    The footwork for the spinning back elbow can be seen as a triangle, the point at your front foot.
    Visualising it so, will send your strike directly down the centreline, every time.

    Glancing shots with the tip of the elbow for cuts, driving it in an inch or two further down for KOs. The theme is taught throughout....

    Why don't they just have them speak Thai, have somebody translate afterwards, then just put the translations up that would be SO much more better. Much more clear instructions

    lead into elbow attacks !!!
    lets talk about fighting for COLLAR TIES .
    ***hand fighting and collar ties is mostly the MUAY THAI method vs regular pummeling for hooks- over/under.
    can we collar fight -pummel into elbows ??
    collar pummeling hand fighting into elbows - any body practice that method

    I think he purposely left out subtitles. If you want to figure it out seek out the information. Not everybody has to know exactly what he's saying. Just like when they listened to him in person

      Ight but like if I'm fighting someone n I elbow them in the jaw, would the bone not be harder than the dry wall? I feel like it's still hurt a lot

    • @dansavdan5402
      @dansavdan5402 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No because that bone is built upon muscular support, so the muscles holding the jaw will give way, the neck will give way, the legs will give way, as a result of the strike

    • @Fasistoktonos_
      @Fasistoktonos_ 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Donovan Harris 1) Why would anyone practice any strike on a wall??? You can even get injured practicing on a bag, let alone a wall. 2) It's well established that concrete is harder than bones. Otherwise we would be building with bone powder or some shit.

  • @juliantreidiii
    @juliantreidiii 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Muay Thai has one of the best elbow strikes but that is NOT it! That is a Kung Fu elbow strike. Still good if done right. At 3:00 min. you see a Muay Thai elbow strike but it is subtle. This is better than what I have come to expect from the internet and TH-cam, make of that what you will.
