The way he explained how the tracks and programs work made it finally click for me. Been noodling with my brand spanking new MPC One + today and I've just been completely confused by that whole screen. It's so different from what I'm used to, but now it makes perfect sense. I really love it so far. I need to hit the pads way harder than I expected though. I've set everything to its most sensitive and I still feel like I'm hammering those things.
Hi just bought MCP one plus, having difficulty installing JURA..do these plug ins install with wifi or other way with supplied usb lead? My attempt has so far installed Jura in my MAC minis hard drive !! I tried Akai but the bot was sleeping. Can someone point me in the right direction?? Thanks
Yes it can. If you've sequenced everything on one track, you can explode all pads to individual tracks but ideally you should sequence everything on its own track and stems can be exported. I believe menu>save as>mix down and there should be a check box for stems/individual tracks.
Good video. But the "melody samples" are dreadful on the MPCs in my opinion. Tuneless rubbish often used in hip hop etc. Lazy way of making music. Don't put any melody samples in. Go with lots of drum sounds, bass and synth sounds.

I used to think mpcs were difficult to work with, but demos like this she they actually look pretty user friendly.

I have lots of General Midi files saved as “.mid”. Can I load and edit these on this device? Thanks
You can load midi files but not into a specific track. A new sequence is created with those midi files.

You can get skins for it. Not the best option but it's something. I'm surprised they haven't released a retro version yet
