Lobo has always been my favorite DC character for the most part. When the video mentioned the possibility of a movie I immediately started thinking about who would play him well. It may be hard to pull off since he’s also Aquaman but Jason Mamoa legitimately feels like one of if not the best candidate. I’m sure he would be able to play both parts but I also feel like he would end up falling in love with the Lobo character and unintentionally take away from the smelly fish f**ker which I’m sure is a reason they wouldn’t want him taking on that role also. But damn he’d be good for it. Any other ideas?

I would love to see Lobo written as a serious, and intense, character. No jokes, just a brutal biker version- something like SOA, but even more brutal, gory, and violent. Biker gang + Game Of Thrones(different Biker Gangs w/ a deep rooted history) + space/cosmic sci-Fo thriller + Shot Caller = A Lobo Movie. Zack Snyder do the visual directing, Tarantino & Robert Rodriguez + their team to handle the rest.. Jason would be the perfect Lobo, but it has to be Dark, and a Hard R..

The thing that gets me about these “regenerate from a single cell” characters is, why is it that anytime they get a single cell separated does each and every separation not regenerate into a separate being as well? Theoretically we should have thousands of these copy characters running around.

it wasn't a tv show in the 90s..jsut a short fanmade film. but Yes, he was in Krypton, and that was probably the most accurate/played for more than cheap laughs depiction of him to date. Lobo HAS depth of character to him. He just REALLY hates exploring it.
