Siegfried Fischbacher met Roy Horn for the first time when he helped Siegfried perform "magic" on a cruise. After Roy showed Siegfried the cheetah he had snuck onboard, the cat joined the act.

In 1996, shortly after we arrived in Vegas, we went to the Mirage to see if we could get tickets for
next days show. The lady at the ticket desk told us she had very good tickets for the show that
started within half an hour. Only 2 tickets that were returned. Very very good tickets...
We decided to take them. We sat front row and watched the tiger cubs walk by at 4 foot distance. An unforgettable experience.

Edit: The question "How does it work?" IS 3 words in German! So it is indeed just a translation thing.

They have a fascinating Story.
RIP Roy. A very special man who adored his animals. Even fought through the accident that ended his career and I do believe it was an accident. He tripped and Mantecore simply did what a mother tiger would do and that is picked him up by the neck and tried to carry him to safety. A huge cat would not understand why he could not do that because we have skin and not fur. If that cat had intended to kill him he would have done in seconds. Total respect to this amazing man ❤❤❤

Met Roy when I went to see his show, it was so funny as I said, hi Roy, I'm Roy, and got a personalized autograph from him. No doubt the tiger loved him and thought it was helping him, but those kitties unfortunately don't realize their own strength.

How admirable; they prospered by decades of neglect and cruelty to animals. Ask yourself how it was for animals meant to be in the jungle, moving freely, many miles a day.
