Yeah, just in case anyone is wondering, this interview was from a year ago. Very insightful though into the Tesla manufacturing process, but man, would it be interesting to see how much things have changed in the time since.

As far as voltages go an 800V battery pack could be two units/modules/batteries of 400V each. Charge in parallel but use in series.

May I ask.... I was thinking of the analogy - We as Human beings , can we say we have Digital Self Management - as the brain and all the cells do so much of their Growth and Maintenance without the human self consciously to know and take part of it. ??? If we had to control, decide and approve each cell's action - we would not have time for anything else.
Now we can put our Time to creativity. To do what we want.
Isn't that really how a complex organic emergent system do function?
    I am fascinated!

Oh man! You’re so definitely on to something …
Insticts, and “automatic“ body functions would be part of the OS - the operating system, it seems to me

Elon stated that factories are volumetric inefficient. He wants to use the 3rd dimensional.
Tall rooms are very difficult to heat/keep warm so a false ceiling, which could be an insulating sail, would help solve that. So tents inside a building may not be crazy. Or buildings inside buildings.

I’ve been trying to contact Tesla directly with little luck. I DID get a human on the listed Tesla phone, but not sure my message got thru. My suggestion was, in the 5 Volvos I’ve owned, they all had a handle built into or attached to the frame in the doorway. I’m mobility challenged, and need those handles for stability and to help swing into the seat. Why don’t Teslas have these safety handles? If safety is paramount, I would think these would be built in. Can you help me contact Tesla to at least ask? Where is the AGILITY system when you need it?
