There's so much conflicting information about a lot of these breeds. Some videos say Russian blue cats are super independent and fine with being left alone for extended periods of time. Others say they don't like to be left alone for too long. Dammit, which is it? I need a badass looking cat that's super chill and can entertain itself most of the time😤
We have an RB boy, 5 months. He is lovely. Wants to be with us and enjoys lap time and being carried. However, if I need to do something and put him from me a couple times, he gets it and goes and lays on something near me where he can watch and be with me. Very playful, quiet, and smart. I'm clicker training him. We've had him a month and he comes when called, sits, does high five, gives a paw, sits pretty (up), comes on a double tap, follows a wagging finger, and sits on a mat when I say "mat". He goes into his crate when I say "crate". We are working on stay, and I want to teach him fetch. He also knows "no". I can't imagine a more wonderful cat. Thank you for the video!
My cat is ferral rescued. So I think it could be a british cat with the dominance genes of Russian Blue Cat . Everything is exactly as a Russian blue cat except the eye color.

Russian blues do fine on their own, as long as you give them toys

I got a Russian Blue last year in October. He's sweet and ornery but not clingy. I love him.
Thank you
I have to choose between these two breeds.
Russian blues also are only vocal when they want food or to snuggle with you at night
