The EDP is my favorite because it lasts the longest and it projects just enough to where I get lots of compliments. Parfum is my second favorite for when I want to tone it down and not draw as much attention to myself.

Just got the eros parfum...200ml for $120. Amazing fragrance...I enjoy the Eros line so much I have all three greens and a bottle of Flame. The parfum definitely smells "richer" and maybe "heavier" than the EDT and EDP. The differences are subtle, but I notice them. It remains a very "loud" fragrance like the others in the line. Glad I bought it!

@@rottenrebels I do agree the EDP is the Goldilocks of the line and is my most frequent wear. With the parfum, I am just happy to see another flanker of Eros and done in a splendid and potent way (the sale price didn't hurt either--$120 for 200ml). Everyone's body chemistry and nose is little different and I instantly noticed the luxury of the parfum as well as what is different from the other two versions. That was a positive for me. I think that is a feature, not a bug. Eros EDT is so shockingly fragrant and vibrant, it's easy to expect even more from a flanker. The parfum, as you stated, goes in a bit of a different direction. A lovely one in my opinion. I am pleased to be in possession of and wearing a wonderful and classy line of fragrances and enjoy it in all its permutations. I will be making a small decant of all three of the green Eros in one sprayer to test that combination of power house scents and subtle notes. How long does it last on your skin? I bought the parfum also but its only been on my skin for about 3 hours und no one notices im wearing parfum @@. I bought that on Flaconi so not sure if that parfum is fake . But 3 hours and smell not at all. Omg 😢

Great Breakdown! I went to Macys, had the EDT on my left arm and EDP on my right arm for most of the day and what i got was that the EDP was projecting for a longer time than the EDT; the dry down was elegant but a bit too robust for me; i really came to appreciate the sweetness and more calming EDT dry down on my left arm; only thing is that the projection of the EDT was less intense and would have to reapply next time compared to the EDP that was still projecting after 6 hours i wanted to exchange my edt for EDP yesterday but ended up staying with the EDT also having no recollection of how long the fragrance has been out; New doesn’t always mean better but i really came to appreciate the EDT

The perfume would probably last the longest which is the most important thing to me which means i paid the more / the most , but I’m spraying less and lasting longer
I was lucky to find and all of them in the nearest store. Edp and parfum version have the smoothest opening so far. But edt has the best dry down. I found the edp and parfum have a strong woody/leathery note and the edt not so much. And i like the vanilla more in the edt version.

Part of what makes the original EdT so good though is that it's so "intense".. So they all have something nice about them, all smell great and it's really just a matter of what a person enjoys the most in a scent 😊
Hi Victor! I like them all, but there's definitely a certain kind of smoothness and something a bit more mature over the edp and parfum compared to the edt. I feel the EdP sits sort of between the 3, with some of the good bits from the EdT and some from the parfum without going too much into either. Please do share how you like it and how you compare it to the edt if you end up buying it.
I have a bottle of the reformulated EDT and while the opening notes are still awesome it just doesn’t perform long enough. I can still get subtle notes on clothing a day after however the actual projection and compliments only last as long as your typical cheap but not a cheapie kind of cologne like a nice polo. Def EDP for the win here.

They don’t work very well on my skin, but I love to get a whiff of them at the gym. I’m a bigger fan of the edt. But I’m biased because I have a weakness for sweeter fragrances.

All smell good 😊 yeah the EDT or the EdP are definitely leaning more towards something a bit fresher than the Parfum making them a bit more suitable for the gym 👍👌😊 The scent trail of the them all is wicked 👌
I tested the Parfum and EDT. It is has a really familiar opening (not the same, but you know they are eros). The EDT proyects a loot more and is more sweet. I think that they are for different situations, Parfum is more sutile, minty and woody in the drydown a good scent no doubt but is for a privacy and low-key mood, like a diner date with your gf or your friends, I think anyone can daily and nobody will get clogged with it. EDT is loud, you can smell it from a meter away for a solid 5 hours, it is minty but with a strong but masculine sweetenes behind, not woody, but more an herbal vibe. It is for a more extrovert context I think, like going to a party, taking a walk with your date, go for some drinks, you can even daily but spect to be smelled and i personally will avoid being in too closed spaces, like a bus or a plane, but in a library/college you will have no problem if you go easy on the sprays. :)
I just got back from purchasing my EDP version of Eros. I haven't opened it yet but tried it in the store in the past. I like the EDP as well, so I agree with @Rotten Rebel. All of my assumptions before opening this video were confirmed to be true by the reviews. The EDT version definitely seems more bright and loud - I attribute that to the citrus opening being straight lemon instead of the candy apple. I'm a sucker for candy apple flavors, green or red...so I was definitely leaning toward the EDP from the get go. All of the other differences were also up my alley - overall just a safe purchase. Thought you might be glad to know that you were the very last video I watched before I went to the dept. store haha 😁

I usually do prefer EDP's because it's a mixture of both the Parfum and EDT like you said and also because it just stays on my skin longer than an EDT for long work shifts. Never have to reapply it just stays on the whole day - super happy with my purchase! It's hard to find a freshie that can beat or even compete with Eros...but if I had to choose one, I think Prada Luna Rossa Ocean is on this level ;) what do you think? I have smelled JPG Le Beau and I just didn't think it was as dynamic as Eros so it was an easy choice for me
@@jasond6267 Ocean is really nice as well.. There are a lot of freshies that are good though with different scent profiles 😊 I love le beau for a dose of sweet freshness! Hard to find good scents with coconut and that one is one of the best. It's not as multifaceted as Eros EDP though which has more layers to it 😊
From my research the parfum has a highest concentration of scents, the EDT has a lowest concentration and the EDP is in the middle. Kind of confused how the perform falls flat compared tothe edp if it has the highest concentration. I may get the EDP because it’s in the middle and it’s not too harsh. But I am kind of curious to get the parfum because I like how, it’s spicier. I don’t know.
Nice review guys! I live in a warmer climate so I own the EDT concentration and works great on my skin. I typically wear it going out. Keep up the great content!
EDT is the best, even though it has been reformulated. If you’re worried about the performance, just carry a decant around and re spray after a few hours. It’s worth it, it’s that good. EDP is missing something, I think it has less mint.
I’m completely with you on this one guys, all great fragrances that all strongly focus on the same DNA but do it in different ways. In my opinion, if you’re wearing Eros everyone’s going to know and love it regardless of which one, and it’s down to personal preference. It’s the EDP for me because of the performance works better and I find it slightly more versatile but I would happily wear any even at the age of 17. Second for me would also be the EDT followed by the parfum which is still good, just the worst out of 3 amazing fragrances.
@@icureboredom4282 I’m no connoisseur when it comes to fragrance but imo I’d say edt and edp are very similar, just with the edp having amped up performance in comparison to the edt. The edt still has good performance but the edp is an absolute beast. I’d go for the edp if you are happy to spend a bit more to get that crazy performance as edt has been reformulated but price value, the edt I believe is better value. At the age of 16 all of the Eros versions will be suitable as it’s extremely youthful!

I first bought the EDP. I was surprised at how unique it smells. I like the smoothness, but that candy apple is very pronounced and I believe somewhat divisive. Based on the EDP, I actually wondered how Eros became so popular. I’m still on the fence about it, although it’s grown on me…. I just got a sample of the EDT and now understand the popularity. I think I like it better for not having such a cloying apple note. I believe I’d wear it much more. Definitely more versatile. If only the EDP retained the balance of citrus to apple!

Eros is better fall winter. The EDP would definitely been the king but Versace missed it big time. Not that the EDP is bad I love it. But it would have walked off left the EDT if Versace had left the “Mint” or as strong of a mint as the EDT has. That’s what the EDP is missing. The opening is Awsome and when u get to the dry down the Mint is missing it’s either weak or not there.
To be honest I’m struggling to notice much of a differences between the edt and edp. The completionist in me tells me to pull the trigger on the parfum, but seeing that one is also very similar with a even steeper pricetag I think I’ll pass. Was hoping for an even bigger departure from original, kind of like what sauvage elixir did for the sauvage line.
Hi Andreas! Thanks for sharing! Like I mention in the video, the EdP almost seems like the bridge between Eros Edt and Eros Parfum. With the Parfum being the one that deviates the most from the original. While there's no "sauvage elixir"-like change from the edt to the parfum, I do feel that they did change things quite a bit with the Parfum. For a smoother, "darker" and more "mature" vibe the Parfum is definitely the one. 👍 And the EdP to me is the PERFECT blend between them all. But this versus was hard because the different openings vs dry downs all had their good vs better sides if that makes sense 😉
I began my fragrance collection with a 1.7oz bottle of Eros EDT and bought an EDP to replace it after quickly going through the 1.7oz bottle. I use Eros for nights out, and I like the EDT better because it projects more and get more attention with it. Despite those in the fragrance community advising against using Eros due to it being extremely common, it and Club de Nuit Intense Man have given me better results than every other fragrance I own. Only fragrance that has come close is Angel’s Share, but it hasn’t been tested as much as Eros/CDNIM since I don’t go out anymore, and Angel’s Share is MUCH more expensive than them, like almost 5x more.

Hi! As you can see in the comments people choose one over the other for different reasons.. There's no clear-cut "winner" here. But What I've noticed though is that people who usually prefer the EDT have an easier time to gravitate towards the edp than the parfum and vice versa. And those who truly love (and only want) what makes the edt what it is are missing that in the other two and those who thought the EdT was way to intense or less well-blended prefer the edp. I like all of them and I do enjoy the differences between them, even though I lean more towards the edp and the edt nowadays. 😊 Please do share which one you end up with and which you prefer of them all 😊🙏👌

It sounds different on paper and on the body with clothes. In EDT, sweetness appears later, tartness appears first. EDP has sweetness first and then tartness.

Hi! I have not compared performance of any potential reformulations so I don't know. Based on feedback from subscribers, some feel it's be reformulated and that it's weaker, but I also get comments from time to time on that it's still a good performing scent. So really not sure 🤷🏽♂️ Maybe just try it before you buy it and see how it develops?
Hope the versace don't change the OG the simplicity but elagance of the fragrance is very special it's just they make a smoother edp or parfum but not better on edt.

Hi Carlito! Hope all is well! Yesterday I FINALLY tried out a newer batch that a friend bought (opened for about 2 weeks) borrowed it for a day and it seems to perform fairly similar to my own older bottle. This does not mean anything really but based on these 2 I do not feel the newer out of the two had bad performance. Can't comment on origin, batch, etc since I did not check that on his bottle, but he bought and opening it about 2 weeks ago.

Personally the intense fruityness of both the edt and edp are almost sickening, however i enjoy eros parfum because its smooth, pleasant, and even a bit appetizing.
There’s just something about the EDT that draws me to it. The EDP is more mild, but the EDT gives me what I want 👍 EDP smells good, but the edt is on another level 😭💙 EDP is missing something…

I got my 200ml bottle EDT at good bargain, I enjoying it.

I wonder if they compared the old EDT or the new EDT? When Versace released the EDP, they reformulated the EDT and made it much weaker!
I think I bought my latest bottle of the EDT last year.. if that helps.

I tested the Parfum and EDT. It is has a really familiar opening (not the same, but you know they are eros). The EDT proyects a loot more and is more sweet. I think that they are for different situations, Parfum is more sutile, minty and woody in the drydown a good scent no doubt but is for a privacy and low-key mood, like a diner date with your gf or your friends, I think anyone can daily and nobody will get clogged with it. EDT is loud, you can smell it from a meter away for a solid 5 hours, it is minty but with a strong but masculine sweetenes behind, not woody, but more an herbal vibe. It is for a more extrovert context I think, like going to a party, taking a walk with your date, go for some drinks, you can even daily but spect to be smelled and i personally will avoid being in too closed spaces, like a bus or a plane, but in a library/college you will have no problem if you go easy on the sprays. :)
I just got back from purchasing my EDP version of Eros. I haven't opened it yet but tried it in the store in the past. I like the EDP as well, so I agree with @Rotten Rebel. All of my assumptions before opening this video were confirmed to be true by the reviews. The EDT version definitely seems more bright and loud - I attribute that to the citrus opening being straight lemon instead of the candy apple. I'm a sucker for candy apple flavors, green or red...so I was definitely leaning toward the EDP from the get go. All of the other differences were also up my alley - overall just a safe purchase. Thought you might be glad to know that you were the very last video I watched before I went to the dept. store haha 😁

I usually do prefer EDP's because it's a mixture of both the Parfum and EDT like you said and also because it just stays on my skin longer than an EDT for long work shifts. Never have to reapply it just stays on the whole day - super happy with my purchase! It's hard to find a freshie that can beat or even compete with Eros...but if I had to choose one, I think Prada Luna Rossa Ocean is on this level ;) what do you think? I have smelled JPG Le Beau and I just didn't think it was as dynamic as Eros so it was an easy choice for me
@@jasond6267 Ocean is really nice as well.. There are a lot of freshies that are good though with different scent profiles 😊 I love le beau for a dose of sweet freshness! Hard to find good scents with coconut and that one is one of the best. It's not as multifaceted as Eros EDP though which has more layers to it 😊
I skipped the EDT and went for the EDP. I love the EDP. Love the mint. Nice n fresh. Office safe. Haven't tried the Parfum.
I ordered samples of all 3 and agree with this review, the EDT my favorite for sure with the EDP and Parfum tied.
They say the perfume is much more lasting. I used edp and unfortunately it is not permanent
From my research the parfum has a highest concentration of scents, the EDT has a lowest concentration and the EDP is in the middle. Kind of confused how the perform falls flat compared tothe edp if it has the highest concentration. I may get the EDP because it’s in the middle and it’s not too harsh. But I am kind of curious to get the parfum because I like how, it’s spicier. I don’t know.
Nice review guys! I live in a warmer climate so I own the EDT concentration and works great on my skin. I typically wear it going out. Keep up the great content!

EDT is not always the way for hot weather, with higher alcohol concentrations it projects more.

EDT is the best, even though it has been reformulated. If you’re worried about the performance, just carry a decant around and re spray after a few hours. It’s worth it, it’s that good. EDP is missing something, I think it has less mint.

I’m completely with you on this one guys, all great fragrances that all strongly focus on the same DNA but do it in different ways. In my opinion, if you’re wearing Eros everyone’s going to know and love it regardless of which one, and it’s down to personal preference. It’s the EDP for me because of the performance works better and I find it slightly more versatile but I would happily wear any even at the age of 17. Second for me would also be the EDT followed by the parfum which is still good, just the worst out of 3 amazing fragrances.

@@icureboredom4282 I’m no connoisseur when it comes to fragrance but imo I’d say edt and edp are very similar, just with the edp having amped up performance in comparison to the edt. The edt still has good performance but the edp is an absolute beast. I’d go for the edp if you are happy to spend a bit more to get that crazy performance as edt has been reformulated but price value, the edt I believe is better value. At the age of 16 all of the Eros versions will be suitable as it’s extremely youthful!

I first bought the EDP. I was surprised at how unique it smells. I like the smoothness, but that candy apple is very pronounced and I believe somewhat divisive. Based on the EDP, I actually wondered how Eros became so popular. I’m still on the fence about it, although it’s grown on me…. I just got a sample of the EDT and now understand the popularity. I think I like it better for not having such a cloying apple note. I believe I’d wear it much more. Definitely more versatile. If only the EDP retained the balance of citrus to apple!
I have all three and I get the most compliments with the EDP.
@@johnjenkins777 Please disregard my comment. I’ve since sampled the edp at Macy’s and now believe the edp I purchased from eBay is a fake. It really smells unusual. there’s some strange note that’s different and I just assumed it was the candy apple.

However, the first thing which happened (i.e. regarding Eros EDT) was a very young girl, I'd guess 12 or 13, really staring at me. I'm 48, hence, a bit uncomfortable for a moment. 🤔🙃
Eros is better fall winter. The EDP would definitely been the king but Versace missed it big time. Not that the EDP is bad I love it. But it would have walked off left the EDT if Versace had left the “Mint” or as strong of a mint as the EDT has. That’s what the EDP is missing. The opening is Awsome and when u get to the dry
down the Mint is missing it’s either weak or not there.

To be honest I’m struggling to notice much of a differences between the edt and edp. The completionist in me tells me to pull the trigger on the parfum, but seeing that one is also very similar with a even steeper pricetag I think I’ll pass. Was hoping for an even bigger departure from original, kind of like what sauvage elixir did for the sauvage line.
Hi Andreas! Thanks for sharing! Like I mention in the video, the EdP almost seems like the bridge between Eros Edt and Eros Parfum. With the Parfum being the one that deviates the most from the original.
While there's no "sauvage elixir"-like change from the edt to the parfum, I do feel that they did change things quite a bit with the Parfum. For a smoother, "darker" and more "mature" vibe the Parfum is definitely the one. 👍
And the EdP to me is the PERFECT blend between them all. But this versus was hard because the different openings vs dry downs all had their good vs better sides if that makes sense 😉

I began my fragrance collection with a 1.7oz bottle of Eros EDT and bought an EDP to replace it after quickly going through the 1.7oz bottle. I use Eros for nights out, and I like the EDT better because it projects more and get more attention with it.
Despite those in the fragrance community advising against using Eros due to it being extremely common, it and Club de Nuit Intense Man have given me better results than every other fragrance I own. Only fragrance that has come close is Angel’s Share, but it hasn’t been tested as much as Eros/CDNIM since I don’t go out anymore, and Angel’s Share is MUCH more expensive than them, like almost 5x more.
So Parfum is the best? 😂 subjective But in your opinion

Hi! As you can see in the comments people choose one over the other for different reasons.. There's no clear-cut "winner" here. But What I've noticed though is that people who usually prefer the EDT have an easier time to gravitate towards the edp than the parfum and vice versa. And those who truly love (and only want) what makes the edt what it is are missing that in the other two and those who thought the EdT was way to intense or less well-blended prefer the edp.
I like all of them and I do enjoy the differences between them, even though I lean more towards the edp and the edt nowadays. 😊

Newer EDT batches are performing terrible and weak.
Think twice before going for the EDT, yes it starts off super strong but only lasts like 1hr.
I have not done a comparison between the performance of older and newer Versace Eros EDT. Might check it out later on

It sounds different on paper and on the body with clothes.
In EDT, sweetness appears later, tartness appears first. EDP has sweetness first and then tartness.

Hi! I have not compared performance of any potential reformulations so I don't know. Based on feedback from subscribers, some feel it's be reformulated and that it's weaker, but I also get comments from time to time on that it's still a good performing scent. So really not sure 🤷🏽♂️ Maybe just try it before you buy it and see how it develops?

Hi Carlito! Hope all is well! Yesterday I FINALLY tried out a newer batch that a friend bought (opened for about 2 weeks) borrowed it for a day and it seems to perform fairly similar to my own older bottle.
This does not mean anything really but based on these 2 I do not feel the newer out of the two had bad performance.
Can't comment on origin, batch, etc since I did not check that on his bottle, but he bought and opening it about 2 weeks ago.

@@mountanarivera4450 that depends on the batch of edt you have, because when they reformulated it it lost a lot of projection, if you buy today the edp has better projection than the edt.
