I was totally unflexible but I followed this video every day for 3 months and I finally got my splits!! :) Keep going everybody, you can do it! :) and thank you for the video, Donnie... it was really useful :)
I'll tell you my experience day 1-when I first started to try this I was worst then karina I was literally 1ruler off the ground day 2- so I saw one comment that it would be more helpful if you do it atleast 2 or more a day day 3- it was painful but it was worth it I got a little bit closer to the ground but I was still a brick at flexibility day 4- I was a daredevil I challenged myself to do it and push myself further past my limits day 5- yesterday was a miracle I'm 13 inches above the ground might be lame for you guys but for I feel proud fast forward in total it's been 3 weeks and I can do the splits now! this really helps!
INTJ-Scorpio-Sigma-Male are you commenting this on everyone’s? And 7 years? Are you the damn tin man? It took me like a week when I was younger and now I’ve seen progress after 3 days.
Everyone is different. In the comments you might see some people say it took them 3 days, and some will say it took months or even years. But not everyone is as flexible as the other, or has the same bone structure. But, even though it might take a while, keep practicing and you'll get better.💛
Side note: Usually only people who have been able to do the splits before but fell out of it by not doing stretches can get heir splits in a week or less so don’t hurt yourselves trying to get it in a week
EDIT: I'm back! Gave my hamstrings a break and went to therapy, so we're back in business. I'll be giving my daily reports from May 18th in the reply section of this post. See you then! . Pre- Injury report: Gonna document this and actually stick to it. I'll update it every few days, as I plan to do these twice a day - once in the morning and once at night Day 1: Super tough. Used to be a dancer so I was surprised how much I'd regressed. Day 4: I definitely am seeing a lot of improvements. Before I starts I was going a little bit lower than Karina, and now I'm about 2-3 inches away from the mat. (It would be a good idea to start off with a FULL BODY stretching video first, and follow up with this video after. Helps to warm up all the muscles before attempting this video, as it's actually pretty advanced.) Day 7: I'm still a bit tight tbh, but I can see the improvements. The stretches aren't as painful anymore. Definitely a little bit more flexible in the second exercise as it was super painful when I just started. It's working. Day 11 - Well, I now know where the pain stemmed from. I pulled my hamstrings from over stretching. I'm now in a bit pain and I haven't been able to do the splits for the past 4 days. What I HAVE been doing tho, is focusing on other areas - Back, hip flexor, quad stretches. I also follow youtube routines which tailor towards strengthening the hamstring in order to recover from the injury. PLEASE NOTE: Don't do like me and become to overzealous. Take your time. Stretch once a day the first week, then move into twice a week. Don't be to hasty, as it will delay your progress. Good luck guys. I'll be back hopefully next week to continue my report.
May 18th- Day 1 (forgot to post) Today was good. I still felt a little bit of tension as it is the first day, but I suggest doing a morning / evening yoga stretch video as it is the first day. My left side is at an all time low, as I injured that hamstring severely, but my right side is actually pretty close to the ground (3-4) inches. I'm doing this every other day so ill be posting as such. Beginners note: Please DO NOT do this by itself. Pair with an overall body stretch routine for fast results.
Day 2- I did pretty good today. I was definitely tight, but it was a lot easier today than the day before. I'm pairing this video with their "Stretching for Dancers/Cheerleaders video". So I've been doing those too. Definitely seeing improvements
People commenting that this is isn't for beginners don't realise that you don't have to stretch as far as they do. Over time you'll get better. As long as you're doing the same stretches as they are you will improve until eventually you'll be just as good as them. When I say eventually, I mean eventually, flexibility (particularly in young teens as they're constantly growing) takes effort and dedication. If you did these stretches everyday, within a couple of months you'd be able to do the splits (depending on your flexibility). Just make sure you warm up properly and do the stretches safely and correctly without overworking yourself. People are also put off by the 'pain' of stretching and worry that they're doing something wrong. It shouldn't be excruciating, but you should definitely feel something. Good luck and happy stretching! 😁
+Ernie Griff good for you! Once you get half good at it, it can actually be vaguely relaxing... I definitely recommend putting some music on or something though. I sometimes revise while I stretch to take my mind of it and save time. Good Luck 🙃
+Sophie Layton IKR Everyone is like this doesn't work because it hurts. Stop being a damn wuss it ain't that bad. And your totally right. She literally says "Don't over-work yourself if it's to much of a stretch." There's no need to hate if you don't like it. If you don't like it then stop posting dumb comments that nobody wants to read and click the dislike button. It's simple as that.
I love how all these people that commented like 8 months ago said they were going to update everybody on their progress untill they are able to do the splits but they stopped at day two😂😂
So, now that i finally did it i can share my splits-story: I‘m a 25 year old mom of 2 toddlers and somehow had the urge to finally get my splits (i was never before able to, but have never REALLY tried). I started on december 1st 2018 and it took me until today (january 23rd 2019) practising every single day. I‘m not the least flexible person, i could easily touch my toes with my fingertips but that was it. The first few days i made huge progress, but then i was stuck at about 15cm off the ground for what felt like eternity. After 5 to 6 weeks i guess, i made it to 5cm off the ground and stuck there for another 1,5 weeks. For the past week i was able to put my butt on the floor by leaning a bit to the side and today was the first time i was able to fully sit and put my hands in the air (both with my left and my right leg forward). It was really hard work but once more it shows that it pays off if you put a lot of effort in what you really want to achieve. Side note: since my streching all of my previous backpain (caused by carrying my babies around) is gone! Double win.
Of all the comments i have read on people's feedback on how to do splits even on other tutorials, this one really touched and inspired me.. i am so happy and proud of you Laura.. Way to go love ! what really inspired me is that you didn't give up even after being stuck in one position for that long. You are a superwoman and i'm sure a great mom too... may this spirit of endurance and perseverance bring you blessings and success in each and every new goal you set in your life ..
same, strange urge to learn at 24, mom of an 8 year old and 2 year old. Started practicing only yesterday and i am feeling better in my legs almost instantly , still unable to do the full split but i will be back with an update once i am. I plan to work on this nightly (home or gym) :)
Cee Macs your comment is so full with positivity and kindness- i want to thank you with all my heart! I keep it like a little treasure in my heart, that motivates me whenever i have a hard time doing my best. To all of you guys out there trying to reach your goals- it pays off to work hard- you can do it 💪🏼 My very best wishes to all of you 🍀🍀🍀🍀
I have decided to show my progress so yeah Day 1: Quite good but only because i have done other videos previously. It did help a little. Am about 3 inches off the ground Day 2: I did it twice today and the stretches are a little easier to do and I think I am slightly nearer to the ground Day 3: Pretty much the same as yesterday Day 4: Slightly closer than yesterday Day 5: I just did it and realised that I am so close to the ground so yay! !!! Day 6: Same as yesterday :( Day 7: I tried to do it without socks on to see if it would help but it really doesn’t so same as before Day 8: No progress Day 9: Still the same Day 10: I seem to be getting worse now lmao Day 11: I can do the stretches mostly as well as Donnie but same as before for the splits Day 12: I am a bit closer to the splits today Day 13: About a millimetre closer today Day 14: No change Day 15: Same as yesterday Day 16: The tiniest bit closer to the ground today Day 17: The same Day 18: A bit closer Day 19: Same as yesterday Day 20: I am so close now omg Day 21: Same Day 22: Same as yesterday Day 23: A little bit closer Day 24: Same as yesterday Day 25: Still the same Day 26: OMG I got my splits I'm so happy omg. Never give up guys if I can do it so can you. This video really works so highly recommended
I used to do this maybe 4-5 times per week back in high school when I was more athletic and almost got there. Then I got depressed and lost the motivation to exercise but now, after four years I'm back and this time I won't quit midway!
This video is extremelyy helpful!!! I've been doing these stretches once a day for 4 days now and I am already about 5 inches closer to the ground (almost touching!) this is a miracle thankss
Ultra Instinct Goku just make sure that you dont push your self more than your comfortable with and you'll be fine. Thats what i did, just push myself a little more each time and now i can do the splits with my right leg (still have to work on my left one though).
If anyone is wondering, these stretches really do work and it’s amazing. I do these stretches 3-4 times a week. When I first started, I was over 16 inches off the ground! Now, 2 months later, I am less than 3 inches from the ground! I will update this comment when I get the full splits! Edit: I did eventually get my front splits (on my good leg) after following these stretches for a few more months. It worked great. The key is consistency. It’s very easy to lose the flexibility you have gained if you don’t continue to routinely stretch.
I literally watched 14 videos on how to get the splits in a day, but none of them worked. I even tried doing them for weeks! But when I found this video, I actually improved after three follow-alongs. No lie! And after doing it five times a week, I got my splits in three weeks. Thank you so much! It really helped!! :D
I know, I honestly just feel better doing these, I'm doing them twice a day, and I feel my body going strong. I skipped one of the stretches yesterday and I think my body tightened up again :(, but I should be fine! But it really works.
I just moved north and have terrible balance. I'm doing this so that when I inevitably slip on a patch of ice and fall into the splits, I don't rip my leg muscles apart. Wish me luck!
REE. Girl. I followed this video maybe 1 year ago and i got my splits back then after i guess 1 or 2 months , but then i stopped stretching so i lost it :) but I’m trying to regain it😁 everyone can do it really u just have to keep trying even tho it’ll hurt so much
Jen Mackenzie well to be fair that doesn’t mean your inflexible that’s just means they’re flexible. Excuse me now I have to look up some sort of hip stretch so I can get into that position
I did this video every single day along with the other one(so 2 times a day) and got my splits within 12 days, comfortably. 3 years later and I still have them! my IG if u have questions: Samantha.Irina
It's Pink! just make sure you always warm up!! I found it hard to just get right into it. Jumping jacks, a quick jog or even a hot shower is the best way to do this
2 Week Update: After these first two weeks I can proudly say that I am actually seeing results! I can finally touch past my toes and I am getting closer and closer to the splits every day that I do it. At the moment, I'm almost at where Karina is. I know, it's not that great, but I'm not a naturally flexible person in the slightest. However, I am quite noticeably more flexible than how I was when I first started. I'll continue to keep updating this every other week. Hopefully, I will be at least where Karina is by the next update. 😊
I tried the workout in this video for almost a week, and it WORKED, guys. Before, I couldn't even touch my toes if I stand straight and bend down but now I CAN DO THE SPLITS. I succeeded today and although just yesterday, I felt like it wasn't working and almost decided to give up but fortunately, today I made it! Just do exactly what she said and you'll be fine. It doesn't have to be 10 seconds or more. I did for only almost 5 seconds for each posture and after a few days, you'll start to feel a lot more flexible. I spend like only 10 minutes a day. And I do this workout only once a day. But it worked out perfectly! Well, my split isn't the best you can see on videos; I still shake and it's not the straight, beautiful, perfect split but my thighs still touched the floor. And I can only do on my right side, though. I found that my left side isn't as flexible. You might feel like the progress doesn't show much even after days, but trust me, just do this routine every day and done. When you feel a bit more motivated, use that spirit to push yourself more. I did this alone, without any friend in my room and I sometimes feel like giving up but I did it and I'm sure you guys can too! Don't push yourself or you'll end up getting agitated, frustrated and lose motivation. Just do what you can and that's good enough for your body! Everyone's body is very different. The fact that you're taking this challenge is something not everyone can do and you're strong enough to do this. P.S. Whenever I do this, I don't starve myself or keep myself hungry because I may tremble due to hunger and eventually end the workout early. Be sure to at least fill yourself because it doesn't affect anything involving your flexibility. That's my opinion! Good luck with your workout, loves!
@@konstantinavio5498 u should because it warms up your muscles so itll be easier to stretch. I was in a dance class and we would excersise before stretching every day
adibah_ tofu | Thanks! Now i have the motivation i’m doing this for 6 days now and i still can’t do the split but i hope i can do the splits tommorow or later the day
I am determined to get my split so I will be following this everyday and will update when I have accomplished this feat and for anyone wondering I am not remotely flexible at all.
Day 7: still feeling very inflexible and not any closer to getting my splits but I realize these things take time. I have done this stretch for 7 days in a row. I will update in a week
Day 14: I have done the stretches everyday once per day for the past week and though I still have quite some time before being able to do a split the good news is I have noticed an increase in my flexibility. I am closer to the floor han I was last week and certainly the week before. Definitely encouraging. Will update in a week
i’m wayyyyy more flexible on my left side so i was surprised to hear you say it’s not as common! i didn’t know that! i can almost do a full split on my left side but i’m nowhere near with my right. i’m not sure why!
hey guys!!! I’m gonna update you guys on my progress since we’re all in quarantine haha!! I’m not a very flexible person at all, had no sports or anything or past experience, just weightlifted so If you’re like me and not really flexible this could help!! I’ll keep updating but here’s my first day: 1: I was barely able to do these but didn’t push myself to far to the point of pain. It was really tough, heard a couple bones crack LOL, but overall I’m really proud of it even though it was difficult. 2: Did the video twice (once in morning and once at night) just to see if it will help me get results faster since like I said, I’ve never been so flexible. I’m not pushing myself to extreme pain, but i haven’t really noticed a difference yet. I saw someone like this, but lmk if you guys want me to update everyday !!!
I self taught myself when i was seven,Then took a FOUR year break and couldn't do the splits so i watched this video every night for 4-5 days and i can finally do them!!
After doing this for 3 weeks, I finally can do my splits now! I was flexible as a brick when I started this. The left side is a little bit easier for me. But my right leg split needs more work. Thanks for this stretch video!
I've been doing this for almost a year and I finally can do a split. I always skip and that's why I'm really slow at getting it. Once I did not even do it for 3 months straightly. I'm really glad that I still can do it despite the fact that I rarely done it. I'm not really a flexible person from the beginning but slowly I managed to do it. But I still need to improve my left leg tho. Remember that everyone has different body types and for some, you might be able to do it quickly as for some it might took a longer time. I saw everyone in the comment trying to do this and I thought why not I share my experience. Hope this helps you to continue doing it ^.^
Okay WTF! Got the split after 4 days of stretching... seriously! Although I did some stretching exercises next to these, i’m still very suprised! I tried to stretch for 30 min after my training every day. It’s really crazy, because I’m a dude... From now on I’m gonna work on my form and train for the side splits. This really, really works! Thanks!
@INTJ-Scorpio-Sigma-Male Not everyone progresses at the same rate. Did you ever think that some people are more flexible or have less tension than you? Most cheerleaders in my school start freshman year unable to do the splits and a semester in they nail it
@INTJ-Scorpio-Sigma-Male It's proven by science that there are different types of tissues and calogens people can have. Most people have the sturdy type 1, but some have a more stretchy type 3 calogen. These people are naturally more flexible. So if this person were to have those calogens, they're perfectly capable of doing the splits in 4 days. You said it yourself, it's harder for you because you have more muscle mass. (I added mass because when you stretch and are doing the splits, you're actually stretching the muscle out and creating more muscle. So flexible people also have more muscle than the average person. You however have muscle mass) If said person doesn't have this extra muscle mass you do, it's also easier and faster to do the splits. There are different factors that contribute to how long someone can learn things like the splits. You're personal experience doesn't reflect what everyone else's is. If he did it in 4 days than so be it, some people are just born with natural flexibility.
OMG TYSM 💕💕 I have been doing this for 11 days and I already got the splits!!! And for anyone who's trying to get their splits, I guarantee you that this works. you just gotta be patient, do this everyday and just listen to your body
I got my splits in a week. but I did this religiously two times a day (morning and night) some stretches are hard at the beginning and you won't be able to do them but it gets better
im sure she's naturally flexible, maybe 5 inches from the ground when she started? because inflexible people like me are not likely to be able to do it in a week. I might need a few more months, im still 6 inches off the ground though I have been stretching for one and a half month
I cannot tell you how happy I am about the improvement I have made already! I've been doing these stretches once or twice a day every day for a week now and no, I still cannot do the splits, but I've improved so much with all the other stretches! I can touch my toes in all of them now and even put my nose onto my knee with my lega all straight! Thank you! I will keep on doing those!
My goal is to get my splits by the end of this school year. With this video, I feel really confident because I was doing the stretches while watching the video and I could feel it. Not to mention all the positive feedback in the comments.
I think the middle splits is the hardest splits to achieve. But with daily stretching (twice a day really helps), you'll most likely be able to get it soon. Good luck!
This was the first video that I tried that I actually felt a deep stretch I just did it the first time yesterday and I'm already a little bit more flexible
I'm still doing it everyday! It was my 5th day. Although no one seems to appreciate, I do. I am observably getting more flexible. Never thought I would. I feel like I'm gonna go crazy the day I do the splits.
lol once i stretched every day, morning and night for a couple weeks (i was sooo unflexible) and one day I got them, i got so excited, i ran to get my babysitter and when i went to show her I could'nt do it. I only ever did the splits for a few seconds... Still havent been able to do it till this day... been over 8 years...
I'm almost 40 and never done the splits. I've gained 50 lbs over the last three years by eating and not exercising, not even the funnest "exercise" you can think of. I'm super stiff to the point I can bend forwards on the half split. Determined to keep it up to see if I can FINALLY do the splits. Thanks for the vid! Update: 1wk in, a little more flexible but still can't move forward in half split Update: 2 wks in... can bend forward a little now in the half split! Also getting closer to resting my chest on my knee. Great stretches!! Going to keep going...
day 1: i am very far from my goal, still 2/5 of an arm lenght from the ground. but i have noticed some strange things. The hardest part for me, other than bending my back is actually keeping my leg straight, it hurts at the back of my knee. so i just want to bend it. also when bending backwards i can easily lay on my back barely feeling a stretch, but forward i can barely even tuch the ground with my hands.
JokarGirl Keeping your legs straight when they tell you to is very important to gaining the flexibility you want so keep trying! Maybe each time you straighten your legs more and more until you get it. You having trouble bending forward just means you'll have to work on that more than bending backward.
JokarGirl day 2: i dont think i am closer to the ground than yesterday. but i already feel better at the different positions, and everything seemed easyer! amazing! i think i might just make it before august!
Progress report: Start date: 26/9/2019 Day 1: Over a ruler from the ground, struggle to keep up, for the first stretch I can only touch the ground just below my knee and can't bend my body over my legs much at all. Day 2: I found it easier to preform the stretches and I feel I am working on the right areas. *Took a 5 day break because I was moving rooms and didn't have space to do it* Day 7: I think I’m improving a bit Day 8: I definitely feel like I’m improving even though I’m not that flexible
Omfg ive been a stripper for 3 years and only recently actually started working on my splits. This video got me at least and inch or 2 lower to the ground. I usually stretch everyday but i didnt know all of these different poses. Imma go to work in a week and drop down into my splits outta nowhere. Thanks so much for this video
I did this for a month and it worked I can hit the splits right down on the floor it’s great just keep watching and following and you’ll get it❤️❤️❤️❤️
Giannis Mavrommatis i got my splits in 1 month maybe less :3 now.. 1 year later i can do a split having my legs in chairs :) anyways dont give up :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Today marks a year of me following this routine and I have to share how beneficial it was for me. I still can't do the full split but I am so close. After just a couple of weeks you will notice significant improvement in your flexibility and no more lower back pain. I started it with the firm goal to get that split but what kept me going is the energy you get after the session. If you choose to follow this routine or any other yoga routine, for that matter, my advice is that once you learn it, do it yourself. Listen to your body and enjoy every move. Have a good day!
People keep saying they're going to update but don't lol I started yesterday, I'm doing it once a day. The first time I was able to achieve a little more than the other girl in this vid (I pole dance & do yoga so I'm a little more flexible). When I tried it again tonight I was able to touch my toes during the side stretch on both sides! I'm currently about 7 inches from the ground when I try to do the splits. I'll keep everyone updated ☺
Day 5! I took a day off from doing it bc my muscles were pretty sore. But I'm about 5 1/2 inches from the ground now. I can touch my knee with my forehead when doing the side stretch & touch my chest to my knees when I'm doing the last stretch before going into the splits.
These comments are making me feel so much better 🤣 I feel so stiff that I don’t think doing this twice a day for a month is going to make even the slightest difference lmao Cheetos, nomnomnom
Thank you sooo much!! I've been dancing for 6 years and I could never get my splits and I realized it was because my hip flexors made everything tight. This was awesome and made me flexible! Thank you! I can't thank you enough!!
I'm gonna log every day until I get a full split 1st day: The first time I did it, I was very stiff and found it hard to do the easier versions of the stretch. The second time I did it, it felt a lot better. I was able to go deeper in the stretch. 2nd day: Only did it once because I forgot to do it earlier. But I was able to see minor improvements. Definitely gonna make up for the time I missed tomorrow. 3rd day: Did it once this morning. My legs are always really tight in the morning, making it hard for me to get deep in the stretch. Did some yoga throughout the day which helped. Also some more stretch videos. Did it once at night and seen minor improvements. 4th day: Just finished. Planning on doing this video every morning and night. This morning was hard. Legs were feeling the stretch for sure. Getting closer to the split though which is what matters most to me. 5th day: Just finished stretching this morning. Obviously very painful but felt good. My right split is getting lower and lower every day which is motivating me a lot. Already see a lot of progress. Did it again at night. I can see myself getting lower by a cm a day. 6th day: I just finished the stretch. I'm definitely at least 2 inches lower than when I started, maybe even more. This routine is definitely working. 2nd time I did it, it felt really good. My flexibility is improving a lot. 7th day: Finally hit a week. I just finished this morning. I don't think I got any lower from the last time I did it. I think progress might slow down from here. But that won't stop me. 8th day: Finished today. Getting closer to that split but not there yet. Don't see myself stopping anytime soon. Hurts while I'm stretching but I feel great after. 9th day: Still very painful. Don't think I'm getting any closer but I'm able to do the modified versions with no problem. I'll keep you updated.
I’ve been doing stretches for two months now and maybe this video will help me with the last few inches of my splits but I’m miles closer than I was before, don’t give up :)
trying to get as flexible as possible..I do Xtend Barre & really need to improve my flexibility, I plan to do your stretches daily ! hoping to achieve the splits eventually! I'll keep you posted
I did this video because I desperately need a stretching routine. I found out I was super tight but it did make me feel better by the end of the routine. I will definitely need to do this video a few times a week to get some of my flexibility back. Thanks for sharing!
I was about 5 inches from getting to my splits the other day. I did this today, and i was about two inches from the ground. I hope to have my splits by the end of next week. So, in like 7 days. This was an awesome video because it shows different stretches then what I was using!! It really works. Just keep at it y'all!!!
+Ksen K awh no don't give up, some people did it in a day and so you could do it in a shorter time than me too. Plus I gave up a few times and had to start again when I felt like it
Aaah. 2 years! Congratulations. That's inspirational. I've been doing it for a month and felt like I could never do it but your comment encouraged me to continue. Thank you!
+Fatema Haque You can do it! I started the least flexible person in the world, and half a year later i can do. The splits. You just have toward hard and you will get it. I stretched around 1 hour a day, every day, and got the splits.
Gonna try to do this while in quarantine 👀 I'm the most inflexible person you will meet so let's gooo Day 1 can't do the first pike position. Everything is modified
I've been stretching daily for months now and in the beginning I saw a lot of progress but at some point I didn't really see any progress anymore and I've been trying different stretch routines. I tried this one and it's amazing!! after the first time of doing this I instantly saw results and I'm so happy I found this!!
When I was 14 years, i had no idea about stretching and flexibility. But I ran into this video and I got my splits almost 3 months after following this video. Now I am 22 years old. And I commenting while doing my splits ♥️♥️♥️
I was around 10-12 watching this video too at the time and I was consistent everyday and actually achieved them. I’m coming back a few years later and I’m now turning 20 next month! I can agree this video really really helped me
I have a 30 day commitment to get into the splits for a fitness competition. I am NOT flexible but workout daily with a touch of stretching. I have been doing this for less than a week faithfully and will continue do it for the full 30 days but have already seen a slight difference. I WILL get into the splits this time!!!
I started doing this 6 days ago and have done it everyday. I used to be 5 feet off the ground when doing it, now I'm less than 1 foot off the ground! No joke. Thank you so much for this. I want to be a ballet dancer soon.
Gonna document how it goes Day 1: I've just started and I'm terrible so let's see if I'm better tommorow Day 2: Same result I wasn't really expecting anything new. I'm probably 5 inches off the ground(I used to know how to do a split but I lost it) Day 3: stretches are a little bit easier for me. My sister just started and she was in pain since it's her first day. Still like 5 inches away from the ground maybe a cm closer😭 but we'll see how I feel tomorrow Day 4: same as yesterday :( Day 5: I'm getting really good and flexible with the stretches. Their way easier now then the first day. I also do other exercises since I'm in basketbal and track so this might have a effect on how quick I get finished. Day 6: I'm about 3 more inches till I get my splits. I'm seeing a lot of progress but other than that same as yesterday. : ) Day 7: a lil closer Day 8: skipped Day 9: all the stretches were easier than ever and I'm about 2 and a half inches on both left and right legs👍🏽 Day 10: Skipped : 0 Day 11: same as Day 9 Day 12: skipped I'm not skipping anymore for now on Day 13: A lil closer, stretches kinda hurt because I was skipping days but I'm gonna push through 🤟🏽 Day 14: same as yesterday but I ain't gone give up. Day 15: a lil closer, like I said before the stretches have gotten so much easier I can almost do it like donny
Day 1. I am not flexible at all (can't even touch my toes), but I do keep pretty fit. This was extremely difficult for me and I didn't get much stretch in my back/spine because my body isn't ready for that yet. After stretching, my legs feel great though. I'll keep everyone updated and I'm excited to see how this goes!
Day 2. Completed without video guidance. Held each stretch for 30 sec (with the exception of that front back thing with the first half split position, where I held each for 10 sec. before switching back and forth). Still very difficult, definitely a lot of groaning and protesting limbs, but I know this will get easier over time. I also added pigeon pose at the end just to kind of round everything out. I will likely update once a week, although I will do these stretches every morning.
Day 5. Less than a week and already showing improvement! At the beginning of stretching, I can't touch my toes, but by the end, I do the toe-touch stretch to see if I can do it this time and sure enough, I can! My splits are already a lot lower to the ground than I thought they would be at this point, so I may reach my splits faster than I thought I would.
Day 9. WHOA. Significant improvements already. I only missed one morning of stretching but other than that I've been consistent. I've gotten to the point where I can point my toes in all the stretches and I can touch my ankles when I do the first toe-touch stretch (before it was the top of my shins). I could list all my other improvements but I think it's kinda self-explanatory: basically, I can stretch more deeply.
My hoop teacher asked me where I got my flexibility from. These videos are actually the foundation of my flexibility. It’s a fun coincidence to see it suggested on my youtube!
I'm going to do this every day for one month and I'm going to report on my progress HERE. I'm VERY unflexible so let's see how this goes! Day 1: Everything hurts. I'm very far away from the ground, way further than Corinna (the girl on the right) is when she is doing the splits. Update: I did it a second time in the evening, my legs are shaking.
Day 2: woke up with sore muscles. I discovered that the worst exercise for me is the one where you sit down and reach forward. It's even hard for me to reach the ground with my elbows! Evening exercise: Every position hurt. Will keep you updated.
Day 3: Didn't hear my alarm, so I couldn't stretch in the morning and had to do it during lunch break. I discovered that while the sitting-and-leaning-forward-position is the hardest for me, it's WAY harder to get there than to stay there. Big progress: on my right side, I can now rest my head on the ground while doing that one terrible position! Yay! Evening practise: Somehow, attempting the splits on my right side is very hard for me all of a sudden. Can't hold that position for longer than a couple seconds.
Day 5: Did a more relaxed routine in the morning and one where I pushed myself more in the evening. My left side is definitely more flexible than my right side lol. Maybe it's because of that pulled muscle. Anyway, I'm also definitely more flexible than 5 days ago!
Day 6: I'm not seeing a lot of improvement right now to be honest. I don't know why but the different exercises seem to be as hard as they were in the beginning. I am more flexible (closer to the ground when I attempt the splits) though. Evening: First time that I was not somewhat excited to do it lol. I promised myself not to lose motivation after a couple of days like all the others. You'll keep hearing from me!
What makes this video stand out is having Donnie to show us our goal and Karina (representing us the beginners), to show how people begin, which is encouraging me. Because the other videos I have watched are professionals doing the exercises effortless and thinking everybody can do that easily, as if mocking us :D So, anyway... Thank you for the video! I will be doing it in the next days.
+Dharren Dangerous it's taking me around a month or two to get the full split. Most people who are saying they got theirs in a day or a week are usually those who are already really flexible. I don't really have experience with this kind of stuff and I'm only doing it cause I made the cheerleading team.
+Alyssa Gaunichaux SAME I made my high school cheer team and I made varsity and they expect us to have splits but I don't have mine :( hopefully this video helps :)
88IrishEyes I just started dancing in August and I wasn't flexible at all. I kept stretching as much as I could and always pushed past my limits. Your body will quickly get used to the pain and muscles will begin to relax. I'm now close to my splits on both sides. Just stretch and you will get more flexible and get your splits before the end of the year!
Hannah Paton thank you for responding to me, gives me hope that I'll get there! I'm overweight but I am trying to lose weight so hopefully that'll make it easier too lol. What type of dancing are you doing?
Alright I've been doing this routine every day for 4 weeks now and it's been hard (motivationally and physically), but now it's actually something I look forward to (on most days haha) and I also have seen some great improvements! I will keep going until I get my splits!! I'll keep you posted
I'm promising that I'm gonna keep y'all updated on how I'm doing with this (everyday for now and then every other day or two days when school starts up) because I'm really trying to learn the splits and see how long it will take. Right now I'm not flexible AT ALL lol so we'll see how this goes!!
Day 2: Okay so I do see a tiny bit of improvement (hey I'll take a little over nothing) but of course it does take a while to see drastic results so I'll keep updating
Day 3: I'm seeing a little improvement in my flexibility but it's still a small amount. But it will take some time to see huge improvement so I'm still gonna keep going!!
Day 4: Woah I'm actually seeing some noticeable improvement in my flexibility today. I was able to do some deeper stretches and I got pretty close to the ground when it came time to do the splits at the end!! Plus it didn't hurt as much as it used to. I'm probably taking a break tomorrow since I'll be gone all day and since I read that you should take a break in between exercises if you're exercising everyday but I'll be back to it on Saturday :)
Note from Day 4: So to my luck I'm sick now and really haven't been up all day so I'll have to postpone the exercise again and see if I can do it tomorrow
It's the best combination of stretches I've done. I've done other ones that also helped me to improve my flexibility but this one is hands down the most effective. Don't be discouraged if you cannot do it as it is shown, when I started I couldn't put my elbows on the ground, it's been 5 days and I already can do it and I'm like 3 cm closer to full split (only right leg) if not more

Can you do both side and middle
@@abbycalhoun759 I can do both front splits but not the box splits yet. I stopped stretching for a few months but I'm getting back into it!
Awesome 👌
I'll tell you my experience
day 1-when I first started to try this I was worst then karina I was literally 1ruler off the ground
day 2- so I saw one comment that it would be more helpful if you do it atleast 2 or more a day
day 3- it was painful but it was worth it I got a little bit closer to the ground but I was still a brick at flexibility
day 4- I was a daredevil I challenged myself to do it and push myself further past my limits
day 5- yesterday was a miracle I'm 13 inches above the ground might be lame for you guys but for I feel proud
fast forward
in total it's been 3 weeks and I can do the splits now! this really helps!
the challenge was doing it 5-6 times a day
INTJ-Scorpio-Sigma-Male are you commenting this on everyone’s? And 7 years? Are you the damn tin man? It took me like a week when I was younger and now I’ve seen progress after 3 days.
@INTJ-Scorpio-Sigma-Male 7 years? OMG that's sad lol
I did it in three months 😂
@@TheSuperNats This dude has to go around comments saying I dont believe you just cause he was flexible, he thinks we all structured the same
Everyone is different. In the comments you might see some people say it took them 3 days, and some will say it took months or even years. But not everyone is as flexible as the other, or has the same bone structure. But, even though it might take a while, keep practicing and you'll get better.💛
The Sercle Thank you....I am making slow progress
Your right
thank you for this sweet comment i really appreciate it keep up the kindness!
The Sercle thank you so much I’ve been trying for months and I’m seeing progress but I need some work
Side note: Usually only people who have been able to do the splits before but fell out of it by not doing stretches can get heir splits in a week or less so don’t hurt yourselves trying to get it in a week
After stretching every day for a little over 2 months, I finally got the splits! I 100% recommend that you all try this video, and DON'T GIVE UP!
Did you do the streaches several times a day or once a day?
Amanda Ross you should do it once a day. If you do several times, there is more of a chance that you could tare a muscle
Hhg
EDIT: I'm back! Gave my hamstrings a break and went to therapy, so we're back in business. I'll be giving my daily reports from May 18th in the reply section of this post.
See you then!
.
Pre- Injury report:
Gonna document this and actually stick to it.
I'll update it every few days, as I plan to do these twice a day - once in the morning and once at night
Day 1: Super tough.
Helps to warm up all the muscles before attempting this video, as it's actually pretty advanced.)
Day 7: I'm still a bit tight tbh, but I can see the improvements.
More update please
Girl we need updates 😂
@@XxFroggy_girlxX lol 18th* I'm beginning tomorrow I didn't realize I had the wrong date 😂
May 18th- Day 1 (forgot to post)
Today was good.
+Sophie Layton - it painful just watching this, i'm gonna give it a try ......
+Ernie Griff good for you! Once you get half good at it, it can actually be vaguely relaxing... I definitely recommend putting some music on or something though. I sometimes revise while I stretch to take my mind of it and save time. Good Luck 🙃
im a masochist ill give it a try haha
+Sophie Layton IKR Everyone is like this doesn't work because it hurts. Stop being a damn wuss it ain't that bad. And your totally right. She literally says "Don't over-work yourself if it's to much of a stretch." There's no need to hate if you don't like it. If you don't like it then stop posting dumb comments that nobody wants to read and click the dislike button. It's simple as that.
it worked for me and I'm 10
I love how all these people that commented like 8 months ago said they were going to update everybody on their progress untill they are able to do the splits but they stopped at day two😂😂

@@nicolezamora2228 yeah.. so🤔 i can still say that i find the comments funny
E. M. Well i just started commenting my progress yesterday, and im doing that to help fuel my motivation!:)
So, now that i finally did it i can share my splits-story:
I‘m a 25 year old mom of 2 toddlers and somehow had the urge to finally get my splits (i was never before able to, but have never REALLY tried).
To all of you guys out there trying to reach your goals- it pays off to work hard- you can do it 💪🏼

Just wondering if u got it in the end? :)

How’s your flexibility 5 years later?! Are you able to do the splits now?
I literally watched 14 videos on how to get the splits in a day, but none of them worked. I even tried doing them for weeks! Yes! Keep us updated! :)
P.S.- Pretty sure I misspelled Karina/Corrina's name. Sry 😋
how much time per day do you do it?
veronica swoish an hour or two
I tried the workout in this video for almost a week, and it WORKED, guys.
Congrats!! I have a question. Did you do warm up first?
@@konstantinavio5498 u should because it warms up your muscles so itll be easier to stretch. I was in a dance class and we would excersise before stretching every day

I self taught myself when i was seven,Then took a FOUR year break and couldn't do the splits so i watched this video every night for 4-5 days and i can finally do them!!
starting this right now, i'm gonna keep ya'll updated!
soup alright good luck!!
soup how is it going? any more flexible?
Aurelye venegas yes, it's working great! i'm definitely more flexible than before. it isn't much but it is something :)
Now?
wat about now
Nice user and ppl John Kuckian is greatt
After doing this for 3 weeks, I finally can do my splits now! I was flexible as a brick when I started this. The left side is a little bit easier for me. But my right leg split needs more work. Thanks for this stretch video!
Did you do this everyday for 3 weeks?
Yomna Mohamed Yes
Really ? That's awesome . Do you have a partner when you the stretch ?
Jalen Amit Nope I stretched alone :)
how old are you?
I farted after the second stretch and gave up
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
mood😂
Lol
your mom lol 😂 I am dead
lol(btw army)😂💜
So excited I finally got my splits!!! Wanted to say I huge thank you to the PsycheTruth team :)
danielle smith Awesome. Congradulations!
danielle smith really ! congradulations did you spend a long time to do it ?
Souid Najet Come on man it was a mistake!!!
RobloxFilmProducful/RBX Videos & Car Vids what mistake ? what are you talking about !?
Souid Najet Dude...I am talking about them spelling it wrong, it was just a mistake..
Hope this helps you to continue doing it ^.^
KittyCutey12 😊well done i feel happy for u
Thanks!
Zeno Schaekers good for you
@INTJ-Scorpio-Sigma-Male Not everyone progresses at the same rate.
Congrats! Can u share the other stretching exercises u used as well?
INTJ-Scorpio-Sigma-Male sorry but not everyone has same body types. I’m nearly able to do splits and I don’t even do any sports
OMG TYSM 💕💕 I have been doing this for 11 days and I already got the splits!!! And for anyone who's trying to get their splits, I guarantee you that this works. you just gotta be patient, do this everyday and just listen to your body
I got my splits in a week.
but I did this religiously two times a day (morning and night)
some stretches are hard at the beginning and you won't be able to do them but it gets better
Excuse me does this include a middle split??
Sweet Pearl no. I wasn't interested in middle splits so I didn't even try. but they are super hard to do even for flexible people.
Meko how far were you from the ground would you say when you started?
Meko I didn't even think about doing it at night thank you 🙂
im sure she's naturally flexible, maybe 5 inches from the ground when she started? because inflexible people like me are not likely to be able to do it in a week. I might need a few more months, im still 6 inches off the ground though I have been stretching for one and a half month
you make it look so easy
Melina G it is easy and it worked
no, this video worked on me. By watching this video 4 times a week you can be able to do split too
ipek Gül how long did it take you to do splits?
Duygu it take just three weeks
_How does a bastard, orphan.._
I agree with you LOL :-)
If this is for beginners, I don't even want to know what for experts looks like.
Yep me too
Imao
Hahaha I know right 😅😄
Experts are doing splits
@@Raju-wb9ni PLS YOUR COMMENT HAS A TRANSLATE FOR ENGLISH
My goal is to get my splits by the end of this school year. With this video, I feel really confident because I was doing the stretches while watching the video and I could feel it. Not to mention all the positive feedback in the comments.
Just measured myself. I'm 10 inches away from the splits on my left side and a little bit less on my right. This is after...3 days?
Aww thanks. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to stretch everyday this week, but thanks anyway! :)
I think the middle splits is the hardest splits to achieve. But with daily stretching (twice a day really helps), you'll most likely be able to get it soon. Good luck!
That is my goal too!
Update: 1wk in, a little more flexible but still can't move forward in half split
Update: 2 wks in... can bend forward a little now in the half split! Also getting closer to resting my chest on my knee. Great stretches!! Going to keep going...
Hey! How is it going? :) Can you give us some updates? I need motivation :D
Any updates?
I’m curious to know how it’s going
LetSparty AllTheTime | i thought only 11-16 would do this but hey you gOt ur splits!!!
Nobody:
Me before doing the WAP Dance Challenge😏
HWHAHAHAHAHAHA SAME OMG
hahaha im here for the WAP challenge too!!! lol
MANE WHATTT THATS WHY IM HERE😭😭😭😭😭
Omfg..
SAMEEE HAAHAHAG
im doing this, and many other balance and flexibility workouts,
untill i can afford ballet practise. (i think i can start in 1 year)
wish me luck!
day 1: i am very far from my goal, still 2/5 of an arm lenght from the ground.
but i have noticed some strange things.
Ballet is awesome. :3 Right now I take modern dance, so I want to increase my flexibility. Good luck!
JokarGirl
day 2:
i dont think i am closer to the ground than yesterday. but i already feel better at the different positions, and everything seemed easyer! amazing!
i think i might just make it before august!
JokarGirl
day 3: same as yesterday, i got a little better at the stretching, but not closer to the ground =)
itll come, i'm sure.
Progress report:
Start date: 26/9/2019
Day 1: Over a ruler from the ground, struggle to keep up, for the first stretch I can only touch the ground just below my knee and can't bend my body over my legs much at all.
Day 2: I found it easier to preform the stretches and I feel I am working on the right areas.
*Took a 5 day break because I was moving rooms and didn't have space to do it*
Day 7: I think I’m improving a bit
Day 8: I definitely feel like I’m improving even though I’m not that flexible
Omfg ive been a stripper for 3 years and only recently actually started working on my splits. This video got me at least and inch or 2 lower to the ground. I usually stretch everyday but i didnt know all of these different poses. Imma go to work in a week and drop down into my splits outta nowhere. Thanks so much for this video
A stripper?
@@xxciarasgamesxxciara9914 Apparently? That's what she said..
nice! I bet that will help you make $$$ on stage! :D
Indiestripper yesss congrats
Arctic Angel Wolf Silver Ruby no but she wanted to say so let her?
Oh hell no. I was doing the second stretch and almost saw God.
Im cracking up bc of this comment 😂
I died
I literally died when i saw this comment 🤣
Hahahahahah same
Me too my in in heaven
I did this for a month and it worked I can hit the splits right down on the floor it’s great just keep watching and following and you’ll get it❤️❤️❤️❤️
Omg!!!😄I finaly got my splits after 6 months of streching!!!
Giannis Mavrommatis Congratulations!
thank you so much!!!!! :) :D
how often did you stretch?
6 months ? How many days a week ? and how long each day?
Giannis Mavrommatis i got my splits in 1 month maybe less :3
now..
Guys I did this for 4 months and it actually worked I can do the splits now I can go debut in a kpop girl group bye
I spotted another k pop fan trying to do the choreos 😂😂 I'm with you
People keep saying they're going to update but don't lol I started yesterday, I'm doing it once a day.
Skittlez Cano update :)
Update plz
How's it going we need an update!
Skittlez Cano see you didn't update either
Me: I’m gonna get my splits
Also me: lays in bed while eating Cheeto puffs
You don’t need to be fit to do splits, I used to be a little overweight when I was younger but I could do splits.
my name is moon can you give me your whatsapp number pleas
@• Anixxu • imfao
These comments are making me feel so much better 🤣 I feel so stiff that I don’t think doing this twice a day for a month is going to make even the slightest difference lmao
Cheetos, nomnomnom
Thank you sooo much!! I've been dancing for 6 years and I could never get my splits and I realized it was because my hip flexors made everything tight. This was awesome and made me flexible! Thank you! I can't thank you enough!!
I'm gonna log every day until I get a full split
1st day: The first time I did it, I was very stiff and found it hard to do the easier versions of the stretch.
Keep going 🦋♥️
I’ve been doing stretches for two months now and maybe this video will help me with the last few inches of my splits but I’m miles closer than I was before, don’t give up :)
"I'll keep you updated"
and the updates stopped 😂
Sorry I got my full split on both sides
trying to get as flexible as possible..I do Xtend Barre & really need to improve my flexibility, I plan to do your stretches daily ! hoping to achieve the splits eventually! I'll keep you posted
Yes! Keep us updated! :)
how much time will it take to fo the split
I think she died 😂
I did this everyday for 3 months and I got the splits with out it hurting now!!☺️thx
Logan 4 life (how old are u tho
I did this video because I desperately need a stretching routine. I found out I was super tight but it did make me feel better by the end of the routine. I will definitely need to do this video a few times a week to get some of my flexibility back. Thanks for sharing!
I KNOW!!! I THOUGHT I WAS FLEXIBLE TOO!! Jen Hilman's stretch is much easier to follow! Just saying!
I'm going to check out Jen Hilman. Thanks for the suggestion!
Storm Chisolm Thank you so much, i wasnt able to use this, but I can use her's. Thank you so much!
I was about 5 inches from getting to my splits the other day. I did this today, and i was about two inches from the ground. I hope to have my splits by the end of next week. So, in like 7 days. This was an awesome video because it shows different stretches then what I was using!! It really works. Just keep at it y'all!!!
this is the best splits video ever, i watched this video for 2 years and i got the splits on January 2016! thankyou ❤️
IT TOOK YOU TWO YEARS? omg I can't do this for much longer...
Thank you!
+Fatema Haque you're welcome! I'm so glad, you should definitely keep going!
+Fatema Haque
You can do it! I started the least flexible person in the world, and half a year later i can do. The splits. You just have toward hard and you will get it. I stretched around 1 hour a day, every day, and got the splits.
Gonna try to do this while in quarantine 👀 I'm the most inflexible person you will meet so let's gooo
Day 1 can't do the first pike position. Everything is modified
so how is it going ? I'm thinking of starting this tomorrow after my workouts!
Am I the only one reading these peoples comments that they’ve mastered it and getting jealous or... 😂😂 I’ll get there slowly
Nope I am too lmao
Did you get there yet?
I am
well my, right leg will get there soon
There are many techniques to do the splits mine is one of the best

Dizy once a day one day break. I can duo the splits now and I only did this vidio . trust me. I was really inflexible, now i can do it
2 Years and it didn't work
It worked !!! I was so inflexible
!!
I have a 30 day commitment to get into the splits for a fitness competition. I am NOT flexible but workout daily with a touch of stretching. I have been doing this for less than a week faithfully and will continue do it for the full 30 days but have already seen a slight difference. I WILL get into the splits this time!!!
How'd it go?
My friend sent me the link to this vid and she was able to do it in one month and she was flexible ish like me. I'm gonna do this everyday!
GUYSSS!!!! It works I promise!
iTyreana
WOW! Who would have though? Thanks for the information!
iTyreana I need to get this. How many times do you do this per week?
I know how to do a middle split
Really? Thx I was about to NOT try this
How many times do you need to do this per week?
I started doing this 6 days ago and have done it everyday. I used to be 5 feet off the ground when doing it, now I'm less than 1 foot off the ground! No joke. Thank you so much for this. I want to be a ballet dancer soon.
Its Nomzzy how could you be 5 feet off the ground?
it's raining exotic buters Maybe she meant inches?
You assumed its gender. I am now reporting you for cyber bullying. (jk)
xArchie omg
sorry u have to go to jail sir/ms/other
Gonna document how it goes
Day 1: I've just started and I'm terrible so let's see if I'm better tommorow
Day 2: Same result I wasn't really expecting anything new. I'm probably 5 inches off the ground(I used to know how to do a split but I lost it)
Day 3: stretches are a little bit easier for me. My sister just started and she was in pain since it's her first day. Still like 5 inches away from the ground maybe a cm closer😭 but we'll see how I feel tomorrow
Day 4: same as yesterday :(
Day 5: I'm getting really good and flexible with the stretches. Their way easier now then the first day. I also do other exercises since I'm in basketbal and track so this might have a effect on how quick I get finished.
Day 6: I'm about 3 more inches till I get my splits. I'm seeing a lot of progress but other than that same as yesterday. : )
Day 7: a lil closer
Day 8: skipped
Day 9: all the stretches were easier than ever and I'm about 2 and a half inches on both left and right legs👍🏽
Day 10: Skipped : 0
Day 11: same as Day 9
Day 12: skipped I'm not skipping anymore for now on
Day 13: A lil closer, stretches kinda hurt because I was skipping days but I'm gonna push through 🤟🏽
Day 14: same as yesterday but I ain't gone give up.
Day 15: a lil closer, like I said before the stretches have gotten so much easier I can almost do it like donny
I believe in uuuuu
@@99suad thx so much
@@dacaisingletary hows it going?I'm about to start this, this comment made me believe I could do it 😂😂
@@4qraa I've had so much progress more than the first days still not there but Ill say I'm probably 1 and a half inches from the ground
Girl did you get your splits and she keeps keeping her elbow on the ground and it’s hurts more than me
Day 18. Getting closer and closer to my splits every day!
(I can rest my fingers on the floor during standing toe-touch stretches now!)
Thanks for the updates, how old are you l?
I want to cry it's painful thank you
same here hah
Laila Same over here
It's not that bad but at first for me I screamed 😭
If someone is able to do split, Will they be able to kick higher too?
Probably
Gregi Ginger yes
Definitely, even u get a tiny bit more flexible it helps with leg holds and leg kicks
Do oversplits they help alot
Yay im glad theres 2 girls with different skill sets. That way when I convince my little cousin to do this she wont feel discouraged 😁😁
IT WORKED AS OMGGG I CAN DO THE SPLITS NOW YyyyeeeeeYYYYYYYYYYY
when you gotta stretch before you stretch
ikr💀
I’ve been using this video for the last week now. I’m still like “dang let me get into position first” 😂
My hoop teacher asked me where I got my flexibility from.
Keep up the good work and updates!
I can do the splits because of this video thanks!!!!!
Just started this around a week ago (maybe?) and my legs are already feeling so much more flexible. I'll update when I can finally do it! :)
Did you do it?
Did you do it ?

can u pls update?

What makes this video stand out is having Donnie to show us our goal and Karina (representing us the beginners), to show how people begin, which is encouraging me. Because the other videos I have watched are professionals doing the exercises effortless and thinking everybody can do that easily, as if mocking us :D So, anyway... Thank you for the video! I will be doing it in the next days.
That's good ...but the best way to do a split is..

To pour some water on floor and then slip on it...😂😂😂
That's how I did mine lol, I'm in Pain

Omg!!! I was super unflexable until I watched this video!!!! I CAN ALMOST DO THE SPLITS!!!! Thank you!
+Madeline Nonnenmann how many days did you practice until you got more flexible?
+Dharren Dangerous it's taking me around a month or two to get the full split. Most people who are saying they got theirs in a day or a week are usually those who are already really flexible. I don't really have experience with this kind of stuff and I'm only doing it cause I made the cheerleading team.
+Alyssa Gaunichaux SAME I made my high school cheer team and I made varsity and they expect us to have splits but I don't have mine :( hopefully this video helps :)
Alyssa Gaunichaux thanks im a guy though haha ill try it when i have free time cause im busy studying
really
I have a goal this year to be able to do the splits by the end of the year, im not very flexible, is this a realistic goal?
88IrishEyes I just started dancing in August and I wasn't flexible at all. I kept stretching as much as I could and always pushed past my limits. Your body will quickly get used to the pain and muscles will begin to relax. I'm now close to my splits on both sides. Just stretch and you will get more flexible and get your splits before the end of the year!
Hannah Paton thank you for responding to me, gives me hope that I'll get there! I'm overweight but I am trying to lose weight so hopefully that'll make it easier too lol. What type of dancing are you doing?
88IrishEyes yea
88IrishEyes yup
88IrishEyes me at the end of the year is no change or improvement at all smh
This is actually one of the best stretch routines I’ve seen! Most videos don’t help stretch out your quads good enough, but this really helps

Yo why dose it look so easy in the video but when I try it it's like I need the ambulance.......
ᏀαмеᎡ ᏀᎥᎡᏝ ᏢᎦ ᏀαмᎥηᏣ снαηει I don't need ambulance :v but my bone gonna be broken
Thanks
this is the most accurate comment ever lol
Yeah true because I’m only 8 years old and the video looks so easy but I broke my leg by twisting it 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I'm promising that I'm gonna keep y'all updated on how I'm doing with this (everyday for now and then every other day or two days when school starts up) because I'm really trying to learn the splits and see how long it will take. Right now I'm not flexible AT ALL lol so we'll see how this goes!!
Okay so I just finished doing the exercise and can I say I am freaking sore!! I'm gonna try to do the other video too to get a little more flexible
Don't be discouraged if you cannot do it as it is shown, when I started I couldn't put my elbows on the ground, it's been 5 days and I already can do it and I'm like 3 cm closer to full split (only right leg) if not more
It's pretty embarrassing how UN-flexible I am while going along to this video. 😩
Yeah I understand 😣😢
Me too! When she says to get elbows to the floor and I can barely get my palms on the floor 😭
You're not alone :)
You are not alone I'm with you
