For some reason they recommend that people do not feel the store-bought cans, and I know for certain that little valve you push on the can that has paint on it 9 times out of 10 it will continue to leak after you mash it down I have found if you will take something small and push in the center of the top of the can where the threads are you can vent the pressure off of the can without the possibility of getting the valve stuck on the side of the can
