    Thank you so much!! I did this workout for 1 month and a half, and I've finally got my splits. I did this workout once a day 6 times per a week. Here is how close I got to my splits after each week:
    Week 1: 10cm from the ground
    Week 2: 8cm
    Week 3: 6cm
    Week 4: 4cm
    Week 5: 3cm
    Week 6: Finally made it! :)
    And words of encouragement: even if you don't see results right away, I promise you that you will. It takes time. I promise, if you really try, you'll get it. Don't give up, you'll regret it.

    Oh man, this is from 2014, but I just found it, and did the stretches... I don't know if anyone is still checking the notifications of these comments, but I have been really wanting to do the splits my whole life, and just recently became more physically active. I can't wait to see how my progress comes along with this video, and hopefully I'll have results soon!! Thank you so much for this stretch workout video!!!

    I know you want people to comment so here you go:) - I have been doing the 12 minute stretch exercise (one of your previous videos) every day for the past 4 weeks, and I have gone from not being able to touch my toes to nearly being able to do the splits:) give it another 2 weeks and I should be there! Thank you so much, your videos have been an amazing help as I am a ballet dancer and always been the most inflexible in my class. I did this video for the first time today and plan to keep doing so, so thanks so much:)

    After seeing some of the crude comments I just wanted to take the time and thank you for the videos. They really have been helping me.
    I'm getting back into Jeet Kune Do after a decade of... well, not keeping up with my conditioning. Your videos are helping me get back some flexibility I've lost, and other PsycheTruth videos are helping me cope with some of the inevitable muscle tension and issues that comes with age.
    Although even as a young man I could not do the splits that well, I am getting good results with your techniques.

    I remember when I started doing this when I was younger, and how much it helped me! I got my left splits in only a month and got my right a few days after!
    Now, I'm back and striving to get back to where I was before :)

    This is an awesome stretch routine! I am not interested in doing splits (or even attempting them) but what a tremendous technique to get there. This really helps!!

    Over the past year, I've been able to achieve my right and left leg splits from these videos. I can't thank you guys enough for putting these videos online. You've helped me become a better dancer and I've even gotten improvement compliments from my dance teachers because of these videos. I am currently working on getting my middle splits and I can already tell that I am improving. My advice for people stretching is to practice as often as possible, be patient, and remember that flexibility only improves when have determination. Thank you @PsycheTruth

    I am an extremely thin (unattractively so) girl with stick arms and legs, and I started doing these stretches and workouts for my limbs to look better... and after a couple of months of following several of your videos, I now have no thigh gap and have quite lovely shapely legs! Lol. Even the thigh gap workout one. I'm very happy about this since I hated how thin my legs were... but I somehow imagine that it's supposed to work the other way round for people...

      If you are worried about your small frame and thin physique simply lift weights. Squats, bench press, deadlift, a row, start with the bar and add weight slowly. Stretching is good for you but your issue would be fixed by some strength work, not flexibility.

    Donnie, just wanted to say thank you for posting not just this one but ALL of your videos. I had "worked" with you about 8 months and finally got my splits!! However, I was in a really bad skydiving accident shortly after. I didn't think I would ever be able to walk again, BUT I am walking! I am back into the game and really missed your videos when I couldn't walk. Thanks, girl! Skydiving and splits...it's all fabulous!

      i know the splits are doable, but if theyre done wrong, would it tend to botch the crotch and how badly would it do it?

      MultiHungryeyes I think the worst that would happen is you strain your hip flexors a little bit. They are pretty strong though so I doubt you would do it unless you really pushed yourself too far. I seriously doubt you would be able to hurt your junk.

    I have been doing dance ever sense I was two years old. And like u said for u it's harder to do ur left leg but for me my left leg is so flexible but my right leg is as tuff as a rock

    Donni you got some great stretches thank you!! I did this and the 12 minute stretch for 2 weeks so far. Before I couldnt touch my toes by 6 inches or so. Now I can go past my toes easily.

    First time watching this video. I'm 17 years old and I'm about to start drill team and my coach says we need to be able to do the splits. I'm determined to get it down. My goal is to be able to have it down in about a month so I can do it for tryouts. I gotta say it burns pretty bad. I haven't stretched in over a year or so, so i'm not surprised at how bad it hurts to stretch. Even simple stretches like touching my toes was almost impossible for me. I'm hoping I can start watching this video after I get home from school and before I go to bed at night and maybe I'll be able to accomplish my goal. Thank you so much PsycheTruth

    Ok I am 54 and NOT flexible! I could only do the first 12 min and I already have less pain!! I am walking around with MUCH less pain

    I used to be almost two feet off the ground when I tried to do the splits, now, after using your stretch videos, I am only about six inches, and I only started a few weeks ago! Being in a senior and high school dance class with girls who have been dancing since they were young is a bit intimidating but these rare really helping. Now I feel like I can stand up with my fellow seniors and not feel ashamed! Thank you so much!

    Hi, I am currently a beginner on contemporary, and after a few years of on-and-off training, I've finally decided to actually train myself in doing my splits. Currently I am 8 inches from the ground (-_-), and my back leg is a bit bent while doing it. I am here to mark my first day of following this exercise, and I am feeling the effectiveness in this exercise. I will let you know my progress :)

    I have used other split videos but this is by far the most effective and also so relaxing ! It rly loosened my legs and I almost have the splits I'm gonna do this everyday and tell u my progress

    Great routine! I already have my right splits and I have been working upon getting my left split as well. I did this routine and it quickened the process of getting the left split very expressively. I'm nearly there because of this video!

    Omg! I'm so inflexible, but I'm on a gymnastics team, and my cosh said I really need to get my splits, so I watched this video and started last week, and now i have got them very easily! Did I get them fast or is that normal?

    Okay guys, I'm doing it every single day, I just started dance 4 weeks a go and It's my first time doing dance in my life so I need to upgrade my flexibility. The other day I stretched 6 times each for about 30 minutes, I learned after stretching more than once a day doesn't make a difference. So stretch once a day for 30 minutes at least. Second stretched for about 15 minutes I don't see any big difference but stretches are a little easier. Aiming to be able to do the splits and become very flexible! All update tommorow, great video by the way your my favourite instructor!

    thank you so much for this stretching video i got my class of 10 dancers that didn't have their splits to do this and by the end of the video 7 of them had their splits and the other 3 were significantly closer. this is much appreciated and we will continue to follow your videos for the rest of their dancing career im sure , thank you again!

    I can't get to my half split, and I wish these videos were taught by people who weren't already really flexible. I end up feeling bad about myself. some more progress videos would be nice

    This is an amazing stretching video! I have been dancing for ten years now and still working on my splits (I am 13). I have my left split and once I feel that the left gives me little stretch I will work on oversplits, but I don't have my right, in the past couple months I have seen a tremendous difference in my splits (probably from dancing 5 times a week instead of three). I found this video a couple days ago and planning to do it almost everyday to get all my splits! Only about an inch away from my right!

      Roxyhun It's because her hips are not well balanced, I guess... The weight should be on both sides, but she's only using her right side, I mean, it's not bad if you want to stretch, but it's not a right way to do the splits because it doesn't look so pretty.

    These are really helpful. I think its been 10 years since I've had my splits and after 2 babies and a brain surgery, decided it was time to start dancing again. I've been doing this for 2 weeks and I'm almost there!

    I'm using this to build back my flexibility so I can make it on my school's poms team this spring. Wish me luck!! So far I felt like this was a really good deep stretch.

    I have dance tryouts to see if I can make the competition team for dance and in order to make it you have to get your splits so this video has helped me get more flexible and now I can do my splits! Thank you!

      I did my stretches yesterday and they were good, I wasn't sore today so I did my stretches again. I had to do the video in a different room, so I didn't have the same chair I usually use. I still feel pretty flexible. yesterday I took a video of me trying my splits and it looks pretty close! like 4-5 inches away, so I'm getting there :)

      I didn't stretch for a while, and I just started stretching again (while on vacation) along with practicing back bends, so I'm far away but I'm set on doing cheer, so I'm going to stretch 20 min-1 hr a day. Virtual school this fall so I can stretch during the time I would usually be driving there or going to activities and such

    Day one. No noticeable progress yet a slight looser feeling (flexibility is that you) and a little bit of soreness (which is a good thing I'm sure). The plié seemed to help me stretch further as after each one when I straightened out I could go a bit further. So yay! I'll make sure to use this every night before I go to sleep! (It's very calming)
    I'll add weekly updates of my progress!

    I haven't done the splits in about a year or two but have still been close to being able to and after watching this video you have really showed me how to properly stretch so guess what !? I can have now been able to do the left splits again ! Thank you so much !
    Now all I have to to is work on my right splits but that's by bad flexibility leg sooooo that will take longer😉

    Tbh I never write comments below a video, but I wanted to tell you how great and beneficial your exercises are! Today was the second time for me and I already improved so much on my flexibility, although I am so not flexible haha :D I am starting ballet next Tuesday and I am very excited, but I think it is gonna be pretty hard because of my age AND my height (15 and 5"11) However, I don't want to be a professional ballet dancer, I just do it for fun! And your videos are :) I`m definitively going to let you know about my progress. Today I managed to touch the floor with my legs stretched, thanks to you! Keep up the amazing work!
