@@FEboats the Mötley Crüe is a bad ass boat. I wish they still made those. 2200 from the blackjack 24 I would think would make a good motor for it. Currently, this one is running dynamite 2000 KV as my daughter drives it right now racing. I told her when she gets a little bit better a Don huff leopard 2200kv motor and Abc 1815 we’ll go into it, making it much faster.
@@mad_lizard oh that’s awesome! When the motley crew first came out I had a leopard 2200 and hydra 240 in it. Very fast! I’ve got 2 of them one with the stock tub and one with a carbon inlay like yours. Those videos are still floating around TH-cam.
One other thing, the firma 120 isn’t a direct drop in replacement. It mounts to the mounts but hits the motor. Could you come up with an adapter to make it a bolt in? Mines stuck behind the oem mount with scotch dual lock.
I have created a new mount for the esc and moves it slightly forward and mounting the new 120 amp esc to the stock post and to the carbon fiber mount. In video posted few days ago, New Changes and modifications 10 mins in I show this new way to mounting the esc. does require removing a bit of foam to make room for the 120 amp esc but does look cleaner
Love your motley crew. I stuck my bj24 v2 motor in one of mine.
