I have the cloud and the modlite. Love them both. The modlite seems more reliable in my experience though. Great video!
The Weltool T8 Plus is my favorite light. Maybe I'll just let the others sit there.

I have a cloud in the same configuration. With the thrym clip on, it’s flakey. Some times it fires, sometimes it doesn’t, sometimes it flickers. So I took off the thyrm and it seems to work fine. No matter how tight I screw down the tail cap and head, with the thyrm on it’s flakey. I just got the Surefire EDC1 DFT and it’s perfect.
You have to put a metal washer in the tail cap if your running the thyrm and put the batteries in thru the head this will eliminate that issue when you buy a thyrm by itself it comes with the washer but they don't include them when they come with a light
Wurkkos FC12 with the tiny wurkkos TS11 18350 body is a superb (cheap) pocket thrower / tactical light. 350m throw in a far slimmer package than any other light I've found that size!
You are comparing a $10 light with a $300 light.
After watching your videos including weltool, i feel like the LH1 head and body paired with a separate weltool t1 pro covers all bases working in different locations and lighting, i need good throw to scare off the baddy's or shine their eyes ha-ha.
these heads look huge for pocket carry. whats the slimmest one? like 29mm? this isn't small at all. you should be looking at 20-25mm head diameters throwers. The smallest and brightest i can think of on the top of my head would be the Lumintop fw1aa. Something to rival the larger heads you showcase here would be the Convoy s6(25mm HD) with the Osram w1 emitter, combine it with a short 18350 tube and you're golden for less than 25bucks.
Love the video! Only critique is you should test runtime, lumens, other specs manufacturers claim before comparing them. Sometimes they exaggerate to make sales.
If price is no object (I'm guessing it's not from the 4 lights you picked), I recommend the Modlite body with the HRT AWLS PSF-Mk6 head. It has more lumen and candela output than the Modlite or Cloud, and doesn't heat up like the Cloud does.
@@Actual-user spec-wise, the LH1 is 89,600 candela, 686 lumens (looks like a CSLNM1 to me, both in spec and beamshot) and the AWLS very generously credits itself with 90,000 candela (raw) 1,700 Lumens (raw), and I can confirm it has a CULPM1. So I don't think they're 1-for-1. You might be right about Weltool making the AWLS, though!
If you can get ahold of them in Australia, try out the Surefire EDC1-DFT. It's amazing. 95,000 Candela, 550 lumens, and 45 minutes of runtime with 18350. It's probably about the size of the Weltool, maybe a bit shorter. It feels amazing in the hand, has that phenomenal Surefire switch, and doesn't get nearly has hot as the MCH does. You might have a new top choice with that.
