    You can do 2,1b -> FLK cancel into crouch WS 2,2 -> LNH 2 and it is all guaranteed

      New to this but what does WS mean? I know what the button annotations are ( 1,2,3 & 4) and FLK is his flick stance but WS?

      FLK cancel into ws22? thats probably a very tight link, or is it easy and consistent?

    I was actually just looking for some applications for FLK- 1, d1 and nimrod combination since they no longer corkscrew, so its nice to know that almost every button in Steve’s kit has application still

      FLK 1d1 was one of my favorite moves back in T7 and seeing it still being used inside combos makes me happy

    • @lostmnt
      @lostmnt หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah FLK 1 ALB 2 is still a ch combo and only -3 with pushback, kinda made it useless

    Thank you so much for these steve videos Guv. They are really helping me in trying to remember all my options in the heat of battle. I really appreciate the time it took to make this video in a really accessible fashion. Will be super excited to see more quick tip videos in the future. :D ❤

      Thanks my man! Yeah it got cut off because I got the music from an "unlicensed" track on TH-cam and they even states that we can use and monetize our stuff with their music but then less than 24 hrs later they come with a copyright claim

    I didn't realize postion changed the grab even its from stance, I know postion and buttons determines what grab you get but I just assumed if you did pkb grab anywhere it would be the ten count

  • @topebin3287
    @topebin3287 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I was really skeptical about using PKB DF2 after a heat engager but it really does work lmao, I don't even know why theres zero reason to duck Steve

    • @soulxcv
      @soulxcv  หลายเดือนก่อน

      His highs are incredibly oppressive, so you duck less for blocking lows but ducking and punishing his highs

  • @TheSLashera
    @TheSLashera หลายเดือนก่อน

    Maan. How do you deal with characters who have strong space control (which is a lot of them in this game) I do well on Steve-O when I can freely sidestep and do sway shanenigans, but once they catch on to that and start using homing/panic moves that catch movement it becomes so hard to play.
    Another banger video btw. Keep it up Guv!

    • @soulxcv
      @soulxcv  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      A lot of characters now seem to just skip out the neutral and it's just sad. This is why I love fighting Hwoarangs, Bryans, and Kazuyas. They still largely play old school Tekken and the deep mindgames and spacing plays a big part in the matchups.

    • @lostmnt
      @lostmnt หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can use the small minus frames you are on block and do ub3 backstep and react to wiff with LH2, if the homing is a mid its also slow so you can use b1 or df2 (if its a low profiling move) to CH interrupt them

  • @simply_kulle2625

      @@VDViktorthe move is called "Cheapshot" and it can only be done when the opponent is on a grounded state. Try setting your training dummy to not get up and try knocking it down and doing d1+2. The move will come out. It's a great move for oki

      in all honesty he's a lot of fun, I suck at pressuring with him but his combos are nasty and his low pokes aren't amazing (would feel familiar coming from steve lol) but he's just pretty damn solid all around, i'm flame ruler right now with him and having a blast.

    You just dont understand how many times i got the wall splat, the corner, the 50/50s into win rounds because of these combo enders (flk 1d1/ 12) game changer really, next video maybe advise people to pop heat mid combo to extend wall carry and the complete corner game, like using sway throw to beat power crush when you in LH, the weaving options after qcf1 that wall splat. and using 112 (after guardbreak specialy) cancel into duck (+8) so you either threaten CH them with dck 1 or extend into 1 or two faced throws mix
