The best consistency always depends on what you are using to vaporize it. Depends on the rig I'm using I like different consistencies
I mostly agree with this list. I like Budder/badder, sugar, and wax in that order. IMO, since this was a tier list about dabbing, RSO should be in pewp tier. You can but........

I haven't even seen shatter being sold for a long time, I kind of forgot about it. I like "whipped"wax and budder the best
I just don't like dabbing in general because I always feel like I'm wasting half of expensive extract. I really like things I can smoke. Like a traditional Hash or even an extract infused hash brick. Like baking bread you need something to hold it together as a solid. Imagine a Hash Swirl Cake, but instead of caramel the swirls are extract?

I guess this is an unpopular opinion but crumble is S tier to me, especially really dry crumble. It makes cold starts so easy when I can take a little pinch of the stuff that's broken up and sprinkle it on the banger or break off a little chunk of one of the bigger pieces. No tool needed and it falls right to the bottom of the banger.

I would believe that you're having such good results with crumble. because you have good consciousness and control of your heat?. I think most people can't be satisfied with such a tiny amount of chumble and I think most of those dissatisfactions are because of too much heat for that small of an amount of concentrate for it to vape appropriately.

@@Terproaster Not entirely, hes ill-informed about certain things, but he did get the general points pretty well. The reason he says he enjoys combing certain ones is due to the entourage effect. Look it up. He Should have mentioned it here, I suspect he doesn't, or at least didnt know what it was at the time of filming.

The only reason I really like crumble is it’s super easy to sprinkle some into things lol I like to put a little on top of a bowl or what not taste good and adds a little extra something lol
Best parts the taste actually flavor not aome phony tasting shit like terp packed sugar shit cant stand that most of it tastes horrid
Shatter is actually S tier, you can even make it from hash rosin if you know what you are doing…also pull and snap shatter is worthy of its own category, cuz I get what you mean about brittle and tasteless shatter

Thought I knew a lot about cannabis and it’s concentrated forms but in my 10 years of smoking. I’ve learned more about it in this video then picking up the info throughout the years. This is great for people curious about trying cannabis and it’s different forms. Keep up the great content.
Just got a rosin press and the back and forth between S and A tier was brutal 🤣 I'd give it S tier because anyone can safely make it st home and it's 10x better than shatter

Distillate is so hard to rank because with the right brand I would so argue it being A or even S tier based on scenario. The perks of no smell, convenience, ease of use, flavor, taste, and many more have to add up to something right..?
My dispensary has a line of kief that is absolutely awesome. Easy handling, good at room temp, can be easily smoked alone, or on top of flower. Light green trichomes, full terpene experience. Smells great in the jar. Usually $30/ gm - on sale at $17.50

Solventless Live Resin - any type of SHO is my fav.
It comes down to strain phenotype too and the material itself.
Having grown for 16 years... we can get 3 different types of dab/resin out of one strain - just using different phenos...
I mainly use flower and Rso but when I wanna dab I use sugar or budder. Live resin is good too. Need too try rosin tho

First I only smoke live products made from fresh frozen. Bho wax is full of fats and lipids. For dabs don't include RSO or distillate their for edibles. Way too much on S should only be 6 star hash and live rosin only reason different consistently is fresh more stickier it budders fast I like budder better for handling. Diamonds and thca crystals best mived with sauces but that's just my opinion. I don't want highest thc period. I want highest % terpenes. I'm 67 been smoking 54 yrs and been involved with quality extracts last 16 yrs. Been a budtender and ran dab bars been involved in grows and making of extracts and edibles. Not many things I'm good. cannabis and food I know my shit

i love shatter. i like to get it into a ball and keep in a silicone container. grab it with my fingers so it gets a little warmed up, then pull off whatever i want to dab. it almost never sticks to my fingers and i can break off exactly what i want.
Yeah I definitely prefer diamonds with sauce.

Live rosin in S tier just pressing cured nugs that aren't whole plant fresh frozen is more B+ is easy to squeeze a nug on g/f curling iron. But 6 star and live rosin takes an extract artist in a cold environment.
Butter,sauce and bubble are my favorites also personally I don't care about THC percentages as long as it's over 70

Distillate is atleast a D+, I get 2 grams for $30 at my local dispo that tests in the 80% I just dabs a little boogie on my banger and can make those 2 Gs really stretch
You can get 1 gram of distilate for 10 bucks and it will get you to the moon 5 times or goofy like 10 times its tasteless odorless and nobody and you aint gotta eat 500 calories of brownies just 1drop in your drink

I agree rosin is way too diverse to put it in one tier. Hash rosin is for sure S tier, but I’ve had flower rosin that wasn’t great, so it definitely touches several tiers. Good video man 👍🏼

Which temperatures work best for each consistency of concentrates?
Recently got some RSO for the first time. I’ve eaten it and didn’t do anything... I smoked it and not so great. I dabbed it and it works, but tastes like pewp. Any thoughts or suggestions? Lol
your body could digest it too quickly for your liver to metabolize the thc or some shit like that im not a scientist. i'm in the same boat as you, edibles dont work
i fill up full ceramic 510 thread carts with the rso i get from my dispensary, it's a more full bodied vape high. its also got a great flower taste as opposed to distillates.
What was dosage? 1 gram is standard for cancer, pain management and to detox of options. Taking with a fat might help. I've heard a small amount of peeps like 5% can't process something with liver.

id put shatter slightly higher on my list as its extremely easy to cold start with, unlike something like sauce that I cant get off my tool. Other than that I thoroughly agree with this list
I always have trouble with TS. I'm torching at 540 to 560 am I doing something wrong when it comes to terp sauce?
Plus, I always leave like a burned spot of my banger every time I try and cold start. Any suggestions would be great
@@Mikein203 I’m not sure how to help you with a genuine torch banger, I have two e-rigs and those are all I really know how to use. I heat to 525 with my cold starts but I hit it while it heats up because I don’t have to torch. Sorry I’m not able to help more.

@BigHam My friends and I use terp pearls to as a way to get hard to work with concentrates off our tools as you can put it above the sauce and when it heats up the pearl will pull the extract off the tool with it!

I only mess with live resin carts and distillate carts with terpenes added, no dabs. Partly because I'm just an old school flower guy, partly due to the expense. I just like concentrate vapes for how discreet they are. I much prefer the live resin carts, but they never seem to last as long as the distillate carts for some reason.

I got my med card back in 2016 here in Michigan and I remember getting into dabs and used to buy crap looking shatter then got into budder and crumble more lol the prices have changed dramatically over the years. Back about a year ago I started going to recreational dispensary’s that finally opened up and recently live Rosin has gotten a lot cheaper. Probably my favorite stuff up there with live resin, budder, sauce/sugar. I’m usually going with rosin or sauce/sugar. I absolutely love how easy they are to handle. Back then I sometimes with shatter would somehow make a huge fckn mess and it would annoy the hell outta me lol stuff is sticky if it isn’t cold and is a pain in the ass if you get it anywhere.
Live rosin jam is my favourite in the peak pro so far
Crumble is king for rolling into joints because it doesnt stick to the paper or clump up and restrict airflow. Can pick it up with your fingers without needing to chill it as well. As much as i wish i could use bubble hash instead, my local shop sells a .1G for 10 bucks.

Honeycomb wax is my favorite. Its the one I have gotten the most flavor from . Even more than live resin sauce and diamonds. My best bho run ended up beimg honeycomb wax as well. The honeycomb wax ive had was the same greasy/moisture as sugarwax, but held its shape.
Fresh frozen washed full melt cold dried low temp pressed then bottle tech sealed and budderd up and whipped at a low temp is what I've been loving. Enjoying your channel man.

If the distillate is made with the whole lab setup with the terpines added to it, it's really good. I used to like it a lot but realized it isn't a good consistency for dabbing. You were spot on with this list. Butter has to be the best. You can get the perfect amount on a pick and it usually tastes the best and the high is always impacting.
Terpines added just means your dab is getting cut :/
@@Zeromaus not really. You can get certain terps that add benefits to the dabs. One little bottle of terps can last a very long time depending on how much distillate you want to use it for. People usually add the terps to individual carts if it's homegrowers making them

crumble ive been getting in Michigan you could turn the container upside down and everything would dump out, not stick at all, no residual left over (provided you arent dabbing it from the container itself).
The "increasing quality when you put them together", is something called an entourage effect. Heavily a preference thing.

Id say consistency doesn’t really matter, but rather extraction method. Lemme explain, the pewp extraction methods can give you badder or crumble just as easily with the same extraction method. Both equally shit. Or equally fire depending on how it was extracted.
However I will say stuff like bho and shatter and diamonds are gonna be worse just because they’re methods result in a less terpy concentrate.

I always love your videos, but tbh cewpins I've had good distillate from dispensaries in the form of vapes, but theres definately poop tier distillate out there too. Some brands in Michigan are trash, others are fire with good taste and potency. Just depends who you're buying it from i guess.

You know whats Hidden X tier? Like Smoke in Mortal Kombat 3 (no pun intended), is when you get diamonds and sauce, and you crush the hell out of the diamonds and REALLY break in into the sauce. Bruh :(, Shatter is probably the closest to pure THC you can get.. Budder and Wax are all extremely high in terps (usually injected terps) which take away from the potency of each individual hit. Tasty dab is bad dab, pure THC tastes like rubber. Terpenes are the equivalent of cutting a drug lol

I like shatter because normally I don’t keep my dabs in a fridge so they will be a little warmer and sometimes I even put them in a silicon puck and throw it somewhere warm for a couple mins to make it gooey and easier to handle or just put gloves on and shatter it with your finger to a desired size, idk that’s just my preference I like shatter and rosins/badders most
