I don't get it. This is a fan film with limited resources. Why your Green Lantern costumes look so much better and believable than in multi million-dollar blockbuster movie. Also if Lobo ever gets his own movie I doubt he will as look as good as this one. Seriously great job on those costumes.
Actually, no it's not. If you know anything at all about the source material, the "animated suit" complaints are silly. In the books, the suit is NOT made of cloth, but green light, same as what comes from the rings. Did the movie suck? Yes, but this was not a valid complaint. If the suit looked like regular clothing, then I would complain more.
We hear this one a LOT: "Why'd you kill Batman!?!?!" Answer: A) Batman has plenty of fanfilms, we wanted to do something different. B) Because it's not expected. C) How else are you supposed to arrive at Zombie Batman? ;)

We're getting a lot of praise over the production value on this short, and we really appreciate that. We did notice, however, that a lot of people are curious where we got our "budget", as if to suggest we had a legitimate amount of money to work with. We're flattered, but the truth is, we didn't. What we did have was a team of incredibly talented people who devoted their time and effort. There are a lot of fanfilms out there with far more resources and money than we had, but $$ wise, to give you guys an idea-- it was 100% self financed by us. Without putting an exact # out there, let's just say a few of us basically decided to skip our vacations and 4k TV purchases this year, and make "Ash vs. Lobo and The DC Dead" instead ;) Gotta sacrifice to do what you love =)

How did you get a clone of Bruce Campbell to do this little film? The look, the lines, the timing, everything was pure Bruce. And a fraggin' perfect Lobo. The camera angles and effects came straight out of ARMY OF DARKNESS. Congratulations. Well done.
That was AMAZING! First time viewer here and damn, that was high quality and a beautiful homage to the whole zombie series that swept through Marvel a few years ago. Blown away.
I rewatch this one periodically. Just for the sheer badassery. And here we are , 5ish years on, still the best live action/animated lobo. Full stop. And from a fan film. And despite the millions the studios have to throw at it. And the one dude i think could pull off a "young ash" for a reboot. Again, props for holding up to the test of time.

Ya know I too often hear people claiming that if anyone other than one certain actor plays a character it's bad and not actually the character. And while Bruce Campbell always will be ash to me I gotta say this guy is pretty damn groovy and goes to show that sometimes letting someone else try can work out great. I'm a huge Batman fan, but I still loved your "not his fan-film" line before he gets his jaw ripped off. I gotta admit, sometimes I do feel like he gets away with too much in some of his fights against meta-humans; hiding behind the "I'm Batman!" excuse. I like it when he's handled realistically (in comic book world at least), but not rendered useless, besides strategist, against meta-humans. Great film, guys! Could tell you put your hearts into it. This is so much better than I thought it'd be. Never judge a video by it's thumbnail. We've got Ash and Green Lantern Gwen Stacey ultimately teamed up with Lobo. And the end is a pretty fun parody of Army of Darkness's ending.

I enjoyed this fan film. Usually I can not make it through a fan film, but this was really good guys. Great camera style that matched the Evil Dead movies.
Unbeknownst to Lobo, He is being tracked...a genius yet frugal toy collector would like to add Lobo to his action figure "collection"...due to the vast volume available he has been able to program and remotely operate Sheriff Woody figures he has increased to life size with a secret machine he invented. The first gen Woodys did not have much offensive capabilities but where quite rugged and durable, their "puppet master" could control them "first person" they where operated. Via 3D wearable bodysuit linked to the Woody. A Woody has been silently observing Lobo during every visit to Earth. The puppet master has been studying Lobos every move looking for any weakness or vulnerability.

No real gems of wisdom outside of the usual stuff. Filmmaking is much harder than most folks realize (going on the assumption you're new to filmmaking). Start small, and make whatever that small thing is as awesome as you can make it, even if its only 30 seconds. Then work your way up to making longer awesome things. And always have a goal with each successive project, in terms of trying/learning new techniques, and pushing yourself. Best of luck! =)

This was perfect. You guys should do the Lobo movie, and Ash totally fits in with DC. I basically misclicked on this little gem, what an awesome start to the day. The cigar lights, "what are you doin this weekend", spot on Lobo. When they all realized they were trying to save the world and went to the strip club, I laughed so hard. Also, the scene where Ash rolls the window up on the car door slayed me!

Who ever made this just so you know this is maybe the best movie ever made. Ive only ever wanted a lobo movie and I like ash too so this is perfect and a perfect story for lobo and ash this is perfect who ever made this is genious. Finally a movie with lobo congrats you are hired!

Ya know I too often hear people claiming that if anyone other than one certain actor plays a character it's bad and not actually the character. And while Bruce Campbell always will be ash to me I gotta say this guy is pretty damn groovy and goes to show that sometimes letting someone else try can work out great. I'm a huge Batman fan, but I still loved your "not his fan-film" line before he gets his jaw ripped off. I gotta admit, sometimes I do feel like he gets away with too much in some of his fights against meta-humans; hiding behind the "I'm Batman!" excuse. I like it when he's handled realistically (in comic book world at least), but not rendered useless, besides strategist, against meta-humans. Great film, guys! Could tell you put your hearts into it. Loved it

Unbeknownst to Lobo, He is being tracked...a genius yet frugal toy collector would like to add Lobo to his action figure "collection"...due to the vast volume available he has been able to program and remotely operate Sheriff Woody figures he has increased to life size with a secret machine he invented. The first gen Woodys did not have much offensive capabilities but where quite rugged and durable, their "puppet master" could control them "first person" they where operated. Via 3D wearable bodysuit linked to the Woody. A Woody has been silently observing Lobo during every visit to Earth. The puppet master has been studying Lobos every move looking for any weakness or vulnerability.

No real gems of wisdom outside of the usual stuff. Filmmaking is much harder than most folks realize (going on the assumption you're new to filmmaking). Start small, and make whatever that small thing is as awesome as you can make it, even if its only 30 seconds. Then work your way up to making longer awesome things. And always have a goal with each successive project, in terms of trying/learning new techniques, and pushing yourself. Best of luck! =)

This was perfect. You guys should do the Lobo movie, and Ash totally fits in with DC. I basically misclicked on this little gem, what an awesome start to the day. The cigar lights, "what are you doin this weekend", spot on Lobo. When they all realized they were trying to save the world and went to the strip club, I laughed so hard. Also, the scene where Ash rolls the window up on the car door slayed me!
