- First leg of our European road trip in our VW T5 California campervan is a free camping spot high up in the Dolomites mountain range, Northern Italy.
We used the Eurotunnel and drove for 2 days to reach the Italian Alps and slept 1800m above sea level to see one of the best views we've ever woken up to, looked over by the majestic Sassongher mountain.
We based ourselves at Corvara in Badia for 2 nights, What 3 Words location is ///implodes.clasps.sleeping
This is the first instalment from our 3 week road trip so there'll be plenty more to follow.

Sparkling water is the best….but never mind that Derren is proper salivating over the Flips! They are his favourite….oh and Lays crisps are the best!!!! Yum yum. What an absolutely stunning place to park up 😍❤️😍

Jeez those views. I wish I hadn't seen them TBH, I'm fecking sick of building this van!! 😆We've just got back from Glastonbury but that has kicked our weekend into touch! I have to say, I've had those peanut flavoured crisps but, there really is a limit to how many you can eat. Hope it goes well guys. Keep them coming because we'll be taking notes for a future trip. You got a shout out in our last vlog BTW. Safe travels both.

Really sweet valley to wild park-up . Really long stressful drive to get there I would have took it slower to be honest but you might be pushed for time.You should drive through Bavaria it's really nice doing all the small towns an villages no one has heard of that's were you get the real atmosphere and hidden gems
The drive was a task and we do normally take it slower but we hatched a bit of a plan and this enabled us to really take advantage.
Bavarian tour is actually what we’re researching now as we’ll be leaving Munich on Tuesday.

Absolutely love this. Are you able to park anywhere in the dolomites and wild camp? Looked a fairly decent spot that to pull up and overnight stay.
Not sure about anywhere Harry but, this was a dedicated overnight park up so they’re clearly welcoming vanners in certain locations and this one was a real treat 👌🏼
