I encourage you to travel around China. I have longed to see someone sail China. The entire country is so clean, safe and beautiful. I have been from Beijing to Tibet and it squashes all expectations and prejudices. Love Nikki's Audrey Hepburn outfit and of course i love your new boat.
I watched your other video and came here didn't expect it to be in Xiamen, I grew up till 9 there, I been to the roads and parks you went to once too :)
IDEA for the Wynns: For the workshop bench top. How about a drop in wood surface than can get all beat up and when it gets too bad just drop in another piece of wood? You'll have a lip or fingers that will hold it in place. You could go with bamboo since it's more eco friendly and it's water resistant.
Magnificent hull and topside color combo. May I suggest that in the unlikely event your boat turns turtle that you consider painting an orange safety stripe, from bow to stern, on the underside of the center between the cat hulls. The stripe would be hidden from eye view under normal upright cruising. This stripe would aid SOS identification because your colors, although beautiful, are very hard to see by the Coast Guard in a choppy ocean.
You're in Xiamen! When i saw that it blew my mind. Ive lived in Xiamen for the past 10 years and i had no idea there was a place building boats like that nearby. Was kinda thrilling seeing you walk around town and I kept recognizing places i know or the lake i go on walks by. Im an American so its always exciting to see others making videos in "my" city.
I flew through Xiaman once on Xiamen Air, and we landed just to go through security and went through 4 check points through a rat maze of corridors and back on the same plane. Crazy experience. But after that, there was only 1 passenger per isle, and I got to sleep across 4 seats all the way to LAX.
Make sure to check out the Zheng He museum (great Chinese explorer) and the southern Shaolin Temple in Quanzhou. Take the train. I saw your boat in Coromandel last year and have just missed you again in Xiamen. Also check out the tea culture there. It has a big history. All the best.
I'm just not sure it's going to look good in the long run. It may turn out to be a haircut you hate when you look back in 20 years and then you'd be scratching your head wondering what the heck you were thinking back then..

Thanks for sharing the truth about the warm and welcoming Chinese people. This is why we choose to live in this part of the world (SE Asia)... for this very reason. Enjoy.
Great to see you so open to learning other languages! Yup, I can confirm that Mandarin is a tough language for English speakers to learn. We had a Mandarin class at my middle school which I took for one quarter and it was…definitely not enough to grasp the language. But I’ve gotten a whole lot better with it thanks to constant practice and research. Practice makes perfect, of course! Never give up! Your new catamaran looks wonderful! Your channel logo makes you stand out with its bright background (and in a way can symbolize how bright this channel is!) and to see that color on the catamaran, shows just how passionate you both are for this! It perfectly fits the boat of your dreams, and watching this is like seeing two kids on Christmas morning! Now that you’re in China, I hope you consider a trip (or an eventual one) to Hong Kong! It may all look like a city (quite the foodie city too!), but there IS a place that has to do with boats! The Aberdeen floating village. There, people live on 600 boats! And back in the 1980s, it had a population of 40,000 (and 150K in the 1960s)! English is an official language of Hong Kong so you’d have no problem finding someone to talk to you about the place. Some of these people who live on their boats drive and do sightseeing tours of the waterfront for tourists!
decades ago when I was station in Japan and sailed to different Asian countries I found the students learning English was always glad to try and help you it help them practice their English and loved talking with you
The Color is amazing, the boat looks amazing and you both are amazing!!! Wow!!!! is pretty much all I can say! Congratulations and thank you for taking us along as you first stepped on the boat! looking forward to learning more about the area you are in, and seeing the progress of the boat and of course the finished product!!! Enjoy the journey!!!
So happy for you both! Super cool to see the boat become a reality, and the genuine excitement in you both is infectious. PS, that colour is frigging awesome! Cheers, T
Beautiful boat! Can’t wait to see her launched. As a side note, did you realise when you were walking along the river, your handbag matched the boat!!! Soo happy for you both.
I don’t know why this is making me emotional ❤❤❤❤ soooooooo happy for you two!! 🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘😘😘😘 Wow I’d love to visit China. Thanks for showing us around a bit. Your boat looks so beautiful already. This was a great episode. So excited to see it nearing completion and I can’t wait to see it finished and to see you guys moved in and enjoying it!!! I hope you do an episode where you reflect on where you started to where you are - I know the NZ series touched on some of your life history but I’m keen to hear if present moment you was ever even on the radar for past you, if that makes sense. Love you both!! 😘😘😘
I spent a lot of time in Xiamen 10-12 years ago. Really loved it and made friends there. People who've never been to China won't understand until they go there.
Very happy for you guys. It will be great when you get on the water in your new boat and we see actual ship-handling under real world conditions. Of course, your destinations and adventures are something I look forward to also, being land locked as I am.
Watching them roll that beautiful boat out of the paint shed, I got teary eyed! Amazing how large it is. Was feeling more like a inter galactic spaceship. My soul perked up when you said "workshop" thinking "where would I put my lathe..." Hell of a lot of work to still be done, so well thought out, love the cupboard spaces everywhere. I am just so thrilled for y'all! I can only imagine how you're both feeling finally getting to see this catamaran in person, and with the Curiosity color no less! As you said, it's also so great to finally get a feel for the space (as you can never really tell from artist impressions). As someone once said, to have another language is to possess another soul. You're trying your best to learn something new, and that's what counts! Mandarin is the most spoken language in the world! Not to mention being able to speak more than one language gives you more opportunities! Xiamen has historically been so important when it comes to trade. Because of Qing treaties with foreign powers, Xiamen became a center for tea trade with hundreds of thousands of tons shipped yearly to Europe and the Americas. Today, Xiamen remains an important port! It is ranked the 8th-largest container port in China and ranks 17th in the world.
Ahh you are like Proud Parents. The whole process is very impressive. Really looking forward to seeing the transition to the finished product. Congratulations 🎉
Must admit I was Giddy waiting for this first peek at the new boat. Beautiful color. Great fun video. I’m so excited for you two …. And all of us watching. ❤️
I’m so happy and excited for you! I got teary with you…it’s hard to believe the blessings sometimes isn’t it? Can’t WAIT to see all the new adventures you will go on in that most stunning boat!!!❤❤❤
All the amazing things seen today were once invisible and only in the minds of those who through team work would manifest the visible. I have followed you since you visualized and manifested RV’s, then boats, travel, and adventure unbounded and becoming one of the top 4 (last time I checked) sailing videos on TH-cam. Which leads me to the point of this comment. You two are Masters of Manifesting. How do you do it and maintain it?? Do you do daily meditation? What do you read that inspires you? Do you journal and develop videos, blogs, etc. from the journal, like Emerson and so many others have done. Who are the historical people who have inspired you? These topics would probably not fit on this channel and right now you are so busy churning out success that you dont have time, or many the desire, to explain how you do it. But however, know that you inspire, entertain and make the lives of others better. I write this with a cup of coffee, in a rocking lawn chair, under the canopy of a Class A luxury motor home with a nice tow car and headed away from the Texas heat to spend a few weeks on the coast of Maine. I am a former “office worker” and still am. My office surrounding have changed a little. You had a hand in this! Jack
I'm so happy for you! :) THAT is my FAVORITE color. When they rolled that pretty baby out of the paint area into the sunlight I KNOW your heart skipped a beat. What a fun day for you- Congrats! I even envy your trip to China. I would love to tour it. I wonder how many times you will view this video yourselves before you actually take possession. Very very happy for you! Thank you always for posting.
I didn’t particularly like the colour, it looks great.. would be fade resistant because no strong pigments.. I would probably go a sliver if i had my choice.. with the roof in some contrasting colour that was highly visible from the air, (obviously between the panels) like a metallic orange, orange and silver go good together.. very modern..
@@blkrobnpk I definitely don’t hate it.. i do agree with you she looks great.. i was reading through the comments, because honestly I’ve no idea what brand of Cat she is? Because i prefer it over the Sea wind.. this just is simple a channel I don’t normally follow, even though i run a TH-cam sailing channel on Facebook.. didn’t mean to offend you at all.. kindest regards Trev..
So happy for you guys that all your hard work documenting your travels for years is paying off for a well-earned, well-built yacht! Love the story telling; love the hip-hop transition as the boat is coming out of the paint shop!
Imposter syndrome is such a humble sentiment. Here’s the thing, this is supposed to be your boat. You bring so much joy and adventure to your community you are blessed. Accept your blessings and stay humble, my wife and I love it. Oh that hull color✅
What an excellent day for Sailing content! GWTW and Tula both bringing dreams to life! Congratulations on the giddiness and excitement of starting a new set of adventures!
Is it weird that I've watched this episode 5 times already? So happy for you guys! Was watching the Multihull channel and the HH50 Synergy and they mentioned a few things they added especially how they're able to flush out the aircon pipes with sweet water to protect against growth and such. Can't wait for the next episode and hope that dishwasher works out ;)
Love, love ,love the colour. Up in Canada it’s called sea foam green. I had that colour in my kitchen once. I loved it. Congrats on your new boat. Also so sharp looking with the black trim and soon to be black framed windows. Awesome. 😊
Woot woot!!🙌 It was so fun coming along in video screen world to experience YOUR FIRST TIME seeing your new Curiosity boat! Congratulations to you both!!! They have mentioned possibly taking delivery of the boat in Cebu, but the Cebu factory is just now coming online and waiting for a build out of Cebu would've meant a crazy-long delay. Curious Minion

First, love the color. I believe you will start a rush to repaint boats. Second, that workshop ROCKS! As you were touring I was thinking, this has got to help with all the storage on the boat. Now all {?) spares in one area with the tools to work on them, not scattered in wherever they fit. No wonder you're excited.
If she wanted any item on that boad as bad as you want that dishwasher, she'd have it.. you DESERVE it.. stay strong.. Tell her that your next wife would let you have one
The color is amazing. Even moreso is the smoothness and gloss. The shots of scenery and background reflecting off the hulls show how much care was taken making the hull fair.
I love that they kept the Wynn color scheme, with the complementary yellow colored tape to go with the blue 😁 She is a spectacular boat! Can't wait to see when she goes!
It’s great to support your home country but it doesn’t mean others can’t or don’t make wonderful things. None of the catamarans are made in America. They are made in South Africa, Vietnam, Philippines, China, France, Netherlands…
What a big moment for you both! First time stepping on your boat. Your faces say it all- gratitude, excitement and pride🙌.
It was a big moment, thanks for being a part of it!

I absolutely LOVE the color, the size, everything about the boat! It’s absolutely stunning and I am officially 200% jealous 😂
I love the color! 🩵
I'm very happy for the two of you. Congratulations on seeing her in person and being able to go aboard. Thanks for sharing. 😊
I love, love, love the color. Thanks for sharing your new boat with us. Can't wait to see it finished. I'm so excited for you.
Awesome colour - great choice!
So happy for you both! Super cool to see the boat become a reality, and the genuine excitement in you both is infectious. PS, that colour is frigging awesome! Cheers, T
Awesome color. It reminds me some 50's cars.
Beautiful boat! Can’t wait to see her launched. As a side note, did you realise when you were walking along the river, your handbag matched the boat!!! Soo happy for you both.
I don’t know why this is making me emotional ❤❤❤❤ soooooooo happy for you two!! 🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘😘😘😘
Wow I’d love to visit China.
WOW … out of all the builds - La Vaga, Ruby Rose, Doodles … boat looks AMAZING! So happy for you both. Hats off to Seth! @thesailingfamily
HH seems to be well in front of both RR & Lavaga on style and build , amazing
Dont forget Tula's. They already launched..
More storage and a better layout overall than the HH52 forward cockpit. Nav seat is key
have you see Tally Ho's build? Now THAT is a classy boat.
One word…FAB U LOUS !!!
Very happy for you guys. It will be great when you get on the water in your new boat and we see actual ship-handling under real world conditions. Of course, your destinations and adventures are something I look forward to also, being land locked as I am.
Commie Catamaran Central. Love the color
REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING THE COMPLETE BOAT!
Your catamaran looks amazing. It's a standout example and will draw attention wherever you are.
Ahh you are like Proud Parents. The whole process is very impressive. Really looking forward to seeing the transition to the finished product. Congratulations 🎉
The color is amazingly beautiful.
Love it ❤ just beautiful color Tiffany blue with black is sweet
Must admit I was Giddy waiting for this first peek at the new boat. Beautiful color. Great fun video.
I’m so excited for you two …. And all of us watching. ❤️
LOVE IT! So happy for you two!
I’m so happy and excited for you! I got teary with you…it’s hard to believe the blessings sometimes isn’t it? Can’t WAIT to see all the new adventures you will go on in that most stunning boat!!!❤❤❤
Oh my gosh she is gorgeous!!!
Love the colour! Personally, I've always liked the combination of light blue and dark blue together. Have fun!
I'm sorry for asking probably told Several times.... What color again.... We like it
@@blkrobnpk I definitely don’t hate it.. i do agree with you she looks great.. i was reading through the comments, because honestly I’ve no idea what brand of Cat she is?
I LOVE the color!!!! It is perfect! It looks HAPPY! FYI- I vote FOR the dishwasher!LOL
What an excellent day for Sailing content! GWTW and Tula both bringing dreams to life! Congratulations on the giddiness and excitement of starting a new set of adventures!
Right! Those guys have had a very long wait, super excited to see them get their boat!!!!
Is it weird that I've watched this episode 5 times already? So happy for you guys! Was watching the Multihull channel and the HH50 Synergy and they mentioned a few things they added especially how they're able to flush out the aircon pipes with sweet water to protect against growth and such. Can't wait for the next episode and hope that dishwasher works out ;)
Yay! The boat tour was so much fun! So happy for the both of you!❤❤❤❤❤
Love, love ,love the colour. Up in Canada it’s called sea foam green. I had that colour in my kitchen once. I loved it. Congrats on your new boat. Also so sharp looking with the black trim and soon to be black framed windows. Awesome. 😊
All this talk of moments is taking me back to when I worked with a marine architect
Woot woot!!🙌 It was so fun coming along in video screen world to experience YOUR FIRST TIME seeing your new Curiosity boat! Congratulations to you both!!! We see your joy, excitement, and inner exhilaration that you are likely feeling as your long time in the making dream is manifesting into a beautiful & awe-inspiring home! We are are so happy for you!
Awe, you lovely ladies have been with us for so much of our journey and it’s soooo wonderful to have you here for this big moment. Dreams manifesting is the perfect description! 🥰
I thought your boat was being made in Cebu, Philippines?
They have mentioned possibly taking delivery of the boat in Cebu, but the Cebu factory is just now coming online and waiting for a build out of Cebu would've meant a crazy-long delay.
Curious Minion
@@gonewiththewynns Please post this information in the video explanation, so all the viewers can understand the complete situation about the change in production !!!
I guess i missed the episode of youre changing yards from philipine to china.
They have mentioned possibly taking delivery of the boat in the Philippines, but the Cebu factory is just coming online now. Building C2 in the Philippines wasn't an option at the time.

OMG, so excited!!!! SPLASH!!! SPLASH!!!! SPLASH!!!!!
厉害,来厦门了🎉欢迎🎉🎉
Where do they put the made in China sticker?
The color is pretty. I’m sure the inside will be just as beautiful.
The color is amazing. Even moreso is the smoothness and gloss. The shots of scenery and background reflecting off the hulls show how much care was taken making the hull fair.
Congratulations... But, China?
I’ve spent time in China you’ll regret getting a boat from there, Goodluck
Why made in China ?
Cheaper
It's better for the environment.
I love that they kept the Wynn color scheme, with the complementary yellow colored tape to go with the blue 😁 She is a spectacular boat! Can't wait to see when she goes!
Love, love, LOVE the colour ❤
I prefer all things Made in America.
It’s great to support your home country but it doesn’t mean others can’t or don’t make wonderful things. None of the catamarans are made in America. They are made in South Africa, Vietnam, Philippines, China, France, Netherlands…
And you chose China...
Made in China. Be concerned. Just saying
