They performed from 1958 till 2003 when Maurice (right) died. Robin (left) died in 2012, but Barry, middle, the older brother, is still alive and still married to his wife, Linda, since Sept. 1970. They wrote over 1,000 songs for themselves and some of the best voices of 3 decades. 100 top 10s. This song's royalties were donated to the UNICEF Children's charity forever...close to $15 million so far. These 3 brothers used to sing in their bedroom as youngsters and their mother thought they accidentally left the radio on! She opened the door to turn the radio off and saw that it was her sons; 6 year old Barry and the twins were only 3 singing in perfect harmony!! They were born with a gift just like Mozart or Beethoven!!

Their music spanned Five decades - in the 70’s they went in hard on the R&B , Soul , Disco and were the biggest band on the planet the 2nd half of the 70’s breaking countless records in the industry. Checkout another soulful classic ballad by them “HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE”

They started singing together when they were children. They're little brother Andy Gibb was an amazing solo artist.
Today (March 10) is the 35th anniversary of their youngest brother Andy Gibb’s death. RIP ANDY!!! You are surely missed!!!

These brothers are the kings of harmony. They sang together from the time they were young children and wrote and performed their own songs from the time Barry the eldest was 12 and he wrote his first song. All three and their much younger brother Andy who was 12 years younger than Barry were all accomplished singer/songwriter. They take turns at singing lead and all habe very different but equally amazing voices. One of their earlier album producers said when he first met them they were singing around one microphone and were like they had one mind the way they moved and sang in unison.

They are brothers like @tubularguynine said. Barry is the oldest in middle with his twin brothers, Maurice and Robin. They had a legend singer too . Their youngest brother named Andy. I hoped it’s the right name. So, there is my suggestion: listen to The Righteous Brothers in Unchained Melody.
Check out "Alone", "For Whom The Bell Tolls", "Fanny (Be Tender With My Love)", "You Win Again", all by the Bee Gees. They just never wrote a bad song, and they wrote and produced all their own music, and wrote for many other artists. On top of that, they never had a music lesson, and didn't read or write music, and; they taught themselves how to play many musical instruments. It's all natural talent.

As a music lover, I'm sad to say I dismissed the vast talent of Barry Gibb and crew until a few years ago. Silly, because they are a monumental talent, and I'm glad I woke up. Bias can be a toxic thing.

You like a group that has cohesive harmony, there is none better than PENTATONIX. No instruments needed---they make their own music with their voices. They do covers and originals--their fanbase called PENTAHOLICS call them upgrades vs covers. Check out their cover of "The Prayer" and "Hallelujah." Hallelujah just passed 700,000,000 views. Their live renditions sound just like the studio. There is five in the group. Scott, Mitch and Kirstin all went to middle and high school together. Scott is the baritone and also sings bass when Matt (the bass) sings a solo part. Avi (the first base) left the group to start a solo career. Mitch is the countertenor. His voice is angelic. Kirstin is a mezzo-soprano. Last, but not least is Kevin the beatboxer. His voice is also amazing. He also plays the cello and beatboxes together called cello-boxing.

ohhhh friend, your crazy reaction to so much talent of the brothers made me smile and your approach to what they are capable of doing made my day as happy as you when listening to them, several things should be noted, this video was recorded live in 1 Take and the song was written in one afternoon, the rights were donated in perpetuity to UNICEF and until today it has raised more than 12 million dollars, when Barry in the middle was 9 years old and the twins Robin and Maurice were 6 singing and people believed that It was a song on the radio but it was them harmonizing, that's why they harmonized so perfectly, Barry discovered his falsetto by chance because his manager wanted someone who would shout in the new songs and Barry opened his mouth and from there came the best falsetto in history, The three of them could sing in falsetto and normally, they continue to discover the world of the Bee Gees and I think you will agree that they will forever be the best group that ever existed. They wrote more than 1000 songs for them and many famous singers, in addition to making all the musical arrangements. I was married one year (1977) before this was released in 1978. This would have been in my wedding too, but with them singing, at the reception. Love, love, love the Bee Gees. I am a black female, 68 yrs old, grew up with them. (A bit lengthy, but a must read.) The Bees Gees: (from left to right) Robin, Barry and Maurice (pronounced Morris) Robin (Dec 22, 1949 - May 20, 2012) passed away as a result of kidney failure. Maurice (Dec 22, 1949 - Jan. 12, 2003.) Passed as a result of a twisted intestine. He was in the
hospital for 2 days. Barry said he had a heart attack, but the doctors still operated. Maurice and Robin were fraternal twins.
Andy Gibb, the youngest brother, had his own successful career. He was 12 yrs younger than Barry. He and Barry looked so much alike, that they could had been twins. Andy passed away in 1988, at the age of 30. Lived a lifestyle involving drugs, and he had heart problems. The brothers wrote all of his songs. Barry (middle) stated, "I am the last man standing." He was born September 1, 1946. He has 5 adult children and 7 grandkids. On September 1, 2022, he and his wife Linda celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. (They were married on his 24th birthday.) On a side note, the first born is their sister, Lesley, who was 78, January 12, 2023. Lesley didn't have an interest to be in the limelight, but she can sing. They wrote all of their songs, and songs for other singers, which they sang after the songs were released for the other singers. The brothers have a VERY IMPRESSIVE catalogue of songs!
