    There is a part of our legal system known as "jury nullification".The legal system doesn't want you to know about it because it puts ultimate power of deciding a case in the hands of the jury. Jury nullification has always been in our system . It gives the jury the right to judge the law as well as the crime and can nullify the law if it is unfairly applied to a particular situation. If the judge was molesting the sheriff's under age daughter he could literally be acquitted because only one juror could not "in good conscience" convict this man in this set of circumstances. I bet you didn't know how powerful the jury system is. It's a secret. Look up jury nullification. You can get a little hand book all about it. People have been shooed away from in front of courthouses for trying to distribute them. Wonder why?

    I believe they are leaving out details between the judge, sheriff, and his daughter as it could prejudice any potential jury members with how impactful it could be on jury selection due to the news focus.

      It's the normal way criminal plea. They have attorneys that give false hope that a jury might vote not guilty.

  • @terry_willis
    @terry_willis 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

    Depending upon what the judge did previously, the Sheriff could plead "guilty" with an explanation. I got out of a ticket in traffic court years ago but this is obviously a totally diff. situation. I'm just thinking what the judge did was so heinus no jury would convict him. The news media don't want to release more details so it's hard to tell.

    So the sheriff was not working at the time? He was not in work clothes. Does this mean he found out something and went to the judge on his own time?

    More context would be interesting. Is the daughter a minor? Are they estranged? Is this being offered as an excuse by the defense, or motive by the prosecution?

  • @tmpterrostone8337
    @tmpterrostone8337 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

    The motive was the judge interacting with the sheriff's minor daughter.
    That sounds like a p diddy situation but ofc
    A lot of cover up by media.
    I wonder who the judge was connected with
