I'm super shocked about the customer service issue. I lost one of the drain trays during the hurricane. Totally my fault, I left it out. I called them a few days after and they shipped it for free and were so sweet on the phone. I got the replacement part within a week *but we couldn't get mail for 5 days because of the flood waters*

I have to say I’ve had great customer service. We had a tree fall directly on one of my towers. Destroyed it. Through no fault of theirs but they still replaced my tower. Since then I have purchased more. I find them to be a stand up company.

Don't forget to snap the water container to the top. It attaches just like the other containers.

I’m having fun with my greenstalks. I have a couple leaf’s for strawberries and I set up a original this spring and have it full of squash, herbs and green onions. I’m in the south too and water until I see water coming out of the bottom and then continue to fill up the watering reservoir to the top and call it good. Seems to be evenly watering throughout. I’m probably getting a couple more before the year is over. I’m in a suburban area with limited space so appreciate being able to grow vertically.

I've used my GreenStalk planters for 3 years and love them. Three tips: 1. Don't push the gray disk into the potting mixand leave it in contact with the mix . Make sure there is some air space under the watering disk or fungus will grow under it on the dirt. 2. I prefer to hand water the pockets. I can control the water amount needed and is distributed more evenly and faster than standing there trying to fill the water reservoir. 3. Fill the tubs to the top with potting mix. The mix will settle when watered. My sister loves Red Robin tomatoes, so I'm going to try them in the GreenStalk next year. Haven't grown dwarf tomatoes in my GreenStalks and am looking forward to seeing how your tomato plants do.
First year, I used Kelloggs brand potting mix, not potting soil, in the planters, and my veggies would not grow. The mix became very hard in the planters. Same thing happened in my grow bags. When I dumped out the potting mix, I had to use a mallet to break it up. This year, I made my own potting mix with organic peat moss, perlite and other organic amendments. So far, have had a successful growing season.

@@j.e.7028 Here's an update for this spring 2024 season. I am growing brassicas (cauliflower, broccoli, red cabbage), lettuces, carrots, green beans, dwarf peas, kohlrabi, basil and other veggies in my 4 GreenStalk planters. Decided not to grow tomatoes in the planters. I am using 10-gallon potato grow bags for my indeterminate tomato plants, because the width is 13" and depth is 16". Much more room for root growth. Got the potato grow bags on Amazon.

I have two GreenStalks (one regular and one Leaf) and this is the first year I'm growing dwarf tomatoes in the regular size. I did put the dwarf tomatoes near the bottom and I did buy a plant ring support. Everything is growing great! I'm so surprised about your customer service experience. I have had nothing but prompt emails and texts and shipping has been nearly instant! Local family run Tennessee company. The video information really helps put them together and they do a great job with trouble shooting. Call again.

Just got mine this year and I love them. Great for bush beans. Best tip I got for deep south greenstalks is to first remove the top watering container and water thoroughly and replace the top container and water again for deep watering. They dry out quickly here. Have had no problems.

I planted all three varieties of the little birdie series. Some in the Greenstalk and some small pots. The ones in the small pots did much better and the ones in the green stalk seem to have been a little cramped in the pockets. I trimmed them back after the first fruit, and they are starting to bloom again with a second crop. The leaf miners have been relentless on these little tomato plants in Central Florida.

I have 30 bush green bean plants in my GreenStalk right now. I’ve harvested 3 pounds of green beans from them so far, and counting. I anticipate getting at least another pound from them. I have another GreenStalk that I need to get soil to fill. I plan to put Tom Thumb dwarf peas in them in early spring and in fall, and green beans in warmer weather. I have micro tomato plants growing in hydroponics and raised beds. If I had another GreenStalk I full of soil I’d plant a bunch in that, too. I’ve grown them successfully in the stacking planters from Dollar Tree.

Nice, I love mine I have 2 now. I'm not sure but it looked like your top one wasn't lined up. I could be wrong, but it should snap on to the green stalk as well. there's one way to tell you have little holes in each revisor and they should line up with each pocket. Not telling you what to do by any means just want to make sure its set up right, for a good healthy start on your tomato. I have orange hat tomato plants in all my top pockets seems to be working good so far.
