Technically I can plug in just the usb-c cable in my laptop (data + power) while having on the main screen the ethernet cable + USB-As plugged in together with the second monitor connected to the main one through the DP to DP cable, right? Thank you in advance, ML
I don't think you can support another monitor via DP. Meaning, you will need both USB-C and DP cable connected to your laptop. Not sure if your laptop has DP port.
The DP OUT on the primary monitor can be used to passthrough the signal to the second monitor, however the monitors' panels need to be the same resolution and if the laptops GPU is not strong enough, it won't be abke to run the second monitor in full resolution.
You said the type c of the screen will charge my laptop too ? Should i disconnect the laptop charger in this case or it is smart enough to choose only one of the two power sources ?
