I just got f from my job and the dot took my cdl for a minute....... had a issue and couldn't pee.... for a drug test so I'm looking to lease on what do u recommend I'm in the process of buying a f450 right now but until that's done I have a 2500 and I want to run non cdl min tell after the law suit what do u recommend.....
I have a 32’ PJ tilt deck that has 7k axles and had a gvwr of 15,490. I believe manufacturers can increase the gvwr 10% if need be. I had it derated to 12lbs bc didn’t have cdl when I got it
@@hotshotnewengland yes sir. They were on my Featherlite trailer when it got sold. I have another trailer now and ordered another set. They arrived 3 days ago. Keeps the tire from hopping causing flat spots, cools the tire down and keeps the bearings stable.
I'm thinking of getting into the car hauling business I want to start out small to see if I would like it my setup would be a 2500 truck with a Kaufman 36ft to car trailer , if it goes well I would get my cdl class A , where do I start to be legal and do it right without my CDL

Id like to know how he can tow a trailer that is registered for over 10000 pounds without a cdl? Does Texas not have a restriction on the amount you can tow with a regular license? in Pa if you do not have a CDL Class A or a class A non CDL license you can not tow anything registered over 10000lbs.
@@hotshotnewengland Pa you can not tow a trailer over 10000 gvwr on a class c License im a CDL Instructor in pa! If your making money off of the freight your hauling which is considered commercial and your trailer is registered for over 10000lbs you need a class A license! Now pulling an RV is different because your not making money with the RV! Texas may be different but pa simply stated on the back of your license 26001 and greater need a class B towing anything over 10000lbs class A required! Even if the tow vehicles gvwr is less than 26001 if trailer is rated 10000lbs or more you need a Class A

It says if you are over 26k lbs total weight AND AND AND AND key word "AND" are towing more than 10k lbs you need a CDL. What this phrase is stating is the difference between a CDL A and a CDL B. The only difference between both A and B is a Class A CDL is required if you are towing a trailer over 10k lbs AND you are also over 26k lbs total weight. If you are towing a trailer under 10k lbs and over 26k lbs total weight than you only need a Class B

Since im not familiar with trucks registered under that but it seems you are correct as long as you combination is not over 26000lbs your good! My bad!! Even old dogs learn new tricks!! What tires do you recommend for a non Cdl setup like this...for example, 10 ply-12ply-14ply? I know the stock tires need to be upgraded
10 ply and 12 give out too much. 14 ply is fine which is what I have

That is incorrect. Only California has that rule. I have personally checked the laws in all 48 lower states and you are wrong
