- Following on from Update 12, both filmed on 15th May 2024 we visit the North site to see what new machines are around. A new JCB undertaking a risky looking task and a borehole machine presumebly drilling boreholes 👌

Yes it has to be samples. It is exciting but I'm getting tired of the same thing, I know it's the process but I'm so looking forward to them giving the thumbs up and the real construction starting.
obviously this is all a big publicity stunt to reveal their new Jurassic World theme park buried underground this entire time

Probably not a T-Rex as they were in north America, but it could be a Spinosuarus, as 1 was found in the Isle of White.@ProjectUniversalUK
That dude in white with a digger looked like an asbestos tester. Possibly testing to see if the demolished buildings left some.

I used to be a CPT operator so I was hoping wed see CPT machines onsite not core drilling rigs. Ill keep watching incase u come across them as there will be many more test locations to do
I think we might see a lot of attractions indoors so they can have all year round operations!

Thats a Dando tripod rig its for testing the soil strata down to depth for future works.
Its not a drilling rig cant see any hydraulics but it couldnt be boring a hole using the drop and repeat method
Core samples for ground stability
The jcb is possibly doung test trentches. The other bore machine is taking ground samples for the contractor.
I think the jcb was digging down in those piles of old waste to take samples for any possible contamination? Maybe they need to provide paperwork to say it's safe to move for either backfilling something on site or moving to a landfill or other use elsewhere.
@@ProjectUniversalUK Because they're right above where the Stewartby Brickworks was (Closed in 2008), I'd say you're right, just checking for any contamination below, it looks like a pile of clay left over from the production of bricks
@@ProjectUniversalUK They're also checking what's under those rubble piles from demolition of the old chimneys or buildings
That's just a simple soil sampler. An older way to do ground investigations for structural foundations.

The overall construction keeps looking great and I just got to say this Universal Great Britain having Canopy’s Similar To The Universal Parks In Japan,Singapore and Beijing or it could be indoors when Universal proposed a Park in Dubai in 2008 and they wanted to have it indoors.
Alas we're probably in that latent period between the initial surveying and getting the thumbs up from Universal. Assuming that happens in June I reckon they'll start in on clearing and levelling the land almost straight away even before the designs for the park start coming in.
I like to think they have a list of jobs from the day the thumbs up are given.

It's a drilling rig to see what layers of material are under the ground to see what there building on the JCB is digging trial holes to confirm what the drilling rigs test results are showing an looking for old foundations as the hole site will need remediating
I should think it's only a meter or so of dirt then it's clay but you never know what has been buried by humans over the years.
@@ProjectUniversalUK they will just be making sure there no mine workings / running sand under there and how far bed rock is away. So they can work out how much will need to be remediated back to natural ground

I wonder why they would be looking in what appears to be a man made mound of dirt. Not saying it's suspicious, just curious.
I think they are taking samples from what looks to be a pile of waste. They must need paperwork to move it, use it or dispose of it.

Indeed, it wasn't just a dust mask, it looked like a proper rubber mask.
