Had an outstanding day yesterday! A friend called to tell me that his son had gotten his Toyota Tacoma stuck in the mud adjacent to a levy here in Houston and wanted to know if I could come in my JLUR to recover his vehicle. I've been watching your videos, learning what to do, and slowly collecting the best recovery gear I can, but have never had the opportunity to put any of it to use. That changed yesterday. I did what I thought you would do. After assessing the situation, I figured out the best way to get him out. I set up a bridal with 2 soft shackles with my tree saver off 2 strong tow points on the back of his Tacoma and then used my kinetic rope hooked to another soft shackle to a shackle hitch receiver on my Jeep. Layed the slack kinetic rope to the side so I could see it and pulled him right out. It was amazing how easy it was with the right gear and your expert tutelage. It really felt awesome to sort of know what you're doing and rescuing a friend in need. Thanks very much for posting these videos as I learn more from each one I see. Keep them coming!
Looks like he tried avoiding the deep part of the mud hole and ended up finding the deepest side. I feel his pain, been in that situmany times. Great job especially with the weather. If that would have been me, the first crack of lighting I would have been in my Jeep and waiting on it to pass. Hats off for having balls of steel.
It's really great of you to do this and to be willing to go the extra mile and pull them to the road and in the rain no less. Also it really dose help to teach people the safer way to recover a vehicle.
Good call on avoiding unknown water pools while towing out off the beaten path. Only takes one oops to make it a much longer recovery. Gotta love the soft shackle!
Just joined the 4x4 rescue for New Jersey I’ve seen a few of your videos now and I’m a big fan I love what your channel Stands for keep Up the good work also the tips and talk through is very helpful!!
Thanks for explaining what your doing and why your doing it that way. The kinetic rope being better for towing in this situation is something I’ve never thought of. Nice job!
Best video in a while. The beach was getting old. Probably because I was wishing I was at the beach too and I'm 12 hours away from one. I just received my first order from you guys. Didn't take long for my son to find and steel the stickers and put them on his 4x4. Oh darn guess I'll have to make another order to get more lol. He's watching your videos now too.
I purchased my kinetic rope from you at Jeep Jam PCB. Today is the first time I was able to use it. It worked great especially since I have a lighter weight 2 door. Great job great video.
Great video, love the step by step and the explanation of your process. Out here in the AZ. We recently had a good Samaritan die due to a receiver hitch failure, if you would like to see the news article search the Kingman news papers for an F250 stuck hitch failed
I'm a car audio enthusiast. Due to subwoofers killing batteries and alternators it is a common belief that deep cell batteries are the best option. Also referred to as boat batteries. They can handle getting charged in discharging quickly without killing the cells inside. You might already have one but it's just a thought
Nice surprise with the Wednesday video just wanted to say thank you and Rhino for what you do and love the Texas videos where you were trying to teach people how to get out on there own that being said best of luck winning the tow strap everyone
👍when I’ve had to pull out a truck stuck in mud suction I would always highlift one end and push it over off the jack. Good technique on the alternating on and off of the winch.
I really like that you explain what you're doing & why. I have a Rhino rope but not had chance to use it yet. Very clearly see that it's a quality item. As always, Good video ! 👌🇺🇸
Always good to see the amazing work you do and free of charge. Going out on your ways just to help people. Definitely learning new things every time watching your videos
Lol, my winch sat in storage for a whole year before I installed it. Now I have a new one that’s been sitting for a month already. Hopefully will get it installed next month. It’s a bigger 12k synthetic, wireless, openroad4wd
Amazing Job Wes you always figure a way of getting the job done. I am always impressed with how any obstacle you find a way to overcome with your experience. Keep up the great work
I've been binge watching your videos and been enjoying seeing different rigging techniques. A lot of people don't use a winch. It's nice to see the community that you built. Keep up the good work.
Another great video! I love the mud recoveries, they can be really tough sometimes. Good idea using the bridles on the flat tow out, that probably made the tight corners a little easier and certainly less jerky.
I grew up in Michigan and I've seen guys leave mud trucks stuck in the swamp all winter. By time you get mud suction, and freeze and thaw it's a hell of a job getting them out. Usually involving a dozer, or excavator 😂
Good stuff! I joined the Arizona FB group recently. (I've got a NOT-built Xterra 4x4, rear-locked, at LEAST 1 inch lift. Haha. But do have straps and a kinetic rope). Monsoon season (coming to an end soon) didn't produce TOO many stuck vehicles. 🤷
again another good video i watch all of them you do a great thing i see all the gear you donate to people you don't know but it really helps ones like me that do not charge for their services. people are so used to paying high recovery bills when i come and help them for free they thank me over and over but its a good feeling to help because some cannot afford but need the service thanks again
I like to use short ropes or double up to make it easier to maneuver through woods. Double battery is the ticket. Glad my truck has it stock. That rope is sweet, my prefered method of extraction.
was telling a guy last week about your videos and products, and he already uses your items,,, he pulled out the whole bag. of ropes and snatch blocks... i was old news, lol ..
Good job my friend. That mud suction can be a bear sometimes and can break winch lines using the snatch block can make all the difference but as always great recovery my friend keep on keeping on my friend see you on the next one.
In these miserable times it is great seeing people help each other
Your explanations during the recovery are very informative and much appreciated. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Nicely done! You should look into a Noco jump starter pack. You can get big ones capable of starting pickup Diesel engines. Love mine.

Hey that’s awesome, it’s a good feeling when you successfully recover a vehicle.
Never meant someone that would help out as much as you do. Getting them out then pulling them all that way. Way to go
Always great to meet new people even if you have to help them out we always try and help

It is nice to see you done recovery and telling how to hook up all the stuff and not destroy it
Love your explanations of what you were doing during the recovery.
You have the coolest job. Us off-roaders need all the help we can get.
It's really great of you to do this and to be willing to go the extra mile and pull them to the road and in the rain no less. Also it really dose help to teach people the safer way to recover a vehicle.
Great use of a bridal system for flat towing. Great video as always.
Thanks for taking the time to explain the thought process of why you are doing the recovery in a manner and then why you change tactics.
Rancho be deep sometime lol sunk a wj. Out there few months ago.
Good demo of rigging with kinetic rope following snatch block winching ,,, excellent !
I like watching your recoverys as I'm new to 4 wheeling. Learning all the time. Thanks for your videos.
Good safe recovery. Watching this makes me miss my JK but I still love my YJ.
Good call on avoiding unknown water pools while towing out off the beaten path. Only takes one oops to make it a much longer recovery. Gotta love the soft shackle!

Yep typical FL rain. Looks like a fun place to be.
Man you living the life bro.. pick me up sometime I'll roll with you on a recovery ✌️
You do good work. I am surprised we haven't had recoveries with all the flash floods we are getting in Arizona. Rhino products rock.
I was thinking the same thing....the Facebook page has been quite. Lol ok ok fine I'll take my trail hawk out to back way to crown king. Be ready 🤣🤣🤣🤣

we hit some trails yesterday .. found some pretty good size mudholes and since we were solo we decided it was best to turn around ... happy trails!!
That was a mess, but you got him out. In spite of the weather and mechanical difficulties. Persistence wins!
Definitely the most interesting recovery videos i have found on youtube definitely like watching the rancho ones since i go there often
Glad I found your page, actually joined Virginia 4x4 rescue so I can help anyone in need also. Keep up the great work. 👍
👍when I’ve had to pull out a truck stuck in mud suction I would always highlift one end and push it over off the jack. Good technique on the alternating on and off of the winch.
I’ll bust out the hi-lift if needed but the winch will usually power through, depends on the situation.
Good to see you're back at it!
You have such a positive attitude and never get discouraged, slow and steady wins the race wes. Good explanations w all your gear👍🏻🇺🇸
Great video and instruction on how to use the Rhino USA equipment. Nubie here so, this is super helpful. Thanks.

Watching from Dallas TX. I've been hooked on your videos brother! Good job
great video - learned some things. I thought you would have done a double snatch block using the tree but you got it out anyway.
Another great recovery! I really need to quit being lazy and hook up my winch! Make things lot easier. 😎
Lol, my winch sat in storage for a whole year before I installed it. Now I have a new one that’s been sitting for a month already. Hopefully will get it installed next month. It’s a bigger 12k synthetic, wireless, openroad4wd
