You could use just the battery as self defense.

Could you get a better camera or a drone or someone to hold the came or something to get better beam shots. You have enthusiasm, but your beam shots isn't up to par with the rest of your video.

The Convoy M21F runs this same LED up to 8 amps so the throw is a little further on it. Also holds a high sustained output. The Weltool’s beam looks a lot nicer though definitely no surprise there. Love seeing what companies are doing with the SFT25R.

Has anyone used a protected button top in this light? I heard it needs to be unprotected if used in this light or turbo will trip the protection circuit? I know a regular EPOCH 21700 unprotected will run the light but wasn’t sure on protected cells. 🤔

Excellent review. When walking towards a target, you want the spill to light the foot area so as not to trip. I think O-light accomplishes this. Also, with regard to the proximity sensors, if you're lighting up a targeted and then switch to read a document, you don't want the light bouncing off the document and blinding you, again I think O-light wins in this area.

Hey People I Need Those led Flashlights 🔦🔦

One important point about the Olight. It uses their proprietary 21700 battery which is difficult if not impossible to charge outside of the flashlight. Also, other 21700 batteries may not work at all in the light. I have at least 30 Olight lights but really hate they have quite a few lights that take proprietary batteries.

I wanna complain....for you getting me hooked on these Weltool lights ;-) I love em. I've been collecting lights for about 20 years and these are right there at the top. I'm hooked.

Its dry weight. Different batteries weigh different weights. All 21700 batteries dont weigh the same . Cmon man a little thinking.

Good video. One tip for you regarding Malkoff with high low ring. I walk pre-dawn and turn the head so it is just at the point where it goes from low to high. The light runs on low but with the slightest amount of pressure on the head, it goes to high as long as I apply pressure. I find any in the Malkoff series with a high-low ring, to be the easiest to activate two mode lights ever made.

A better comparison would have been the MH40 Pro or MH40S, The S should out throw them all with 737K candealla at Peak

Have your tried if a normal 14500 also works? If you like this you should also have look on the new Megastream. Its very similar but 18650.

Im looking for a collar adapter that will adapt an E series/legacy scout body to one of these DF 18650 heads. Any advice?

Olight wins hands down! I can live with proprietary batteries because their customer service is insanely good. Weltool on the other hand never even answers their email.

do you think the edc2 is worth it for the pricepoint?

I think it has a lockout button that you didn't mentioned. Wich it makes all the differenc to me. Great vid

The build quality feels more like a 20$ light. Also they never update it since 8 years. It would easy to make it work with 16340 or 14500. With them the low is as bright as high. Just when the voltage is very low short before they are empty the low is normal. There are some RCR 123 with 3V but who has them. You would have to buy them only for this light.

Like most things about the weltool but HATE that UI

Olight is superior in term of run time. Weltool 1000 lumens for only 92 minutes while Olight 1000 lumens for 159 minutes, and drop to 300 lumens for another 20 minutes. And that port on Olight is waterproof it self, the cover ring doesn’t make any difference. Besides, Olight warranty is 10/10 while I don’t have a good experience with Weltool warranty. It is pretty slow, rude and lame actually.
