  • Petchpanomrung Kiatmookao is thought by many to be the pound for pound hardest kicker today. His roundhouse is absolutely crushing, and I was lucky enough to visit him at his gym and ask him the secrets behind it. As well as one of the coolest knockouts ever captured on film.

      @FEAFi it's the one where u kick. A lot. And other moves like punches and teeps are used to set up the kick. Southpaws use this strategy cuz our left kick is our rear/power kick and naturally goes to high value targets like liver, arm, face and inside leg of fighters in an open stance. Gotta be in shape to use it well imo

    Petch style is very sophisticated, it takes years of training to get this power. I always teach beginners the dutch style first, because its from my experience easier, and flows much better with boxing.
    Rising inside lowkicks are great way to land low blows, be precise fellows.
    My biggest question at the moment is, how does weight and bodytype affect the effectivness of a kick.
    Dutch are real big people...no realy...

    • @drinfernodds
      @drinfernodds 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      More weight generally means greater force. Longer legs make kicking a bit easier, especially teeps. Otherwise the principles of kicking are always the same.

    • @gentlemandemon
      @gentlemandemon 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think it depends on the dexterity of a person's hips. If they can still turnover their hip without stepping out, I think the power will be comparable to the alternative.
