This is Live, not from a nods as good as a wink, I have been listening to this since it came out, 51 years ago, good music will always be good music, Rod and Ron , great duo, Rod has had incredible rock songs partying through life.
I saw Rod and Faces 5 times from 1970 to 1975. Saw this tour concert twice in 1972 in small venues in different cities Rod Stewart was at his best with Faces in my opinion
That's fantastic, you are blessed. I lived in Austin Tx for a while where Ian Mclagen and Ronnie Lane played several nights a week. I never met them but a friend knew them well, they were very nice.
Listened to this song at the gym this morning and wondered....is there a live version of this? This is one of those songs that makes you feel like you got hit by a freight train! Love it!
Out off tune or not, still kicks me in the ass ! Been looking on ebay for a live version for a long time. But, too many of Rod's solo lp songs. Why not this one? THANKS SO MUCH!
Thank goodness the Faces were formed at all. If Stevie Marriot hadn't split, to form a new group with Peter Frampton. Then, if Jeff Beck, and Peter Grant treated the other members of JBs band better, Rod and Ronnie would not have been acting like" giggling school girls". Which upset Mr. Beck no end. He would not have decided to break up the group right before Woodstock. Well, 3 + 2 = one hell of a rock and roll band.
This isn't an album - The somg was originally recorded for the Faces 1971 album "A nod is as good as a wink to a blind horse". Check it out - Fantastic rock & roll band at their peak!
Now, this is a tune!!!
Who's the one mindless dope with no balls who gave it a thumbs down?!

Yes there is a live version on TH-cam. Woody’s guitar is slightly out of tune. Lol.
