      As things currently stand it will be tough for Moody to get 25 mins, The Warriors definitely need to make a trade to free up the log jam at guard

      Agreed. Moses has been the ultimate professional and I want next season to be his consistent year, but he needs his minutes! And the Lindy Waters dude also can shoot! Unless they play Moses at the 3.

    Where it stand on paper rn. This new team is already better. You cut out 2 old of their prime and defensive liability with younger veteran role players. That said, I still say we'll be a play in team with the ceiling of this team currently. The main issue is there isn't a main 2nd option, and while a lot of the players can contribute pts, we still need that second go 2 player to keep the offense going.
    The West is scaryyy. Almost every team have something going for them to compete. Which is crazy to say. I think the standings would be. Wolves, okc, mavs, nuggets, peli, sac, Lakers, sun's, grizz, warriors, clips, rocket's, spurs, utah, blazers (For my way too early predictions).

    • @Hollie.415
      @Hollie.415  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yeah the West is nuts, the Warriors are probably better than last season as of now, but that still doesn’t make them a true contender. They need to get a 2nd star to pair with Steph, otherwise this team doesn’t have the juice to get it done.

    100% agree with your analysis. Great job in pointing out Golden State's newfound flexibility at the guard position. There were so many instances when CP3 was getting his stats while placing a burden on others to defend. I am hoping Kerr can now make his rotations without needing to satisfy the egos of veteran players.

    • @Hollie.415
      @Hollie.415  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I think that was one of the reasons they let Klay go, so that they didn’t have to satisfy his ego while making necessary coaching decisions.
      With the type of personality Klay has, and the resume he’s built here in Golden State, it’s hard envisioning him being ok with the young guys taking more and more of his minutes.

  • @TheRoadLessChosen

    Bruh. Thank you. See, that’s what I’m saying. These heroes keep dkridin hield and claim he’s an improvement. Check the fkn stats. I can give them to you. Some of these TH-camrs have sold out. They don’t know the game. Seriously. DO NOT KNOW ITs
    Proof is they don’t know who da fk Lindy Waters III is. Watch. He’s going to be a fan favorite. He’s one hell of a shooter and he might take some of Buddy’s minutes. You’re on point with all players. Nice to see. I thought about starting a channel because these lames drive me crazy but I’m old. But I know the game. Good for you, great analysis.
    Let’s not leave out Kerr though. He’s foot’s do his shit. He even admitted in his exit interview he needed to run and call plays this coming year. Kerr looked lost. I’ve personally always thought he was just a decent coach. Teach young men the motion offense and get them to buy in and you can win championships. That’s a fact.

    Agree 100%. This has been an excellent off-season for the Warriors.
    My hope is that they will refrain from gutting their depth to acquire Lauri from Utah. Sure, he's great - when available. He's not consistently available. I hope the front office will stand pat, keep their new-found depth and youth, and settle in to develop their youth and chemistry.

    • @Hollie.415
      @Hollie.415  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Staying pad to develop the youth means you’re essentially punting on Steph’s last few year of his prime. He’s 36 years old, it’s an anomaly that he’s still as good as he is at his age.
      The Warriors owe it to Steph to get him some help. He’s the greatest player in franchise history, top 5 player all time. Once he retires we will never have another Steph. Get the man some reinforcements so he can spend his last few seasons of his prime competing for a title.

    • @Urgelt
      @Urgelt 23 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@Hollie.415 they did get him some help. I'm very impressed with how well they've done.
      The question unspoken is, if they gut their roster and future to acquire one guy who has availability problems, will they do better?
      I doubt it.
      Develop youth. Build chemistry.
      The best help is *affordable* help. The cap policy is a monster that requires careful management at every position.

    • @Hollie.415
      @Hollie.415  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It’s not enough help to win a championship my friend. Who’s the 2nd best shot creator on the team after Steph?
      Kuminga? Wiggins? Do you trust them to be a reliable 2nd option in the playoffs against elite teams?
      Would you have faith that when 36yr old Steph curry is having an off night, or when the other team is completely selling out to stop him that JK would be ready to win you a playoff game against an elite playoff team that’s locked in on his scouting report?
      Cmon man. I’m excited for these young guys too, but if we’re being 100% honest with ourselves they aren’t ready yet.
      They might be in a few years, but Steph can’t wait a few years. He’s 36. If it takes Jk 2 more years to be Jaylen Brown, that’s 2 years wasted in the meantime. And once that time comes, Steph will be 38 and more than likely no longer a top 10 player in the league, which means you aren’t winning anything anyways.
      You see how the 2 timelines can equate to the Warriors wasting this 2 year window?
      Betting on JK and the other young guys to be enough help for Steph go through all these elite teams, is a gamble, what’s at stake is his last few chances a getting #5. That’s not a gamble I’m personally comfortable with taking.

    • @Urgelt
      @Urgelt 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Hollie.415 yeah, well. The problem is that any single player capable of pushing the Warriors to the top of the conference *with certainty* is a unicorn who is not on the trade market.
      Even getting a serviceable center like Lauri will cost a lot of cap space, our youth and future picks.
      Don't forget where our successes came from this past decade. Most of that success was home-grown. The Dubs' drafted smart, added great veterans for cheap, and got the job done.
      If a guy like KD falls into their lap without costing Joe Lacob's firstborn, then okay. But there are no pieces like that in motion this summer.
      Playing this LeBron's way will not work. What *might* work is to put young and hungry guys on the floor to take advantage of Steph's gravity.
      Melton and Heild are excellent additions. We have young and cheap options to try out at center. We have wings galore. I say it's worth charging ahead.
      Trying to trade your way to a championship, expensive seasoned veterans and giving up your future, usually fails. Ask the Clippers how that goes. Or the Nets. Or even the Suns.

    • @Hollie.415
      @Hollie.415  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      If I had to guess, I think Melton probably starts because of his defense.
      Podz can still start and be the backup Pg though. Steph usually plays the whole 1st Q, if you start Podz you can sub him out after 6 mins, then bring him back in for Steph to start the 2nd Q

      I won’t go as far as saying more valuable, but I think he’s going to thrive in our system playing off Steph, also his acceptance of a bench role by itself is valuable.
      It was a report saying Klay thought he was just as good of a player as before his injuries. So he never would’ve truly been accepting of a reduced role with GS.

    Why does everybody put Wiggs ahead of JK.. Jk was a better player across the board last year with less minutes. Let’s go larger and play JK at the 3. We gotta get bigger which means playing our bigger players. NOONE in the league wants Wiggs, so why are we starting him???

    • @Hollie.415
      @Hollie.415  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Because Wiggins is the better shooter playing next to a Draymond/TJD front court that lacks spacing,
      and he’s the better point of attack defender matching up with the opposing team’s biggest perimeter threat.
      If we play the Mavs, Wiggins is our best Luka defender, If we play the Lakers Wiggins is our best Bron defender etc etc.
      Since he’s our best option for those assignments, that means he should probably be starting games to guard those guys.
      I do believe at this point in their career Kuminga is probably the better player overall, but Wiggins is the more complimentary fit in the starting lineup.
      You have to take into consideration how the players fit as a unit, not just individual talent.
      Trust me I want Jk to start, but he needs to come into training camp a more consistent and improved 3pt shooter in order to justify putting him in the starting lineup next to a front court that already lacks spacing.

He's sealing is a good role player, add to that he has an attitude problem and believes he's worth $200 million (you don't want to be the team to pay him that cause it will be a mistake) I'd trade him now while his value is high, I'd do this (not dealing with Danny)
    Kuminga for Clint Capela & Bogdan Bogdanović & picks
