Came back to your channel to see how things are going after the phenomenal Genji cinematic you did and I see you're going over the good ol' foundations for animations. I love to see it!
Amazing tutorial, for beginners and more advanced animators, you offer great tips and insight! The only thing I would critique is the key names (Extreme, Breakdown, In-betweens, etc.), it's helpful to have some sort of structure and plan before animating! :)
This vid was very clean and complete, loved it! I really like how smoothly you went from classic animation exercices to character animation, keep it up man!
hey i just watched your animation in unreal video, ive been doing animation in blender for so long, but there was a so much to catch up on haha, im gonna try and start learning how to do everything
You’re so good at animating, but i would like to make a request. Could you please make Goku becoming super sayan fort the first time? For honor of the master Akira Toriyama. It would be such a great thing. In case you will do it Thanks
Fantastic video! I noticed you're utilizing Maya. For beginners, would you suggest starting with Maya or Blender? While I'm aware that Maya's cost could be a considerable aspect to consider, are there any significant benefits or differences between the two, aside from the pricing?
Thank you! It depens on your goals. If you are interested in a career, you will have a better chance of finding a job using May, as this is the industry standard. But if you are studying animation for yourself and personal projects, then Blender will be a good solution, again, since it is free and actively growing. In general, If you can animate in one software, it wont be difficult to switch to another😉
Hey man, great video! I've got some questions. When dealing with shots, i see in your other videos you block out the movements first. But here it seams more you are going pose to pose?
Is there a list/checklist you have around you while you animate to keep all the principles and techniques in mind? Surely over time, you may naturally forget certain concepts and have to re-orient yourself
Hello, I'm starting to become a 3d animator and i really appreciate your content in order to help us getting started but do you perhaps have discord? If so id love to chat with you about a sespific style of animating and i think it could help some people out too

Hey man, great video! I've got some questions.

Thank you! Mostly I use layered method as in this video. Main motion first and secondary parts after. But in more complex shots, I use pose to pose :)
