    Oh man, thanks so much for this video. I’ve been copy sequences to create variations and then arranging them in Song Mode for the longest. It never occurred to me to just lengthen a sequence and create the variations in Grid Mode. As soon as you did that, I said aloud to myself, “Jay, you’re an idiot!” 😅 Nah, but for real, this video was very informative and helpful, just like all your videos. I’ll def also look into the course. Cheers, Malo! ✊🏾

    So helpful- best MPC videos online hands down. Question: when exporting programs like you show at the end here, there’s no way to separate pads in the program is there? To separate Kick, Snare, etc.? I guess I could just record directly out and into a daw with each track soloed - but obviously not ideal. Or I just make sure I like my drum mix in the MPC before exporting.

    • @malobeats
      @malobeats  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey brother, thank you so much for taking the time to watch the video and also tapping in right here. There’s actual multiple ways you can tackle this down but the easiest way if you want to separate each pad into its own separate track would be by pressing the “explode” button where you will see your program options page. Once you press that button, it will separate each pad to its own track for a easier way to individually separate these. Another way if you have the MPC Live or X is by using the outputs located on the back of the machine and assigning each pad to the individual physical outputs. Sorry for the long message, but I hope this is helpful.

    Good info. 🤙 I always wondered if people approached beat building the way I do.
    Like you said 1 sequence with all your variations. Then I usually create the 2nd sequence I call mutes
    Then I go into track mute and usually do 32 bars and start recording the beat live and then lay it out the way it sounds good to me.
    Theres also control Z if your using the software to delete if you mess up while your recording but we all know we never do that its perfect from the beginning.
    Im guessing they changed the export wording from exoplode to separate programs.

    You may have just stopped me from getting the 404 and just invest the extra 200+ into the Mpc man lol.

      Dude, I love my 404, but it collects dust unless I’m gonna use it for special sound effects but for the most part, I highly highly recommend just go with an MPC and later on down the line get a 404 as an addition

    What about your plugins on standalone? Do I really need a computer to activate my free plugins on MPC One + ? Why do I always need an account to use a device??!

    Did anyone else notice that red dot when on the One+ grid screen? I was like “What note is that, Malo?” Then realizing that it’s the camera.🤦🏾‍♂️

    Lots of nice things and most is not needed for me. I play 99% piano and just want to start drums intro/some variations/some fills/ending. I should not invent the wheel again and drown in making existing rhythms. I feel this is a very complicated machine, which makes it not intuitive. Thanks for showing this is not what I need.

    how about MPC vst working in Ableton , trigering diferent instruments "drums, bass, syth "from the mpc ... i found is a mess, drums play dubble , can record midi on more then one instrument in a project , by the way it does the same on the MPC own software 😤, , imagine wanting to press play and you hear a bass sound but it get better it play on any buton you pess on the MPC it driving me icrz
