It's called transference. People that do this - without actual thought nor comprehension - can be INFATUATED with 1 person for YEARS then meet someone new, who looks at or touches them in the _right_ way - in their head at least - and ALL of that infatuation IMMEDIATELY switches to that new person and they also tend to automatically have serious disdain or denial of even knowing the person they'd stalked for years previous.😬🤯
She definitely needs psychiatric help. It’s no wonder doctors don’t want to treat her! They’re terrified of her because she’s so obsessed with them. Her obsession is to the point where she deliberately harms herself just so she can see them.
Yes she needs in patient treatment at an ouch facility where they can monitor her ability to harm herself and find the correct treatment for her obsessive delusions. And I don’t mean the 48 hou4 holding places I mean she needs the state facilities that can keep her for as long as it takes to truly help her recover
She needs a team to treat her. Harder to become obsessive over a group opposed to a person. I wonder what reaction she would have towards a female doctor?
Yandere’s don’t hurt the one they’re obsessed with, they hurt anyone who gives or gets attention to/from the one they’re obsessed with. Maybe you’re thinking of tsundere’s. As a self defense mechanism they will hurt the one they have affection for. Psychologically it’s a “I think you’re going to reject me and hurt me, so I need to hurt you first” situation.
@@raelol1499Some yanderes can harm their love interest though, it just depends on the type of yandere, the one your thinking of is the obsessive yandere There are two main types of yandere's, obsessive and possessive, and possessive yanderes can indeed choose to harm their love interest, especially if it'll prevent them from leaving them While both can harm others around their love interest, the Obsessive is the one that is more likly to focus on taking out others, and tend to keep their distance and stalk their love interest, and try and look out for/fullfil their love interests needs/wants and ensure their happiness While the Possessive tends to actually focus their most dangerous qualities more on the love interest themself, it's not usual for them to try locking their love interest up so they can't leave them, and in extream cases a possessive could choose to end up killing their love interest, whether to ensure they're always with them/prevent them from choosing to leave, to preventing others from being with them, or some other reason they justify with their 'love'. They care more about ensuring their love interest remains by their side than anything else Though all yanderes have obsessive amd possessive tendancies to some extent most align more with one than the other, there are some characters that seem a full mix of both though. Also while it's not a rule, it is more common to find obsessive yanderes in female yandere characters while possessive yanderes are more common in male yanderes.
@@AnnaMno1 Yes but with yandere’s it’s a “I’ll hurt you to keep you with me” thought process, not a “I’ll hurt you before you hurt me so you don’t get the chance to reject me” thought process. To yanderes, being rejected or without the person they obsess over isn’t even really an option in their mind
Dr Bridges made the right call. Some people are saying that it’s to protect himself- that he’s unnerved and afraid of her obsession. And I’m not denying that at all! I just want to say that there’s also a medical/mental reason as well. When you can see clear signs of something, and recognize a pattern, there are important steps that must be taken. In this case, a dr wouldn’t want to feed her obsession as it would encourage her self-harming behaviour.
Also like, it’s completely reasonable to put your own and your family’s health above some random patient’s. She is very very likely to become a full on stalker and start harming family and friends (and him) depending on what happens. I wouldn’t risk everyone close to me’s lives just to maybe make this random woman feel a bit better.
@stephanieflores277 you are correct. Her father abused as a child, and when she got to the age of puberty, her father told her she was too old and he didn't want to "spend time with her anymore". Dr. Charles did eventually help her break through her delusions and she started seeing a different psychiatrist who was helping her deal with her issues. And she even thanked Dr. Charles for his help.

Unfortunately, people like this can’t be helped in the long term. Sanity only stays for a little while, and then comes and goes with the sanity staying less and less until it’s gone. She would have to be kept in a mental facility with a constantly rotating staff to keep her from obsessing over one nurse or doctor, and the rotating staff would keep her from hurting herself just to see one person in a staff that’s never the same.

This new anti-intellectualism has taught some people that a few hours on TH-cam is equal to years of intense study. I wonder if she interrogates her doctors this way? I do feel sorry for her son. He will be the one to suffer the most. I find these sorts of litigants fascinating, we don't have too many of these types in England, but I have noticed some behaviour that makes me think we aren't too far off from an increase in this craziness. Thank you for the video!
You probably mean these number one fans, whose fandom goes a little beyond the so-called norm boundaries (and they usually do something really bad when their fantasies does not work in real life) and which most (if not all) public figures probably have. I can say that I am a fan of one actor myself, but I try of course to keep certain boundaries that I never cross and of course to remember manners. These celebrities are people too and they have lives, families, loved ones, etc. behind their so-called public image and work and they also need to be given privacy and their own peace when they are not working. And I would say that if a fan moves from fantasies (and if the fantasies contain inappropriate or violent things) to actions and/or harms themselves or others (including the object of their fandom), then the matter must be addressed before someone dies. And it is not the first and hardly the last time that a fan kills the object of their fandom. Usually the reason is being rejected. In addition, such people usually almost certainly have other mental problems.
Well, y’all got to admit at least she’s going after Doctors. Guys who are worthy of being obsessed with. Me personally I don’t feel the need to be obsessed with anyone because nothing lasts forever anyways & what’s the point going after someone else who doesn’t feel the same way as u do?!

If this was real I'd wonder if she'd do better with being treated by a woman, even though it wouldn't be what she wanted.

I think she was also raped as a young child which may have contributed to the obsessions
