      @@marcelvdberg I removed bed visualiser, its kind of pointless with the vyper (and Kobra Max) with them having fixed beds, and it has a bug that can affect custom controls among others..

    I will buy it just because of this video. I might buy two of them.

    Thanks for sharing your experience. Put a all metal hot-end on that baby. What temps does the hot-end and bed get up to?

    • @Just3DPrinting
      @Just3DPrinting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I Have not checked, but its a PTFE hotend so the usual 260 ish I am sure will apply without modding the FW.
      Theres not really a benefit to all metal until you exceed those temps, many people have much more problems with low temp filaments and all metal than PTFE lined, especially with the cheap china heat breaks.. It would apear genuine Slice Engineering Coperheads are the best by all accounts..

      In all honesty, my ender 3 max may as well go because theres little chance its ever going to really get used now.
      Its quite a shame really, I put an awful lot of time and money into making it a good printer and I was completely happy with it, but the simple truth is this thing blows it out of the water. Its bigger, and better right out of the box.
      Not much else you can say really.

    • @Just3DPrinting
      @Just3DPrinting  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      the printer profile or the settings profile...
      The answer to both is yes, use the vyper.. For the printer select vyper and change the build volume to 400 x 400 x450mm
      For the print settings, I use my vyper profile available on my facebook group, the only change I made was I increased the retractions speed a bit to 40mm/s I think it was..

    They probably split the bed up to avoid warping of that big bed. I think you might be able to add a flex bed or a Glas bed on it to get rid of those marks.

    • @Just3DPrinting
      @Just3DPrinting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Noooooo... its one solid glass bed, they have simply screen printed a stupid grid onto it.
      Where the printed lines are it shows on the bottom of the print, had there been ANY use for this grid at all there would maybe be some justification for completely ruining the absolutely perfect glass like bottom (or top if you were printing a box lid upside down) but the grid serves no useful purpose at all.
      Positioning the print is done in the slicer, so the grid on the bed does nothing in that regard, all it does is leave ugly lines in the print!
      Of course if you want a perfect base layer for a box lid for example you can flip the bed over and print on the reverse, but that will require gluestick or other adhesion aid, had they not printed that crap all over it then there would not be a problem to get around in the first place.

    I have a stupid question... I saw a video where the print stuck to the bed so hard it ripped off some of the actual bed when it eventually got removed!.. I have a Kobra Max coming in the next few days (can't wait :) ; and have seen the PEI plates 400x400 on Ali-Express... they say you can buy one with a magnetic base plate...so I am guessing you would have to glue that to the glass plate?... so the plate could grip to it and remove easily... or would literal clips just do the job?, without gluing anything to the glass plate.Ohh... almost forgot... LOVE THE CAT!!.. :) a few drops of clear resin in the eyes would really make it pop. That print alone just made my day. I saw below that you gave a link for it. It; for me at least is a must have, cheers!.

    • @Just3DPrinting
      @Just3DPrinting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The heated bed is bigger than 400 x 400 is first point, its actually 410w x430d
      I have had zero issues with print releasing, you can add a little gluestick to create a release barrier, matbe even as simple as rubbing glass with hands would fix it if it does stick too hard
      As for pei magbase..
      You could stick to glass, but it will reduce the heat that reaches the print surface, a better option us to remove the glass and stick magbase direct to the alumin heatplate..
      Pei is not easy to get i. 410 x 430, but you can find it with some hunting as a few people have posted about them

    • @Phodis
      @Phodis 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Just3DPrinting 410x430!!... wow really!!, that is awesome!. I think I might just use it with painters tape until I finally brave trying direct contact with the glass then. I just realized that the glass bed is a standard spare part anyway... sometimes I look at the worst possible scenario and focus only on that. It arrives today :) Can't wait to build something!. Thank you for getting back to me. Liked and subbed.

    No more innovation with these FDM machines - endless CR-10/Ender 3 copies. This is basically a tarted up Chiron.

    • @Just3DPrinting
      @Just3DPrinting  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No its not, its the same frame style ie a bed slinger, that does not make it a copy of another bed slinger..
      Its a different frame, stronger, better, its a different mainboard with UART, its a diffferent screen, a different hotend, different levelling, different carriage, different cooling..
      Saying its a tarted up Chiron is like saying a Voron is a tarted up Tronxi X5.

    First time I have ever seen a 3D Printer review on a real bed. Seems like there is a lot walking around with pointing and talking. Didn’t show how it was built, or showing it printing? You complained about the noise of the PSU fans, yet you couldn’t even plug it in for your viewers to hear it? Think there wasn’t much effort put into this review, sorry

    • @LouisePaisleyUK
      @LouisePaisleyUK ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am not a pro youtube channel., i created the channel just to help users with a few videos and shared my thoughts on this printer.
      However, its honest, unlike nearly every other 'pro' review , such as those for the kobra direct drive (Which i know for an absolute fact thar LOTS of pro reviewers had LOTS of serious issues with and made no disclosures of) becauss i have no expectation of, or wish for the entire range of new resin printers, both fdm printers, free resin and filament which was sent to reviewers that lied and said the printer worked great out of the box.
      So while you might enjoy 'pro' reviews, what you are getting is not a review it is a bought and paid for advertisement...
