I love your faith in us! 😍 Also, I notice your lovely selenite chips do reflect light so nicely ..I have a few selenite bars and a palm stone..they are more of the typical chalky/whitish/cloudy color. Is that just because they are of a bigger size than the ones you showed? Yours seem so clear!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I also love selenite, my workhorses. This year around my garden I made an electromagnetic field by placing a copper pipe at every corner and a taller one in the middle, each topped with a dp clear quartz. I need more selenite.
I appreciate that you actually read the comments. Here is my video of my garden that uses copper and clear quartz. There are four pipes at each corner and a taller one in the center. th-cam.com/users/shorts8d9TzJqykiM?feature=shared
Chatoyancy has a different play with light than transparency. And there are the other qualities of selenite, too, theres a couple I got to mention in this short video.
Selenite is quite soft and if it’s sitting in a lot of water it can dissolve a bit. But that’s okay if you’re working with small pieces that you don’t mind changing in an appearance a bit. Mostly the selenite doesn’t get too wet in houseplants though as it’s on the top of the soil and it stays pretty well in tact.
As a Jeffrey Yuen student for 30 years now… love your sharing and integrating this ancient wisdom for our modern times. Shine brightly!! 🙏🏼

Thank you Sara. I need to try this on my oak tree that is being destroyed by gypsy moths!
So if it’s just the light wouldn’t quartz work just as well? Or is there something particular about selenite ?

From what I've learned selenite should be kept away from water because it breaks it down, so wont it dissolve in the pot with the plant?
