Good video. Just changed it today. That connector on the sensor was by far the hardest to get off. Pain in the ass!!! Thank you though. Video was a great help.
Wow, that connector seems over engineered. I think you did a great job explaining the process. One of these days they will make an affordable camera the size of an eraser that will get into those tight spaces.
Quick Question Is It 3 Pins Inside The Clamp ? I Literally Went To Dodge For An Oem Pressure Sensor & The Shop Is Telling Me That Is The Wrong Sensor But I Have A Feeling That The Shop Just Checked The Wrong Sensor In Another Spot
I wouldnt recommend driving with it on. With out knowing the properoil pressure you can cause other issues. And if it reads nothing it may not start or go into limp mode
@@aldochavez3610 sometimes you have to push the whole connector futher onto the sensor in order to pop the tab loose. Sometimes they sit in a bind where they are making it difficult to pop. Sometimes wiggling it works too. Just be patient dont want to break the connector

Yea. Newer stuff is over complicated. Like engineers are trying to show off. Yea Affordable is the key 😆

the one i changed in this video is a 926-188 if you put that number into summit or somewhere it does show its a 3pin
How much did the sensor cost you?
It is $30 from summit racing right now
I just want to say Great job, st8 to the point. I will be subscribing to your channel
Thank you much! i see what you did there
Thanks for the help!!
Your welcome, thanks for watching
Would have been easier to go from the bottom of engine? Just wondering? Thanks
Tried that first. Because thats what i heard first. It was not easier for me
I had to have this replaced on my 2014. It was under warranty so I didn't have to deal with it.
there is that benefit for having warranty. i also changed the water pump. Im just going to say dodge made some things over complicated lol
Do you need to remove the oil?
no you dont not need to.
How long can u drive with it on my check engine light just came on

Awesome video as usual 👊🏼🔥
Thanks Bud!
So when you remove the sensor, no oil spilled out??
surprisingly not much, but my driveway is slopped ss that may have helped
Is this sensor important
yes
@@EfurdGarage but in what way if u could explain or is it all it does is keep track of the oil pressure and displays it on your dash
@@KOLYNandKYLYNN Indeed
Yep going to have to do mine it's reading 99PSI lol and causing me to get a engine light and code... Wow Hope those are not your dogs lol
nope not mine, newer neighbors
😊

Having trouble pulling connector off help
A small pick or screwdriver helps. Sometimes you have to push in to get it to come loose
What do you mean push in I'm frustrated I'm hooking it like u on video but nothing it won't come off 😤 so I need to push on it
