Hi! Nice set up.I have the same hot tent. We were having hard time setting it up during freezing gusty wind here in Lucerne Valley California. But when it's all set up the tent was unaffected by the strong weather.
There were strong winds when I set up the tent as well and it's a bit tricky, but it works if you start by attaching the tent to the ground first before raising it up. As you write, it is very stable once it is up. Good luck with the camping
Great video Roger. Love the tent, but I have a question. It may just be the perspective of the camera, but your stove appears to set in the middle of the tent. If so, do you find that to be inconvenient? Just curious. Happy trails!!🪓🛶
@Rogers Wilderness Adventures Very nice video. Thank you. I just received my Gamme 4. Haven't used it yet, because I just found out that you shouldn't seam seal it under 15 degrees celsius. So now I have to wait for warmer weather. Have you seam sealed yours? If not, have you taken it out in the rain? How did it perform?
Hi, glad to hear that you got the tent, a bit unlucky that you can't use it right away. It was warmer when I got my tent so I seam seal it before my first camping. I have used it in both rain and strong wind and it handles it very well. You have bought a really good tent that you will enjoy a lot. Good luck
@@RogersWildernessAdventures Did you have enough glue for all the seams? Before processing the seams, it is necessary to wipe them with alcohol in advance, or can they be smeared immediately?
@@RogersWildernessAdventures did you leak the seams in the summer? at home or somewhere camping? I really like this tent. thanks for the recommendation
I almost bought a Gamme 8. But then I realized that the 14 ft and 2 inch domed footprint would be challenging to accommodate, with so many annoying campsite regulations with allowable space. I have no interest in a small tent, in fact Gamme 8 is the only tent that I could imagine wanting, because of its size, it being a free standing dome, and it’s extremely high quality. But then the stupid campsite problems. I guess that tenting just wasn’t meant to be for me. Unless I move to a more favorable location with FREEDOM.
enjoyed this Roger and beautifully filmed. Thank you, from another NORTENT fan.
Thanks, then you know it's a really good tent that you sleep comfortably in.
Bravo! 👏👏👏 a new flavour to your amazing solo adventures. Well done 👍
Thanks
Great video as usual. Looks like a really sturdy tent you got there. 👍
Yes, the tent withstood the wind very well. Thanks for watching.

No, the stove is located a bit to one of the two entrances to the tent. I think it's the inner tent that deceives the eye. Thanks for watching.

ha ha Indiana Jones yes why not, thank you so much for that comment : )
Free standing dome tents are the best tents, Gamme tents especially! Relaxing song that starts at 8:16, do you have a link to it?
Yes it is a very good tent, I don't have a link to the song but I got it from "Epidemic Sound"
hello) I bought this tent) tell me that the silicone also arrived and you glued the seams in the tent yourself?
Hi Anatolii, yes I glued the seams myself and haven't had any leaks even though I've camped in heavy rain.
@@RogersWildernessAdventures Did you have enough glue for all the seams? Before processing the seams, it is necessary to wipe them with alcohol in advance, or can they be smeared immediately?
There was enough glue and I didn't use any alcohol because the tent was brand new and it worked well.
@@RogersWildernessAdventures did you leak the seams in the summer? at home or somewhere camping? I really like this tent. thanks for the recommendation
@@anatoliifromcanada3849 I did it in my garden and I got the tent in the summer but it probably doesn't matter when you do it.
Nice trip, nice video, are those Fjallraven technical pants you wear?
Thanks David. The brand on the pants is Swedemount
