      Is this the reason why the overheating goes up and down? Cause mines claims it overheats but the oil pressure number jumps from 50-72 up down up down than back cold like nothing ever happened

    This worked for us as well. And our old sensor electric clip broke with the deepwellsocket. You have to be very careful when installing the new one or you will brake its plug.

    • @OldManTinkers
      @OldManTinkers 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So apparently for fear of braking it we did not get it tight enough, or the sensor we installed was faulty. so we wound up pulling the intake and installing a new one after 2 weeks. it was not a hard job and we replaced the plenum and lower intake gaskets as well.

    I already took half of the engine apart twice to replace 8 rocker arms that were making a ticking noice. I took it apart once to replace four of them and then a few months later I took it apart again to replace the other four so I’m not looking forward to taking it apart again to replace the oil pressure censor. I am kicking myself in the head because I should’ve replaced the censor too since it was right there. I’m go to try replacing it the way you did it.

It got too dark last night im going to take a crack at it this morning. May have to remove the radiator hose

      I've got a 2014 300, getting the same code, but it came on right after getting an oil change. I've talked to someone that knows a lot more about cars than me, and he said to change the oil and oil filter first to see if the code and check engine light will go off, he's wondering if maybe the place that did my oil change didn't put in the best oil or oil filter. So I'm wondering if it worked for you by just changing your oil?
