Makes sense since most developers focus on iPhone first.
Thats just the fact, since Apple only make few phones per year, it's easier for developers to work with, its just few hardware. optimization and refinement is much more easy. Unlike having to work with thousands of different types of hardware/specifications on different Android OEMs
I'm a hard core Android user though. Sometimes, I get jealous of the refinement and optimization of social apps on iPhones lol, but the advantages of me using Android outweighs the disadvantages so I'm good with Android.
I also love the iPhone but i prefer Android Lol.
You should do a comparison on how social media behaves in both phones, specially filming and posting stuff directly from the camera since it's known that iPhone works better BUT Samsung every year claims they're working in improving that, it'd be interesting to see what they've "improved"

🎇. I started my smartphone journey back in 2010 with an iPhone 4, wasn't keen on Apple's, restrictions, and work arounds, doing simple action like ringtone creation. Great video! I am neck deep into apple's ecosystem (watch, phone, earbuds, Mac) that even thinking about changing phones would be a hassle. But I already owned a galaxy note 9, and it was an awesome experience, so it's never too late to think about it

I have the 14 pro max… it just bores me. I feel outside of the actual apps I use, this phone has nothing else going on. I thought the extra customization on the Lock Screen would of helped but no.

I’ve had many iPhones and many Samsungs. I had the s21 ultra and currently have the 14 pro max. My contract ran out a couple days ago and despite having less to pay and only owning the 14pm a year, I’m so tempted to get another contract out and get the s23 ultra

Although I have been into android since day one and never had or used an iPhone and bought the S23U 20 days ago and loving it, but I must admit that I have great respect for the quality of the 14 pro max as well and love it's photo quality better or sometimes evenly. I still have my oneplus 6 as my spare one and should've gotten the 14 pro max instead of the S23U, jus to get the real taste of both worlds... Wat do you think 😂😅
Na s23 ultra is slightly better overall
From Asus,Huawei when there was playstore, xiaomi and samsung user and now got iphone 14 pro max it feels tingly, i just can’t explain the happiness i felt. Maybe same with others here also that tried to change, if you’re from iOS ecosystem and tried android you’d feel the same as me as the experience was really different . Im happy that there are less comments here fighting for the supremacy of phones. Thanks for the video

Wsup D💪🏾 man can’t wait to go on break and check out this vid see your thoughts. Man I love Android, but iOS is my primary device. I don’t know what it is, Android is way more polished than it used to be and way less glitchy; but I just can’t use Android as my stand alone full time device. Social media apps, iMessage, FaceTime, just the overall feel of iOS is unmatched. I bought the S23 Ultra and quickly returned it and went back to the pixel 7 pro. Mainly due to the cameras. Samsung phones are great at taking pics of environments and scenery; but I don’t like how they handle skin tones. Now my main sim is in the 14 Pro Max, secondary sim is in the Pixel Fold.

But I definitely hear you! SM in general is smoother over on IOS, 100%. I still love my P7Pro, I just hope that Tensor G3 packs some more power and battery efficiency! True Tone on the Pixel 7 Pro is also a huge bonus, especially for us melanated brethren 😆
Ig its ur preference but in general i think samsung overall the best out of the 3 bc there is no category it fails or sucks at (iphone zoom), pixel (high resolution) just to name a few , and the thing i like is that samsung’s cellular data (5g) is the best out of the three it has the best reception i seen in any smartphone

I just got the s23 ultra and it is my first note device and all I can say is it's amazing. I'm not really a iphone person but I can appreciate both sides I just think the smaller punch hole is just more my style
🌌 For me, Im comfortable with both platforms, but I have to say i really enjoy my s23 ultra. Coming from team Apple, ive had the iphone 3g all the way to the 12 pro max. Now inbetween, ive had a couple of android phones but wasnt a fan. When Samsung released their Galaxy ultra line up it really caught my eye, but was afraid of change due to ecosystems. But i did when the 22 ultra came out. Been a fan since. Its the customization, free range of options you can do with the phone that just feels restricted on IPhone. But both are the best in the Game.
i want to ask you and comfirm from you one thing if i talk in the old days when we buy samsung premium devices thet got hanging after some times or more then one year so samsung is still therelike after year of 6 months is their s23 ultra hanging issues or its old days talk now it works like apple devices?

Been using my S23U since preorders started (got it in mid Feb), and it still runs like the day I unboxed it 😅 Performance has been crazy good (if you look at benchmarks it actually has a slightly better GPU than the i14PM).
Android phones have definitely come a long way. Though I will admit, Samsung's animations are a bit outdated (what i mean is they're "quick" but it's still the same style as 6 yrs ago.. in this regard, the Xiaomi flagships are better... The UI just feels smoother and iPhone-like.. A big software update is coming to Samsung phones in a couple of months so we're hoping Samsung updates the animations to look more modern...but as far as a phone is concerned, the S23 Ultra is currently the best one in the market, that's if you're not dabbling in the foldable scene).

If you want flexibility of Android, the S23U is the best pick rn.
The usual things pointed out still remain true.
S23U takes excellent portrait shots, awesome zoom, and struggles less in lowlight.
iPhone takes better video.
S23U's display is consistently brighter and more vibrant. iPhone's speakers are a tiny bit fuller. S23U has slightly better signal reception. S23U stays cooler for longer during gaming sessions. iOS feels smoother. iPhone apps especially social media ones are more optimized. S23U allows for such deep multitasking. iPhone has 1-2 yrs more software support.
TLDR; you won't be disappointed by either.
If you want to make an extra fun jump back to Android, going with the Fold5/Flip5 is also an option but I guess it's not as safe of an option (foldables have come a long way but they're still far from perfect)
I have both of these phones and they’re great. You’ll be fine with either. Just choose a platform Android or iOS that works for your needs, you won’t regret either phones. I have both because I want both Android and iOS.
That’s what I’m saying, there’s no need for silly rivalry specially if you love tech, both are great phones.

Hi from Russia, I think that IPhone offers better video quality, although photos are comparable.
I started with LG Oled android at 2012, and then switched to IPhone 5s at 2014. Used it 5 years, then gave it my daughter (last year she drowned it in the ocean at tropical Seychelles 🇸🇨 ), after 5s I bought iPhone 8 for 3 years ( lost it at huge Cairo 🇪🇬 , and found after 2 hours using iOS app locator), and now I m with 14pro, and with Apple ecosystem it’s best phone for me.

I am a Samsung user, specifically using the S series. I choose Samsung phones because I believe they offer good value for my money. However, I've noticed occasional lags and stutters on my S21, which is equipped with the Exynos chip. I'm curious to know if iPhone 14 or any recent models experience similar long-term performance issues.

I have always had Samsung flagships myself (barring a brief experiment with an LG G3 which ended with a dead motherboard, and the blue screen of death). Had an S3 and an S7 Edge, then a Note 9 followed by an S21 Ultra. All were Exynos versions, and I loved them all. The only criticism was for the video quality on the S21 Ultra. It was so full of intrusive noise and it had soft and occasionally mushy detail, and even complete detail dropout. It really let this fine device down. I now have an S23 Ultra and everything about this device is superb. Especially it's video quality. It it great to be able to record usable video indoors again!..😂. I have a lot of respect for the efficiency and quality feel of IPhones, and have enjoyed using a few. They ALWAYS impressed me in terms of video quality to be sure. I have no criticism of them to be honest. Too many people who have criticisms of IPhones have never actually used one I feel.
Great video. Just went back to the 14 pro max from the S23 Ultra and while I loved the Samsung the customer service experience I had with Samsung was not the best and were not willing help me with the issue I was having with it not charging properly. Both phones are great in their own respects.
That's why I go with T-Mobile with the 360 protection program if I have any issues I just get a new phone within 24 hours $100 deductible 24 hours brand new phone inbox so yeah but I haven't had any issues what was the battery problem you're talking about the charging

Both smartphone is the top tier flagship i don't think you should do comparison for both. Iphone is one ready-to-go for anyone looking for easy and results oriented but for one looking for workflow the s23 ultra is the one 👍. iPhone is like a Bugatti ready to perform and samsung is like GTR R35 there's room for personal customisation and upgrades suits to your likings
I am using both 23Ultra and 14Pro Max. I can tell you, to me, iPhone is just a phone to show off everyone around me. When it comes to work and photography, 23 Ultra is my primary phone. I use my 14pro max once in a while and sometimes it runs out off battery without my notification. 😅
There are many reasons I can describe why I can't live a day without Samsung.

I use both iPhone and Android.
iPhone is kinda stable but boring. No hype. The display, camera zoom ability, and S pen makes a more exciting experience imo.
But of course, Airdrop, iMovie, Facetime, and the slick videography on iPhones are always great, so I always keep one iPhone even though I have many Android phones.
My daily daily drivers are iPhone 12 mini and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
I like both and use them for different reasons.

Hey there! Just a cheap one I found in Amazon, haha. I couldn't even tell you the name, but the S23U is built very well
My mother has a cheap Amazon case on her lavender S23 Ultra, I have an Otterbox symmetry series on my phantom black S23 Ultra. Both have been dropped multiple times since we got then in May and neither phone had any scratches or dings from the drop. The cases barely have any marks from the drops!

I have always used an android smartphone but this year I switched to the iPhone 14 pro max and now have intentions on going back to android. What made it worth switching for me was the software stability, the efficiency of the ecosystem and the general greater optimization of apps, but no hate on any platforms regardless just my opinion ❤

Yup, I just switched to Iphone from Samsung, After using the Iphone this last year, Ive come to really dislike it. Not only is it somehow the buggiest phone ive used, which makes no sense cause people rave about IOS being flawless. But it just lacks anything I find, doesnt do anything bad per say, but doesnt do anything well either. Im gonna use it for another year before switching but ill be going back to Android.

I will never buy sn iPhone. I purchased a new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 512Gb smartphone in July of this year. I love everything about the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 512Gb smartphone. I love the S Pen. You can do so much with the S Pen! A great video! 😊
Dude, don’t be such a tool, you think like a child. I always switch between different android phones and to Apple, back and forth, if you truly love tech you wouldn’t mind trying the different options out there. I think they all have cool things to offer.
For the price you pay the iPhone is just worse in almost all aspects. If you're deep inside their ecosystem it has some advantages, but overall, I'd always take the Android counter part. You just have more of a choice there and aren't limited to what Apple thinks is good enough. Also the S23U in my experience is just way more comfortable to hold compared to the iPhone

Price you pay? If you compare prices between the 14 pro max and the s23 ultra they are very comparable. Depending on the model in many cases the s23 ultra is more expensive. I have both devices. I like the display on the the s23 ultra for video content and the camera. The iPhone I use for work because it just works with everything I need and I enjoy the apple watch ultra. Both are comparable devices. This is the first time where android and iPhone go neck and neck in regards to performance and battery life.

I got the 14 pro max as I have with every phone on launch day. Don't get me wrong, if you're an apple person at all then you love this phone. Battery life is amazing, as are the photos and how seamless it is with it's eco system and car play but...the e sim only killed this phone for me. I love to switch it up without having to reach out to my carrier every single time. I ultimately sold it and have a 13 pro max on stand by which works just fine. My favorite phone, maybe ever is the S23 Ultra. It's just a fantastic phone in every way, the battery is 1,000 times better than it was on the S22 Ultra. Recently got a pixel fold, liking it but still adjusting and still grab my S23 Ultra most of the time. I know I have to prepare for physical sim cards to go away, but not yet 😅

Great content. As for hiccups, I've never had one on my s23 ultra. Not yet. As for volume, for the s23 ultra try volume boost app. It will make the speakers sound like there on steroids. I don't know if the 14pro max can down load it.

I’ve been an iPhone user since 2016. I currently have the iPhone 14 Pro Max that I got last December. I DO like the look of the S23 Ultra, and I wanted a change, so I bought an S23 Ultra, used it for like a day and 1/2. I got it Saturday afternoon and Sunday night I reactivated my iPhone. I liked the display and some of the features of the s23 Ultra. But I started missing my iMessage, FaceTime, and Apple Pay. I appreciate this review.
💥🌌 Even knowing that both phones are awesome we tend to say our is best. One feature that should be improved it's the frontal camera o iPhone, It takes up a good portion of the screen compared to Samsung.
I have both so I'm enjoying the best of both worlds

@David.AVelez I would use it more during the week if my contact lists wasn't so iPhone heavy. So on the weekends, my iPhone gets a break and I enjoy the customization of the S23 Ultra.

Both are really beautiful and elegant and do the job perfectly, regardless of the choice of use... they have become really mature.
I love Apple 🍎 a lot , but i prefer Android/Samsung. I've been a long-term Android user, reasons owned to the customization, freedom, and flexibility it provides.
And I believe those who own the iPhone also get good satisfaction, I mean, these are great devices.

Its funny the only reason you notice the hiccups on the iphone now is because the samsung is so good. Its now more noticeable on iphone
I’ve always had iPhones what bothers me is my old 7plus to this day takes better pics than my 14 pro max. I don’t know if this is a defect or I have one of the ten thousand settings set wrong but as far as just picking up the phone randomly and taking a quick picture the 7plus is always better.

Im team android, had the s3, note 3, note 4, s8+, note 9, Huawei P20pro, Huawei M20P, mate 20X, note 10+, s21U, s22U and now the s23U. S23U is the best phone ive ever had! BUT iphone is calling my name! I dont no if im getting old but i want a smaller Pro phone, so looking at trading this in for the 14 Pro!!

You know I've come so close to buying an Apple product for the first time and I want to try it and give it a shot but I'm just nervous I've only used Android my whole life The only time I've played with an Apple product was in a T-Mobile store and it seems pretty nice seems decent but I ended up ultimately going with the s23 ultra from the s22 ultra and the s23 ultra is the best phone out right now nothing's even coming close to it and I can't wait to see what they do next year but who knows maybe the iPhone 15 pro Max may have me switch but I doubt it we'll see though😅
I switch between android and apple every year and it would be easy for you to adapt to Apple, it’s usually a bit more difficult to adapt when you’re coming from Apple to android because android’s software has way more to offer in terms of customization.

Are you more in the Apple Ecosystem?
I like samsung, but since owning the s22 ultra, I have been having weird things happening to my phone. Had a couple of places look at it and tell me different things wrong with the phone. Every time they tell me to buy a different charger or do a complete reset of the phone, something else happens. They finally said I can send my phone in but I would be without a phone for three weeks. I am learning apple has way better customer service but I don't know how to use an apple. What are your thoughts on this? Should I make the leap to 🍎?
Definitely try iphone it's far more stable than s22

Maybe its just your opinion but my GF has the 14 pro max n i have the S23 Ultra and her speakers are loud for music but i feel my speakers are clearer and have more bass. She even feels the same way but everyone's hearing is different though.

The telephoto and zoom apple cannot beat
I'm all Apple, however I always felt the 14pro let it's users down with over exposure & flares in night mode, I always felt it didn't take the full advantage of it's hardware and isn't as good as the hype.
Ultra is just slightly the better phone.
Having said that, both are top phones
The overexposure are a good one. And in pictures, like that Ultrawide comp in this video, you can see how the 23 is better with DR. In video also, even though the IPhone looks better overall.
But agreed! I give the slight edge to the 23U, but both are awesome pick ips regardless

Having used the s23ultra it has the same issue even if not as pronounced as the iPhone it still has it. Also the over saturated pictures and video on Samsung are just gross imo.

@@Beanjuice I think you were behind for about 2 or 3 years, samsung has corrected that problem since the s21 ultra version snapdragon. Samsung's video recording is still not as good as that of the iPhone, but saying "oversaturated colors" is a misconception that all people who have not been a Samsung user and have not been able to see how it improves affirm. Check this same video, apple is more saturated than samsung. I repeat Iphone is still better than Samsung in video, but that does not mean that it continues to exploit colors unrealistically as it did a few years ago.
Don’t get me wrong I love apple I have the whole ecosystem but android just gives me a better experience and I know people are going to say a lot of apps run better on iOS but that’s not true apple gives me the same amount of bugs and hiccups as android trust me I’ve gone back and forward between both android’s freedom and customizability just makes it better
I have iPhone 13 Pro Max and after year and half of use I still have 98% battery health and never experienced any glitches you mention on iPhone 14, I still want switch to galaxy S23 Ultra only because I know it takes better pictures. Anyways I’m still undecided due to I’m really happy with my phone and I’m afraid that I won’t like overall experience on android especially with its Android auto side when paired with my car.
If anyone can tell me their own experience of switching from iOS to android and what was is plus/minuses.
Don’t let go of your 13 pro max. My wife has 13 pro and I’m not trading her phone in for 15 pro
