first time actually labbing tekken with intent. was going to switch of off shaheen until i found out about these ws3 loops. thank you. lots of fun. the only thing i havent quite figured out is if its optimal to run before wc df2 or just to dash. i also think the recovery timing of ws 33 is messing me up. amazing guide. thanks again.
Hey, thanks for the feedback, im glad you liked the video! About the FC DF2: It depends on the distance the opponent is away from you; sometimes you have to only dash if you do smaller combos, but if you do bigger combos (like the max damage option out of DF2) you need to run up and then do the FC DF2 because the distance for the FF3 wont be right otherwise. And about the WS3 timing: it really just takes some practice to embed it into your muscle memory, im certain that you will master it after some time of more practicing, youre definitely in the right mindset for it! Cheers, thanks for your comment!
I actually found a more damaging low parry combo, it may not have the same wall carry as yours but it's still important to mention. It does 47 damage and it goes like this: (Low Parry) d2; 4,1; f2,4,4; fff3
yes this is the best combo after a bound. it does more damage than the combos after ff3 shown in this video but its not as sick so imma stick w my ws3 loops
You can use 4,3 after launch and pick up with df4,1,snkc ws3 loops, heat burst ,wall carry or ender for a couple points extra damage. 4,3 into f2,4,4 ff3 into ender works as well for a super simple route that switches sides and give you wall.
For the people who find the Underground Arena WBO! combo too hard. You can do go for [ CH b3; b2,1; FC2; ff3 T!; FC2; b2,1; b2,1F; df1; b4 ] for 85 damage (2 damage less). It's a lot more reliable and easier. You can do the big boy combo if you REAAAAALLY want that extra 2 damage. Note: If your in Rage, by doing the easier ver you can do RA for the same amount of damage difference without spending any resources. (Easier ver will do 93 with no meter spent. Harder ver will do 95 with all your resources spent.)
Okay, yes. Thank you for this but even this "easy" combo has been giving me a lot of trouble, lol. The cancel into ws3,3 is like the hardest thing to me, I can do it outside of combos and never during, BUT. If anyone else is having this problem, I have an easier and much less stylish combo that I found that also does 68 damage off of either df2 or hopkick haha. Ex: DF2 (or hopkick), 3, F2,4,4, F+2,3, dash, FC DF+2, FF3.
Just to clarify: while the actual game calls it "While Rising" the Tekken community uses the WR notation for "While Running" moves. The moves you are referring to, the community uses WS for "While Standing" moves.
Wow thanks for the video man. I just picked up Shaheen as my secondary and this is super inspiring! Also, let's play a match sometime if you're based in DE 😄
man i hope this picture notation is just for helping out beginners because i gotten so used to real notation its hard to read this then remember it as the actual notation lol
Thanks for sharing mate. But what move is f21 i cant remember that shaheen has a f21 tornado move :O oh you mean f23 my bad sorry. i will use that combo thanks.
great video thanks. i cant get the opponent to hit the second wall on the last 2 combos in the video, is there a way i have to align myself at first wall break for it to work?
I can't manage to get 0:27 combo done consistently. Somehow I frequently drop the combo at the f13, specifically on the 3, because the opponent is too far away for it to connect. I tried delaying on purpose different parts of the combo to see if I could identify the problem, but I couldn't :( EDIT: Turns out that my problem wasn't being too slow, but going too fast. By delaying the sneak cancel into 1ws a little bit I managed to get some consistency with that combo.
man those ws3 are amazing! tried to do them for 3h and my thumbs skin is peeling off. but i got a combo from ff3 that does 68: 3 snk 2 f2,4,4 ff3. and a low parry combo for 45: again 3 snk 2 f2,4,4 ff3.
Thank you so much :) Im doing it so fast by buffering the df input right after inputting the df 4,3 (yes im holding df, it doesnt matter if you hold df,db,or just u as long as an u input is registered by the game) So i basically input df4.3 and immediately hold df for like a second before inputting u+2. I think this is similar to charge moves in street fighter where you can buffer the d input out of any sort of movement/button. I will include some tips in my upcoming Stealth Step guide. :)
Yeah i should absolutely have done better notes, sorry about that. But i can assure you that these combos will work on every character, even the females and the bears. On Bears the WS3 loops even get easier and more consistent, Silly stuff like DF2 into 3 into 6x WS3 is possible vs bears
You can go into Stealth Step after a single WS3, cancel the stealth step into full crouch by holding DB, and then let go of db; press 33 to get the second WS33 for tornado.
@@Tinfoiltomcat no it's not timing is strict it never connects for me. Yeah I'll miss out on 2-3 more damage but oh well I guess, I just replace it with FF3, or DB2DF3
@@bugzurseeHe does and has reset spike tendencies too. If you get off-axis QCF4 (28~22dmg unscaled & +16 grounded) or b42df you're in for a deathtrap if you used any getup attempt.

I struggle so hard with the ws3 loop..
You're insane man! Very great vid!
Thanks! Practice makes perfect!
You figure it out yet?
Same here, I keep doing the Hunting falcon dive (snk3) or d3, those cancels are insanely hard.
Love the new notations and notes added. Feels easy to digest and doesnt block the combo at all. You did an amazung job!

I am just using these combos, pretty consistent after sidestep also.
(df2/uf4/ws2/uf3/db4 , 3DF 2) / (CH 41, db2) / (CH b4, d3DF 2) , db2DF 1, f23, dash db2DF 3
gives 63+ damage consistently
Bro the ws3 cancel are sick and look fun to do
wow, great combos, way over my league, my only critic.. combofinisher: dash df 3+4,db:df2,ff3 looks way cleaner than dash WC df2 ff3 😛
Souq's BGM from T7 and Shaheen go hard together
Yes indeed
4x ws3 🤯

the max damage off of heat engagers are 3 snk fcdf41, db2 snk ws1, f244, f21 T!, fcdf2, ff3. does 74 off of b1 compared to yours, which does 72 :)

the db2 pickup in the hard combos is so inconsistent, db2 just drops for seemingly no reason
it sucks because i can do the ws3 consistently
Tq for bring back SOUQ Music I appreciate it

LP - d2 - 4,1 - f2,4,4 - ff3
try d2 / 4,1 / df4,1 hold df hold db * / (use either one of the following depending on how much wall carry you need) WS4,4 or WS4 hold df / snk2

Thank you !

funny thing is ws3 loops are the easiest part about the hard/gigachad combos everything else is hard
I thought Shaheen is easy, but these combo strings are nuts 😔
😂😂
for 1:19 how do you do the double kick with ws3?
First hit of ws3 can be sneak step cancel and then you can crouch cancel it for another ws3
You can go into Stealth Step after a single WS3, cancel the stealth step into full crouch by holding DB, and then let go of db; press 33 to get the second WS33 for tornado.
Im playing on controller for the life of me I cant do the WS 3 :(
I cant for the life of me do the WS or the FC2,FF3. I guess I'll just omit the FC2 because that timing is way too strict even in the "easy combos".
i just got the FC2,FF3 down. Just practice doing a dash FC2 first until that's a complete concept for you. The FF3 is easy after that.
@@Tinfoiltomcat no it's not timing is strict it never connects for me. Yeah I'll miss out on 2-3 more damage but oh well I guess, I just replace it with FF3, or DB2DF3
