Jenny, I have now tried 4 of your workouts. 2 aerobics, 1 for arms, and just today one for the neck. I have a lot of neck pain, with degenerative disc disease and osteo arthritis, but it was so nice and gentle, I was able to do it, vs compared to SWORD therapy. Love your workouts, thank you so much! This is very welcome. Since the recent upturn in covid cases, I realise that I've been carrying the stress in my neck and subsequent headaches. Hopefully this will help to sort it out.
Another great set of exercises Jenny, having suffered from arthritis for many years my back and neck are often stiff in the morning. Your aerobic routines have already helped with that but just had a go at this set of movements and feel looser already thank you Jenny. Now off to face the day!!

I hadn't realised just how stiff my neck was until I did these. They will really help so my aim is to do them regularly. There is now an exercise routine I can do for every wobbly bit and every dodgy joint! Thanks Jenny.

Jenny, I love your energy and enthusiasm for teaching. My arms were shaking after the resistance band work out yahoo! I haven't felt that since the in-person Senior Fitness classes at the YMCA what would be awesome if you could help us out but saying what muscles or muscle groups we should be feeling if we are doing the moves correctly. I'm sure you know this but studies say to focus on the muscle when you are working it for optimal results. Take care.

Thanks for doing this. I have rheumatoid arthritis in the facets of my neck. I am forever trying to crack my neck so it won't be as tight. I go to the chiropractor once a month. I can't afford to go more than once a month but thank God for you, your exercises, and stretches. Have a wonderful weekend.

I am biased as I am a Physical Therapist, but have you ever thought of going to a PT instead to see if they can treat your problem instead of the symptoms? They will figure out why it stays tight and fix the problem, the "why"

Thank you Jenny for this stretching video .Between doing your routines and my water exercises , which use a lot of arm movements I have been having shoulder snapping . Not so much a pain but a catch in shoulders. Like on wall movement I can feel a catch as I am raising my arm. Hope the strengthening of muscles around shoulders will help.
Hi Jenny, I feel like that I know you because of doing so many videos with you. There is one thing I have wanted to ask you for a long time now. It is stretching exercises for the arms. The reason may sound weird but, I understand it is a very common one. No one wants to talk about it because it is embarrassing. But I know several friends who are not able to reach to wipe themselves after a bowel movement. I have told them to do stretching exercise for the arms would help that. I told them that I do stretching exercise for the arms every day. I guess many people do not realize they can do stretching exercise to help with that function. I guess too embarrassing to ask anyone as well. I am sure you can say it in a nice way that people would appreciate it a lot. Thank you.
Jenny I have constantly whiplash on the left side of the neck it doesn't have the things it needs not in it Can your exercises help me to get rid of it because it is hell the pain I have
Hi Lida. All of these exercises are safe and appropriate for helping ease pain and stiffness. However, we all are different with different problems. My advice is to try all of them and see what helps you. If any of them give you more pain, eliminate that one. You can also modify any exercise by decreasing the reps or time held or decreasing the range of motion. Hope this makes sense and helps. Thank you for being a subscriber...more to come! ~ Jenny

When you say push your head against the wall, how can you put your head back straight? I end up looking up to get it to the wall. I don't want to do these wrong. If it won't go back straight should I go straight as far as I can or what?
It may not reach the wall due to your posture, but if you keep working on it, it should! So, no, don't look up to get it to wall. Bring it straight back like you're giving yourself a double chin. If it doesn't touch the wall, keep holding back and eventually it will. Better to keep proper form. Great question!

Thank you Jenny for this stretching video .Between doing your routines and my water exercises , which use a lot of arm movements I have been having shoulder snapping . Not so much a pain but a catch in shoulders. Like on wall movement I can feel a catch as I am raising my arm. Hope the strengthening of muscles around shoulders will help.

Hi Jenny, I feel like that I know you because of doing so many videos with you. There is one thing I have wanted to ask you for a long time now. It is stretching exercises for the arms. The reason may sound weird but, I understand it is a very common one. No one wants to talk about it because it is embarrassing. But I know several friends who are not able to reach to wipe themselves after a bowel movement. I have told them to do stretching exercise for the arms would help that. I told them that I do stretching exercise for the arms every day. I guess many people do not realize they can do stretching exercise to help with that function. I guess too embarrassing to ask anyone as well. I am sure you can say it in a nice way that people would appreciate it a lot. Thank you.

Jenny I have constantly whiplash on the left side of the neck it doesn't have the things it needs not in it

Hi Lida. All of these exercises are safe and appropriate for helping ease pain and stiffness. However, we all are different with different problems. My advice is to try all of them and see what helps you. If any of them give you more pain, eliminate that one. You can also modify any exercise by decreasing the reps or time held or decreasing the range of motion. Hope this makes sense and helps. Thank you for being a subscriber...more to come!

The echo in the sound unfortunately, makes hearing unclear. Maybe a head microphone will solve the sound. The content is great and Jenny is warm and encouraging as in all her videos. When you say push your head against the wall, how can you put your head back straight? I end up looking up to get it to the wall. I don't want to do these wrong. If it won't go back straight should I go straight as far as I can or what?
It may not reach the wall due to your posture, but if you keep working on it, it should! So, no, don't look up to get it to wall. Bring it straight back like you're giving yourself a double chin. If it doesn't touch the wall, keep holding back and eventually it will. Better to keep proper form. Great question!
