Our European Road trip in a camper van was a success!
We drove through nine countries, from the UK to Croatia and back.
In total we drove approximately 3500 miles!
We would like to share with you our experience, the campsites, park ups and the cost in hope that should you wish to make the same trip, this will help you.
We will share our adventure with you in a couple of videos along the way.
In this video it is showing beautiful Switzerland and the difficult roads we encountered driving through the Alps. We were amazed with this beautiful country!

Hi, I was particularly interested in your travels through Switzerland. Many years ago I was there through work and spent much of my free time travelling round this most beautiful country, so I know exactly how magnificent these locations are. Back then much of my travelling was done by train, but this time it will be in our camper van. Soon my partner will be retiring so have promised her a trip through Switzerland and beyond. What an amazing trip. Thanks for sharing. We are planning something very similar. We are flying from New Zealand. We plan to visit family in England and Scotland then hire a van in Europe and visit similar counties - how long did the total trip take you?

Hi! Thank you! Fantastic idea! It took us two weeks to get to Croatia from England via France, Switzerland, Italy and Slovenia. It was amazing. If you have more time then obviously it’s worth spending more time in each country. Our goal was to get to Croatia and drive along the entire coastline, which we did, so we could only spend few days in each country but it’s still worth it! Great travels! ❤️
