The reason the Tiger grabbed Roy is simply because wild animals are not domesticated and can never be tamed. They are unpredictable and Roy always knew that.

Nah. You are just projecting your opinion on an animal's behavior. The white tiger is a wild animal that has been 'trained' but not 'tamed''. Tigers kill other animals in the wild and those instincts cannot be 'trained' away.

He worked with dangerous animals, but he KNEW the risks. He likely defended the tiger because he wanted to protect his pet. It's not the tiger's fault and I'm glad Montecore didn't have to suffer for it. He was a TIGER afterall

I met Robin Roberts in an airport ~ 5 years ago. I recognized her and yelled out her name. I hugged her and Robin is the most delightful, humble, kind, sweetest woman there is to be found. Robin Roberts is a national treasure!

These animals are meant to live in the wild not in captivity.
You can always take an animal out of the wild,. However they always retain that instinct, you can never truly tame an animal like this.
The answer to why Montecore attacked is obvious. The tiger was sick of Roy.

Training a wild animal to do tricks , is one thing taming it is something , else even a dog. Can’t tame what’s meant to be wild. I still look at a domestic dog as a wild animal , you have even known them to turn on the owners. I guess that’s the reason I’ve never been mauled. I keep that in mind always.
I look at humans as wild animals too.
I don't think wild animals should be anywhere else BUT THE WILD ‼️I do know that S & R had neither any ill intent, nor were their animals mistreated tho...& STILL, on THAT stage & at THAT moment, if u ever watch... the tiger didn't "ATTACK" or "maul" ‼️he was dragging him away in a defensive position, but unfortunately he WAS HURT 💔

Tiger tired Roy fell tiger wanted to go home in cage and took Roy with him. One thing I don't understand is when a cat picks up their cub by the neck they don't puncture the skin, why did the tiger puncture Roy's skin?
Because only female tigers pick up baby cubs by the neck…and, the female or the cubs Mom knows how much or little pressure to use so as to not puncture. Montecore was a 7 year old male - therefore doesn’t know how to pick up a baby cub.

Because cats have loose skin & the mother picks them up that way. Humans don’t have that loose skin around their necks. their skin is much less tougher than the cats.

While I agree with you, the sad fact is that these animals will disappear from this earth if the only populations are "in the wild". Too much poaching, deforestation, and human encroachment. So we're left with the moral dilemma of letting these animals slip into extinction or keep them locked in pens.
"Locked in pens" is not a life worth living for the animal. We've screwed things up so badly that there may be nothing left but to say fond farewell. A huge game preserve might keep them hanging on but it would have to have live prey that they can hunt. Ten thousand acres sounds about right. Dreaming, right? I watch this GMA video even though siegfried.and.roy have passed away not here to say what happened I believe that Roy did have a stroke a multi-core was doing what he believed to do take him to safety I never got to see them I wish I did I only have the memories of seeing them on TV and on TH-cam I know they both are in heaven with my family my friends and my pets and their tigers and exotic pets have made friends with my pets I only hope that when my time comes that I will be welcomed in heaven be able to see my family and everyone that I knew and have never got the chance to meet or have met for short time before they have passed away even if it's just for a brief moment I just want to be able to tell my family and everyone how much I miss them how much I long to be with them and I hope that God will welcome me into heaven there's a saying that a friend told me that her husband always used to say before he passed away it goes heaven doesn't want me and hell is afraid I will take over it's just a saying that her husband used to say I know that he is in heaven to all of everyone out there who have lost family friends pets or someone they have come to meet and only known for a short time I hope that all of you I'm living the best life that you can live and holding on to those great memories as I am doing until I meet everyone again the memories are all I have to everyone out there who reads this comment I hope in some way it helps and please be safe I stay healthy I hope everyone has a blessed day and a wonderful day and every day from there after may all your days be filled with sunshine and wonderful memories
Where did this tiger get his medical degree that he could diagnose Roy as having a stroke? Truth is that Roy looked tasty. Don't believe that? Just ask Siegfried.
Trained or not they will act on their base instincts, all that's needed is the right (or wrong depending on how you look at it) trigger.

The footage did or does exist. The duo recorded all of their performances. If you believe the reports, Steve Wynn once had the footage and he may or may not have destroyed the footage or gave it to someone else. Who knows who to believe, right? But I'l bet anything there was footage because of course they recorded every single show for themselves so they could critique their shows and try to do better for the next show
