I saw them twice in '75. First was in March at The Cow Palace with Foghat opening. The second time was that summer in San Jose's Sparten Stadium. East Bay Stroke, War and Peter Frampton were the opening bands. Jesse Ed Davis was on guitar with Faces. A super day.
My favorite guitarist along with Keith simply the best!Ron you Keith. Rod The Faces and Stones define what rock music and rock and rollers should be!!5 stars x 5 stars!!!!!Forever grateful to your music!Doc Mod Pa Steve Marriott Ronnie Lane IanMaclagan and Kenny Jones also. Thank you too also Alexis Corner Jeff Beck Jimmy Page Robert Plant peter Townsend Roger Daughtry
Addendum Keith Moon John Enwhistle John Paul Jones (Zep) Eric Clapton Ginger BakerStevie WindWood and Alvin Lee andAlbert Lee Uriah Jeep and Mick Box!Thank you all!!!
@@AVportau What I'm saying is that this SONG IS SO AWESOME with Stewart, Wood, and Ian, "who cares" about listening to a 'cover' version...it can't COME CLOSE...NO?
Please can you refer to this band as 'Faces' and not 'Rod Stewart & The Faces' or 'The Faces'. They were never known officially as either of these names. Ta. :)
You are technically correct. However these past decades both Ronnie and Rod when they're talking about the band refer to them as "The Faces" and never just "Faces". Also the last tour they were billed as "Rod Stewart and The Faces". Some shows were billed as "Rod Stewart and Faces". But yes, the band was officially called "Faces".
Was a Ron Wood song from one of his albums.. love this version
I'd die to footage of this! Best rock band ever?? Might very well be. Love ronnie in the stones but with Faces he was solid gold!

Saw them in Cincinnati in Feb or Mar of 75. They played it then. And I think they did Take A Look At The Guy from same album.
pure gold
Best solo I ever hear Woody play.
Konig Corvus what a guitar player at such a tender age.
Imo as good as there is or ever has been.
@Sean O'D...download Faces last London Concert...PURE GOLD!...with Keith Richards!
This is so great...
great
Renee Geyer did a great version of this song back in the early 80's.
She did indeed, with Ian McLagen playing on the album.
Who cares?
@@anthonypreziosi30 ha ha you goose... you obviously cared enough to comment. i'm surprised you can read, let alone type or text.
