  • Had to go through the painful process of replacing the spark plugs on my 2005 Ford F-250.
    I picked up a loaner tool from Autozone, and it came without instructions. Figured I’d do a quick 6 minutes video to explain how it works!
    Good luck guys!!

    Pain in the ass job lol. Did mine today took about 5 hrs. 3 out of 8 plugs broke.
    Ford should be held liable and responsible for replacing these stupid things.
    Shouldn't have to go through all of this B.S. lol

      Couldn’t agree more. 5 out of 8 broke on mine... called ford, they charge $1600 to do the job.
      Gotta pay for a mistake they made. That should be a recall...
      Glad you’re done brother!!!

    6 of the 8 plugs are stuck inside my 3v 😩 thanks Ford. The Lisle tool failed so tomorrow I'll try this tool. I'll update on how it goes.

      @@TheManusimpson31 so I have all but one out and of course the last one the thread maker doesn't bite down onto it. Any suggestions?

      @Daniel-jk9ge on the last one I successfully removed it by using the lisle tool. The lisle tool failed me with all the others but the one that the thread maker couldn't bite just so happens the lisle was able to firm bite and helped pull out the last cap. I hate Ford

    I tried this kit 3 times. My problem was that the lock tight never stayed in the parcelin. The pin always slipped out. I had to get the lisle kit and push the parcelin through and then it came out no problem
    This kit would not work for me at all.

    • @TheManusimpson31
      @TheManusimpson31  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kit did the same to me a couple times. That's why I advise to put locktite both on the applicator AND on the pin, so that you basically have double dose!
      How frustrating when you put locktite, wait an hour and it just fucking doesn't work lol

    • @mr.boostang2064
      @mr.boostang2064 ปีที่แล้ว

      did you push it through with the Lisle tool and then make the threads with the tool in the video?
      I have the lisle kit but it won't bite onto the cap, I have used this tool on video with great success but never had the porcelain stuck until now.
