I was the one who filmed this footage, still have the original master copy. This footage is also missing 2 songs from their set, I have it up on my TH-cam channel.
First time I saw LOA they opened for Biohazrd at the Ritz. nobody knew them and they killed it.. they threw out demos and I got one .. great memories. think we saw every one of their shows after that.
Thanks for uploading this. Holy shit this is priceless... brings back so many memories. And he’s right what he said about Nirvana in the beginning. LOA came out at that time when there were just SO many fucking amazing bands coming up and releasing music. Most of these bands got overlooked in the Nirvana/PJ/etc. MTV coverage explosion. But the true music lovers knew LOA. Thanks again for this
Still one of my all time favorite bands!!!!! I saw them live a few times in the 90's. One of the few bands that sounds as good or better live than on their album. They really feed off the crowd.
Man this brings back memories, thanks for posting, a mere shell of what I used to be but I remember seeing LOA, moshing around and about jumping through the roof, running, spinning, slipping into a bar table and crushing it to pieces. Having so much anger and angst, so much love, truly feeling alive in a dead world.
I PRACTICALY WAS AT THIS CLUB FROM '92 TO '98' GREAT CLUB FOR HARDCORE SHOWS IN N.Y.C. SEEN THEM A YEAR EARLIER IN BROOKLYN AND THEY DID 3 DEMO SONGS. COFFEE BREAK PLEXI GLASS GATE AND DROWING THAT WAS BEFORE THE RIVER RUNS RED CAME OUT BUT THEY DID DO 4 SONGS FROM THERE DEBUT ALBUM.
Joey-Z's BIOHAZARD shirt!!! 🤘🎸🤘🎸🤘🎸🤘🍻🍻 Type O, LOA, sick of it all & BIOHAZARD I associate all together. Learned about them from my exBFF! he was from NY so those 4, Dog Eat Dog, Agnostic front and Orange 9mm he was into and would bring his tapes over. Seeing all them I was "I gotta hear them!" Biohazard was def my fave as a Kid! TON & LOA gir me through the darkest time in teen years of horrible depression
+Scott travis Alaan Robert is the main songwriter. Besides, all of their albums are amazing. Broken Valley and Soul Searching Sun are classics in my collection
wow,you just sent me right back to the old days man, thank you so much for posting this,i always thought they were underrated and keith caputo is amazing!!!!
To this day, I have never heard a reason or explanation as to why the vocals changed after UGLY. Does anyone have a real answer to this one? Still makes no sense to me
that voice...keith could sing the yellow pages and i'd buy a ticket to watch him... saw them 3x when i was 16, i wish i wasn't so damned drunk though, really don't remember much...i do remember they had that beethoven's 5th disco thing as thir intro music :P
43:30 holy shit nowadays these ppl would be thrown out. They risk all their equipment and themselves to let the fans come on stage. Fuck yeah LOA. What band does that?!
Funny, back in the early 90's I played the hell out of this record but never saw then live or saw any vids or pictures of them. I always pictured Keith Caputo as this tall, big Italian guy with long hair. Not a short dude with short bleached hair and trendy shirts. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just way off of what I pictured based on his name and voice. (Didn't picture a woman either, but whatever makes her happy...)
Jason Lagud I don’t know but that’s what drew me to them when I first heard them back in the early 90s… well that and the killer riffs and drumming...and bass. But I’d like to know too. Anyone?
Wetlands, what a shitty venue. The stage was stuffed sideways in the back. Most of the room couldn't even see what was going on. There is a giant pillar on the right corner that blocks most of the action if you're anywhere near the street. On the left of the stage is the back wall of the building. No stage diving because the stage only came to your knee and you had to try and not fall all the time if you were front row.
That awesome moment when you recognize your father in the crowd
FU
Awesome
Bad ass
The one on the shoulders

Amazing vocals
The singular best metal/hard-core album Ever created

LOA pits were sick back then...
This is what a “safe space” was in the 90’s
To that one person who disliked the video...go deepthroat a cactus plant.
Relax

hi dude. i'm against that transition. but if it makes him/her happier... still there's one thing - ONLY THE STAIN REMAINS!!!!!
These guys started nu metal 💯
KoRn pioneered the Nu Metal genre. LOA are hardcore/alternative metal.
Thanks fuckin awesome!
#7 is Underground
What did he say about Nirvana in the beginning?
I left that out of the setlist for a reason.
rparas34 5 yrs later I see what you did there. The song that shall not be named
@@greeenpro2009 The record company removed the song listing from the description.
Howcome?
@@twenty_eyes Read the comment above yours
@@rparas34 yeah but why did the record company remove it?
Keith could have been the new John Lydon.
Why did he give up that amazing vocal style?
Jason Lagud I don’t know but that’s what drew me to them when I first heard them back in the early 90s… well that and the killer riffs and drumming...and bass. But I’d like to know too. Anyone?
He transitioned into a she. And I don’t think she can hit those deeps baritone vocals anymore with estrogen. No I’m not joking lol.
@@MrDanielpawelczykno that's true . It's a shame because LOA from the demos to RRR was special
PICANTE EL POGO JAJAJ
Incredible band, one of the all-Time Greats of the scene until Keith lost his mind...

Çok acayip nasıl buraya geldim bilemiyorum amk
Ha! That dude playing Marco polo
Doesn't much look like dancing back then, looks like a bunch of dudes having seizures
+SicknessMedia You're outta your mind. The kids in the 90's were the best dancers the scene has ever witnessed. Hands down.
Looks like every hardcore band today
It’s called a mosh pit
nasty af crowd
