... Tea and coffee are considered the strongest inhibitors of iron. A cup of tea reduces iron absorption by about 75%-80%, and a cup of coffee by about 60%. The stronger you make them, the greater the effect will be. So it's best to avoid tea and coffee while eating and for two hours before and after the meal. I hope you find this useful and helpful. Thank you for your great content and cheerful energy! Good luck with the new boat!!
HH52-SCF. Absolutely, no question. I just retired at 75 and I can tell you ... life is short. Besides, $2 million buys a basic west coast starter shack . You, on the other hand, will have the whole world as your backyard. Go for it. You are good people and you deserve the best. And ... the HH52-SCF will double your subscribers, viewers and patrons.
@@Chris-fo8wp The Outremer 52 can pivot the helm from the outboard laydown seat, to standing and docking position, to inboard under cover. Best of all worlds.
@@Chris-fo8wp agree. Might be fun for a few hours but not on a long passage. No protection from the elements at all. Seems like a lot of space and expense for something that won't get much use after the first few months.

9 times out of 10 I'm stuck at work watching these videos it makes me chomp at the bit and dream about being on the water.. Although I really dig the green color the Wynns chose.. I was looking at HH5505 metallic gray trimmed in carbon That 1 really got my heart..❤
Man, TH-cam was ON IT today with notifications when you posted! So glad it was. I Love my Sunday mornings with the Wynns. Whether I'm on my way home from nightshift or at work dayshift and have to wait until I get home to watch or I'm on days off and can watch snuggled in bed, Sundays are a favorite because of these videos. Thank you.

Needs a slick way to move the tack of the Code zero from bow to bow from the cockpit for improved offwind sailing. Also about time for retractable drives to improve performance and eliminate maintenance. Needs a way to control jib traveler car position from the cockpit.
*Glad you are back, I thought maybe something was wrong as we missed you last week. On a sidenote, if you’d like sailing channels don’t forget about the “Cruising Kiwis “it’s the adventures of a New Zealand family sailing the world*
I like the back cockpit couse we can watch THE BOAT and, you know, sometimes people fall in the water. If you are back there, chances are greater you see and can do something right at the moment.
Hello Nikki & Jason! Enjoyed seeing all the boats with all the new inviting features. Can't say I would be as excited to sit in a chair that hangs out over the hull as Jason is, but, I guess it could be more of an enjoyable thought if it weren't for the thought of something coming up & grabbing me off the seat. I liked the roominess in the shower. You both have very good taste in boats & I'm looking forward to the adventures that lay ahead with you both. I hope you & Jason have a good week!
This will be y'all's first new boat and just like the first new house others buy there will always be new features and gadgets in the newer houses and boats that come after yours. Y'all are getting an awesome boat from everything you've shown on your channel. Maybe they can fit the tiller chairs you like on your boat if it's not too late in the build. If not just add it to the list of things the two of you discover that you want for your next new boat in a few years. After all this new boat doesn't have to be your last new boat it's only your first new boat.
The wait to awesomeness continues....but WOW that boat is really great! Love the idea of the helm seat hanging out like that!! Definite flashbacks to my sailing days in Boston Harbor with a 17 ft sloop....and trying not to get hit in the head when tacking. LOL I didn't see a dishwasher in that boat....haha.
love you excitement and story telling. We are not sailors but RVers. After 12 years with my parents travel trailer we pick up our new Imperials Outdoors X 195, We will be going from a 32 foot conventional travel trailer to a 20 foot off road travel trailer. For the most part all electric, 1200 watts solar, and 1000 amp hr. lithium batteries and composting toilet. Off grid time will be only limited by the amount of food we can haul and the ability to find potable water. I am looking forward to seeing your new cat and your adventures on it.
We are anchored in Stocking Harbour in the Exumas in 20 knot winds. While all the other cats in the anchorage are solidly pointing into the wind, the HH50 anchored next to us is darting all over the place. It could be due to the bridle attachment position but it can’t be comfortable for the crew.
Hey guys - the one thing I love of your new boat is the exterior hull color. Having seen many sailboats of different shapes and colors, never have I seen one in the color y’all chose. Can’t wait for y’all to pick it up and be back home on the water sailing. Have a blast this weekend and enjoy land life while you can. Cheers from north central alabama USA.
