have you used one of these? wal mart has had them for a long time. trust me you aint getting through lol. the door will break before that bar will, it's basically the club for doors. i actually have the exact white one he has for a while now and it does have nice features, but i kinda liked my wal mart one better, it felt stronger because it didn't fold up. this white one, while i'm sure plenty strong, has a little flex. the wal mart one i had before felt like a solid heavy metal bar. btw he doesnt mention the price, but theyre about 20 bucks. very inexpensive. another thing i like is if you lived in an apt or something and dont want maintenance to surprise you, or any rental, airbnb etc where the owner having access to come in unannounced while you are home bothers you etc, one of these would come in handy for inexpensive peace of mind.
You have missed on this one. First, it should be only about 6 to 13 inches from the door depending upon handle height = RTDI (Read The Darned Instructions). Second, it should not go on area rugs with or without rubber backing = RTDI. Mine works as intended on clean ceramic tile, properly installed.
It depends on the door. For the door shown the pole is 43 inches from the door face and the floor. The floor distance from the door to the back of the square pad is 24 inches.

What kind of clamp did you use to stop the milk jug trick? Why would the clamp stop the trick?
